Toscana Autentica Agriturismo

I came here on holiday in spring to stay for 2 weeks. I was really looking for that "cliché Tuscany" that I've seen in movies, but this space completely crushed my expectations. The agriturismo is on the countryside which means no car noises and an open, breathtaking view on the Tuscan hills, covered in vinyards and olive trees will be surrounding you. The garden is stunning, rich of all kinds of plants and smells, and the family that welcomed me is incredibly friendly. This place was perfect for my very much needed "responsibilities-getaway": I finally had some time for myself in the peace of singing birds and fresh breezes. I was also served the most delicious and healthy dinners cooked with homemade products and vegetables (its hard, after your stay, to go back to supermarket groceries).
I mus say there wasn't much to see in Pomarance, but there's loads of enchanting villages not too far away, though I probably enjoyed relaxing at the farm the most.

I worked in Podere Palazonne in May and June 2018 and had the most amazing time. Not only did I fall in love with the place, but also with the family owning it.
For people like me who love spending time in nature it is just great because of the location, the huge garden which the family keeps really clean and nice and of course because of the lovely animals. Whether you want to visit nearby cities, go to the beach, do some horseback riding throughout the fields and the river or just lean back and get tanned next to the pool with a nice book - it's all there. Next great point: if you decide to have dinner at Podere Palazzone you can be certain to have delicious vegetables and herbs from their own garden on your plate and that it will be very very tasty.
Furthermore, the family running the place is super kind and keen to help wherever they can. As I worked there I know how much effort they put into making it a great stay for every guest.
Maybe the reader might feel that my text is a little biased :D but I mean and feel everything I say - it is a great place and I totally recommend you to go there!

I worked as a seasonal for Enrico and Maura on the summer of 2021. An experience rich in encounters, in a magnificent setting. We feel good at Podere Palazzone, peaceful place. I will never forget !

Great tuscan experience, with added value of olive garden and horse-riding stables. Recommended.

La Toscana è bella tutta ma.... questo Casale è in uno splendido posto da dove puoi partire per borghi, puoi goderti la natura o semplicemente stare in pieno relax. Appartamento pulitissimo e curato in modo raffinato nei minimi particolari. Cucina decisamente sana e gustosa e accoglienza speciale dei gestori. Da vivere per capire e apprezzare!!

Wir haben unseren Osterurlaub hier verbracht. Ein einzigartiges Landhaus mit toller mittelalterlicher Atmosphäre vor einer umwerfenden Kulisse. Unsere Kinder hatten an den freilaufenden Tieren eine Riesenfreude. Sehr erfreulich, wie man hier mit dem Thema artgerechte Haltung und Nachhaltigkeit umgeht. Die sehr netten Gastgeber haben uns mit vielen Insidertipps versorgt. So haben wir auf tollen Ausflügen die Toskana ziemlich gut kennen gelernt und uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Absolut empfehlenswert. Und lasst euch Mara's Essen nicht entgehen!

Wir haben Ende August ein paar Tage auf diesem wunderschönen alten Bauernhof verbracht. Das Haus ist wunderbar im toskanischen Stil renoviert. Vom Pool aus hat man eine herrliche Aussicht auf Volterra. Bei den Ausritten in den Nationalpark lernt man die Toskana nochmals aus einer ganz anderen Perspektive kennen, diesen Ausritt haben wir sehr genossen. Ein echtes Highlight, ist für Reitanfänger wie mich aber auch für fortgeschrittene Reiter nur zu empfehlen. Die beiden Gastgeber und ihre Familie sind sehr nett, immer hilfsbereit und haben uns mit ihren Insidertipps den Urlaub nochmals bereichert. Wir kommen wieder ;-).

Wir verbrachten einen Teil unserer Flitterwochen im Podere Palazzone mit traumhafter Lage mitten in der Toskana. Der rustikale Hof liegt malerisch auf einem Hügel mit direktem Blick auf Volterra. Auch wenn es im Oktober leider zu kalt für den Infinity-Pool war, bietet dieser dennoch schöne Momente zum Entspannen und die Landschaft genießen auch auf der Liegewiese nebenan - was wir bei unserem ersten Besuch vor 4 Jahren im Sommer ausführlich nutzen konnten. Die Gastgeber Maura und Enrico sind sehr freundlich und zuverkommend und haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben uns den Aufetnhalt perfekt zu machen.
Wir konnten bei einem romantischen Candle-Light-Dinner die toskanische Küche teilweise aus dem eigenen Anbau in vollen Zügen genießen.
In der Umgebung hat man alle Möglichkeiten, die man sich für einen Toskana-Urlaub vorstellt. Innerhalb einer Fahrstunde errreicht man das Meer, die Städte Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, sowie viele kleine sehenswerte toskanische Dörfer, auch Florenz und Pisa sind gut zu erreichen und immer einen Ausflug wert.
Rundum haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Uno dei miei luoghi del cuore! Il posto è magico, ci si immerge nella campagna Toscana e non mancano le attività per godersela appieno! Maura è un'host eccezionale, che ti fa sentire a casa dal primo all'ultimo momento 🙏

Volete farvi cullare dai ritmi dettati dalla natura ?
Allora siete nel posto giusto.
Quando i profumi ti avvolgono ed il gusto del cibo ti esplodono in bocca ,cucinati dall'accogliente Maura ...i ricordi di una vita frenetica spariscono.
che dire la Natura che si vive in questo Agriturismo tiene testa a tanti Resort da me frequentati.

Piscina da sogno, un oasi di pace. Cavalli bellissimi. Uova fresche tutti i giorni grazie alla folta truppa di galline!!! Si mangia benissimo !! Vacanza rilassante e rigenerante ottima per gustarsi appieno ogni secondo del giorno.

Grazie Maura per l indimenticabile vacanza trascorsa con voi. Il posto è incantevole un paradiso per le mie bambine che si sono divertite come matte con i simpaticissimi animali della tua fattoria. Il posto è meraviglioso mi sono sentita da subito a casa . Il cibo ottimo che dire non vediamo l ora di tornare da voi. Francesca

Posto fantastico, cibo sublime specialmente le cene a tema, Maura ed Enrico squisiti padroni di casa, in poche parole da consigliare a tutti!!!! P. S. La piscina a sfioro con vista sulla Val di Cecina e Volterra una chicca da provare.

Wir hatten mit unserem Wohnmobil einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Zweimal hat Enrico für uns toskanisches Abendessen gekocht - sehr lecker. Die Aussicht vom Pool ist mega. Der Ausritt mit den Pferden war ein Erlebnis.

MERAVIGLIOSO! Se amate la natura, il buon cibo, gli animali e soprattutto sentirvi coccolati dai proprietari non potete non scegliere Agriturismo Toscana Autentica splendidamente gestito da Enrico e Maura.

Balade à cheval, piscine à débordement et cuisine maison dans un petit havre de paix!

Posto incantevole, relax assoluto, un angolo di paradiso dove rifugiarsi appena possibile. Lo consiglio assolutamente!!!
