Hotel Restaurant Meridiana

An absolutely beautiful hotel with helpful, friendly staff, who couldn't do enough for us. Our hotel room (queen superior) had the best view I've ever seen, to be sat in the sun on the bank of Lake Como was amazing! And what a view to wake up to!! Perfect location to visit the other towns around the lake and so easy, as the boat station was a 5.minute walk from the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Absolutely lovely all the way around!! Clean and comfortable rooms & lobby, with very friendly, hospitable staff. Intimate setting that did not feel crowded or like just another customer blending in to a generic experience in a large hotel. The location and views are exceptional - enjoyed collecting sea glass on the private beach and listening to the waves lap against the shore. The continental breakfast is amazing - fresh, delicious large selection of food and seating perfectly situated with full view of the lake. Cannot overstate how helpful and polite the staff was, felt like VIP the whole stay. Highly recommend as a place to stay!!

Wonderful hotel right on the shore of Lake Como. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and easy to speak with. The room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our room, which also had a small balcony. The hotel has its own little beach from which you can enjoy the lake.

The restaurant was very nice with great food and a view of the lake from almost any table, and breakfast was included in the price.

The hotel is located about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station in Bellano.

The town of Bellano itself is delightful too ,I had not heard of it before booking the hotel and am excited to return.

Had a wonderful time here for three days of our honeymoon. Stefania was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our room was the perfect size for the two of us. View of the lake was unparalleled. This was a 12 min walk from the train station and 6 min walk to the ferry stop and “downtown” Bellano. Hot tub was nice on the water, breakfast included was tasty. The restaurant connected to the hotel was awesome as well, and all the workers were incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!

Stunning views, very welcoming and hospitable staff! Room was great and the food was lovely. Best carbonara I had during my 3 day stay in Bellano!! Will definitely come back and stay again! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so comfortable! We had such a great time!

We’ve eaten here both nights during our stay here at Meridiana. Food is delicious and most things are homemade in house (including the ice cream). Marco and Tanya are the best servers one could ask for and made our nights! We loved the salads and the gnocchi!

As big Cabernet Sauvignon fans, we really liked the Botonero wine that Marco recommended was delicious!

Venue is right on the water and our rooms were great. Literally have the water right outside the window. Rooms are clean and comfy. We stayed in the smaller room which is tiny but still comfortable and very nice. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. The room was clean and very functional, the bathroom was big with great amenities and a nice bathtub. The most special part of the room was the balcony, nothing beats the view of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains.
The breakfast was delicious with very nice variety of food and drinks. We also tried out the outdoor jacuzzi and watched the most amazing sunset from there with a glass of Prosecco. Special thanks to Emanuela who made our stay special and helped with all our requests and put a smile on our face every day. Also a huge thanks to Sabrina and the Chef for the great and kind service in the restaurant.
The hotel and the location is amazing, but the people working here makes it even more special. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s planning to visit Bellano or Lake Como. I hope we can return on day.

Hotel Meridiana exceeded expectations. The breakfast service was fantastic. The view of Lake Como from the rooms was amazing! And the surroundings of Bellano are much more peaceful than neighboring towns like Varenna. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Meridiana, Bellano for 6 nights between Christmas and New Year with very personalised service. We got a warm welcome at check in from Emanuella and also champagne, chocolates, biscuits and water bottles were left in in our room. Marco and Tanya are wonderful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us and give us information about the places of interest and made our stay enjoyable and memorable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast too was excellent. Had a delicious meal at the restaurant. This 3 Star hotel should have 4 stars. The location is fantastic with stunning views. Will surely stay at this hotel the next time we visit.

Absolutely recommend! I came for a short weekend away and was very happy with my experience. The staff is super friendly and hospitable, everything was clean and well taken care of. A relaxing vibe and a beautiful view of the lake and mountains!

Lovely rooms right on the water. We were on the ground floor and the water was perfectly lapping just below out balcony. Highly recommended. Some of the staff spoke excellent English so it was not a problem for the non-Italian speakers in our group.

Hotel Meridiana on lake Como was magical. Our room was a private luxury, food great and delightful personal attention from the owner and staff. The only missing 'extra' would have been cocktails with George C !

This is a wonderful and reasonably priced small privately owned hotel right smack on Lake Como. It is quiet with no highway or ferries to obstruct your views of the Lake.

Our Suite balcony was situated over the Lake and we sat for hours with the Lake water pounding the rocks below us. There is also a unique small beach.

The service was superb and the entire hotel and restaurant staff and chef are extremely friendly, attentive and work hard to please.

Bellano, walking distance from the Hotel, is a charming small town with local bars and restaurants. Be sure to take the tour into the 15 million year old gorge in Bellano if you go.

Lovely dinner with old world charm and service. Candlelight, wine and lake reflections added to the ambience without being stuffy. The lasagna was extraordinary - quite a special meal.

Amazing views from the room. The staff is amazing! Tonya, Marco, Monica and Nancy were all so helpful, welcoming and fun!
