Agriturismo Incanto del Fiume

I was here last week for a retreat and could not have thought of a better location! The Agriturismo is located in the countryside, with beautiful mountains on all sides. It is the perfect place to find some peace and quiet and relax by the pool or take a hike. It takes some time to get there from the nearest airport (PSA, 1 hour, 15 min by car) but it is well worth the drive. The hosts, Antonio and Chiara, made us feel like family, have a great sense of humour, and were always happy to help if we needed anything. The food was spectacular, with home grown vegetables, authentic, hand-made Italian pasta, and wild game. I would love to come again soon!

100% recommended!! It was the pure Tuscany feeling at Chiara and Antonios lovely Agriturismo. The surroundings are breathtaking in a calm area outside of Pomarance. The house is beautifully renovated, the rooms are clean and spacious. Chiara and Antonio with their lovely kids and dogs are perfect hosts, starting from being super welcoming and helpful to offering the most delicious home made meals with fresh self-grown ingredients from their garden. Also it was super convenient to book dinner and breakfast day by day. The atmosphere is super familiar and we were able to entirely relax and calm down during our week. Thank you we're gladly coming back!

Antonio and Chiara are one of the warmest people we have ever met. We got married in Pomarance and had our friends staying at their place. All of our friends spoke with such high praise about their stay at the agriturismo and the hospitality of Chiara and Antonio. We will never ever forget this weekend and would love to return. If you have the opportunity to stay here go for it, you will definitely not regret it!

A wonderful, quiet and peaceful place surrounded by wonderful nature. The hosts are the most friendly and lovely people, doing everything to make your stay unforgettable in the most positive way.

Great for as well families or couples. In close distance to Pomarance you can do daytours as well to the sea, Pisa, Lucca, Sienna, Florence and so much more. Also worth a tour is Volterra in only 20 minutes distance.

Not to forget the beautiful Val di Cecina with its river to have a great swim after a nice wandering through field and forest.

But you forget about all that just chilling at the pool with the beautiful look over the valley and just enjoying the sounds of the wind and the cicades...

We spent about 2 weeks with Antonio and Chiara.
The rooms are in typical Tuscan style. Everything was very well kept and clean. The restaurant offers enough space both indoors and outdoors. The pool is big enough to swim a few lengths, play waterball or just chill out and enjoy the great view. The two dogs Datri and Giotto are very well behaved, so the stay was not disturbed by the two dogs at any time.
The location of the accommodation offers a beautiful view of the surrounding fields, olive trees and vines. You can also enjoy the sunset there in a unique atmosphere.
Breakfast and dinner can be booked every day. Breakfast consists of products that Antonio makes himself. Essentially, there are freshly baked cakes, honey from their own production, homemade jam. But also bread, sausage and cheese were offered to us in very good quality. Of course, the eggs from the farm's own chickens were not missing either. We were very satisfied with the breakfast and especially full for a long time, because the quality of the products was very high.
Dinner consisted of 3 courses, as is usual in Tuscany. First there was pasta or risotto. Some of the pasta was freshly made. The pesto consisted mostly of produce from the garden. The second course usually consisted of vegetables and meat or something vegetarian. For dessert, there was almost always something different. We could always order a carafe of wine to go with the meal. Antonio produces the wine himself. We can only recommend to take the wine with the meal.
The food and wine were sensational.
Antonio always took very good care of his guests and was very present.
Since Antonio had relatively few rooms occupied due to a website error, we had a little more opportunity to talk to Antonio and get a few more cooking tips.
The location of the farm is suitable for various excursions and also for days by the sea. Antonio likes to give tips for excursions and we were never disappointed.
We felt like we were in a big family with Antonio and Chiara. This helped us a lot to relax and enjoy our holiday. This place is special because Antonio and Chiara, with their open and warm manner, create an atmosphere in which we felt very welcome and at home.
We will definitely be back!

Our stay with Chiara, Antonio and little Dario was just perfect! From the warm welcome till we left they have made every effort so that we really felt like home and staying with friends. Antonio is an amazing cook, so definitely make use of the dinner option! Everyday homemade pasta with fresh vegetables from their own garden. We can highly recommend this place for families.

This is the best Agroturismo I have every visited. Genuine rural environment and FANTASTIC food every breakfast and dinner (7days). We have enjoyed every minute. Antonio and Chiara and Simone and others in the family have given us a service which is outstanding. It's a passion from their side with 100% local food ingredients and organic production. We will surely come back here.

Chiaro and Antonio you are an inspiration! Thank you for the beautiful week we spent with you, in a very comfortable apartment. The most pleasure came from your three- course delicious evening meals, (even the flour for the pasta was grown on the farm) -
which meant it was a REAL holiday for me. You're so cheerful and hard working, making it look easy with your positive attitude. You did everything in your power to make us comfortable and we have many happy memories.

We had an amazing week at Incanto del Fiume. Chiara and Antonio are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The house and property are beautiful and it's easy to visit other great spots (Volterra, the river, the sea...) as day trips. Our apartment was equipped with a kitchen that had everything we needed to cook. We also ate dinner in the restaurant of the Agriturismo twice, which was a wonderful experience: delicious home cooked food in a really personal atmosphere, and really easy to get in touch with other people. Antonio even accommodated my wishes for Vegatrian food.

Staying in incancto del fiume is like satying in heaven! Antonio en Chiara offer such a lovely stay, not only in their appartment en houses, but certainly also the way they make you feel at home! We enjoy the rest, the garden and swimming pool and the beautiful views, sunset and sundowns. Watching a deer running in nature, while enjoying your evening. We love this place and this was our seventh stay. That says it all. For us Antonio, Chiara and their beautiful kids are like our Italian family! I certainly recommend an stay at their beautiful place. Meet their hospitality, their authenticity and most important: their beautiful hearts!!

Highly recommended agriturismo accessible by public transport!

My wife and I had a wonderful week at Antonio and Chiaras lovely agriturismo. The old farmhouse is beautifully located between olive groves and the view by the pool over the Tuscany landscape is just breath taking. Antonio and Chiara are very affable, attentive and friendly hosts and the daily changing menu of homemade food was very delicious and is served on a terrace with a beautiful sunset-view. Antonio and Chiara were so kind to provide us with some of their recipes, let us use their brick-oven to bake our own pizza and Antonio showed us his honey harvesting skills. It was no problem to travel to Incanto Del Fiume by public transport. We arrived by bus and train from Saline/Cecina and Antonio picked us up from the City Centre of Pomarance. You can also walk between the centre of Pomarance and the agriturismo within 20-25 minutes. We stayed there just to relax but there are daily buses that bring you to the sightseeing towns around, like Pisa or Volterra.

All in all a wonderful agriturismo experience and we are already looking forward to come back!

We had a really nice holiday at Incanto del Fiume. Antonia and Chiara are wonderful hosts and it did not lack us in anything. You can tell that they really poor their heart in into their work and I admire how they manage the farm, the hotel and the family :)
The setting is really beautiful, located uphill and you have a great view onto the fields and valley. The pool was great for sunbathing and refreshing. Make sure to also have dinner there, really good homecooked food and also the homemade organic wine is very delicious. Furthermore Antonia and Chiara were able to give us great individual advice on where to go and where to eat, we especially loved the recommendation of the two brothers selling amazing sandwiches on our way to the beach.
I really can not recommend this place enough and hope to be back again. We miss the place a lot and wish all the best to the incanto del fiume family and team!

Amazing place, relaxing atmosphere ... Outdoor pool and beautiful views. Very good service, tasty food and drinks... Special beers, homemade wines, pasta, salad and deserts. I would come back to this place again! Highly recommend.

Ho soggiornato con un'amica all'Incanto del Fiume per una settimana dal 22 al 29 luglio 2023. Sono voluta tornare perché c'ero già stata nel 2015 e l'esperienza anche questa volta è stata meravigliosa ed ha confermato le ottime impressioni già avute in passato. Antonio e Chiara sono due ospiti fantastici, loro piccoli figli Dario e Flora, dolcissimi, per non parlare del cane Giotto, che ti accoglie al tuo arrivo scodinzolando felice....ti senti davvero a casa e si respira un'aria familiare e positiva. La cucina è varia e biologica, con tutte materie prime ottime e prodotti fatti in casa con passione ed entusiasmo. La nostra camera era confortevole e spaziosa, la piscina meravigliosa, ma l'intera struttura davvero bella e con un panorama sulle colline circostanti invidiabile. Ci siamo godute la piscina con
