Wonderful place to stay and eat. Nadia and Felice are the best. This place feels different than a typical hotel stay.. I felt at home.

Our home away from home!! Great beds, HVAC, great views, great service and great food. We love these people and their Hotel. Perfect starting point for day trips to Val D'Orcia, Assisi, Orvieto, Cortona, & Montepulciano. You won't be disappointed!!!

Perfect B&B! The room was spacious, bright, and very clean! Nadia is so kind and accommodating. Breakfast is delicious (absolutely perfect eggs) and so is dessert. We'll have to go back and try dinner. Very reasonably priced, highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We „had“ to stay there because our car broke down in the middle of the road from Rome to Firenze. I want to say once again THANK YOU to this amazing host Nadia who helped us all the time and offered support at any time while we needed something. You can truly feel that she cares about her guests. Breakfast is great, rooms are very big and AC works perfectly. Perfectly located to visit the centre. 100% recommended. Grazie mille!

My first stay in Italy was spent here and I feel like I discovered a gem by staying there.

There are so many things I liked about the look and feel of this hotel, it's cleanliness, generous sized rooms and modernity, etc.

But above all, the number 1 standout to us was the genuine warmth, friendliness, care and attention extended to us by the owner Nadia and her husband.

I travel alot and have stayed in some really nice and comfortable places but never before had the feeling of being at home too.
Staying with such genuine hosts really made my stay in Sarteano most memorable. Thank you again.

If you look for a real good cusine with very fair prices you should not miss this restaurant. The interieur is modern and not stereotypical Italian (chequered tablecloth…). The pizzas are absolutely fabulous , the wine selection is limited but very good. The prices are almost at shop level. A Rosso de Montalcino from Banfi for 16€, a Vino Nobile Reserva from Carpineto for 28€. The restaurant is member of Slow Food, so only ingredients of high quality are used. The service was very attentive and nice. It seems that most tourists don‘t know this place… we came twice and were the only non-Italiens. Thank you for two great culinary evenings.

We were passing through the area on our way from Montepulciano back to Rome & needed to break up the drive. We called & made a reservation for 8 people at noon, but arrived earlier (closer to 11:30). Although the restaurant wasn’t open yet, Nadia greeted us at the door with her beautiful & welcoming smile & asked us to give her 5 minutes. We sat on the patio & enjoyed the view and as promised she was back within 5 minutes (or less) to escort us to our table. She was so helpful in explaining the menu & accommodating in offering to make “off menu/ custom” pizzas. As it turned out 3 of us ordered the pappardelle with shrimp & zucchini. It was the best meal I’ve had in the full week in Italy only made better by their superior hospitality. They have given me a reason to return to the area & stay at the hotel. Thank you so much for being your wonderful & welcoming selves. It is so refreshing in today’s world!

The hotel has been transformed since our visit five years ago. The room and bathroom were much larger, the furnishings were new and air conditioning has been fitted. Food was excellent.

Condivido questa splendida esperienza in questa fantastica struttura iniziando da un accoglienza eccellente da parte della signora Nadia...
Eravamo un gruppo di 10 amici ed ha soddisfatto a pieni voti ognuno di noi con una cena di alto livello ed una location che ha superato qualsiasi aspettativa e la mattina ci ha coccolato con una gustosa ed abbondante colazione internazionale con cibo locale.
Siamo pronti già per andare nuovamente e sfruttare la possibilità di visitare nuovi posti adiacenti alla struttura.

Innanzitutto location in posizione strategica per visitare i luoghi attorno e a pochi km dall'autostrada A1. L'ambiente è arredato con gusto, un'ottima cordialità e gentilezza da parte dei gestori, cucina ottima e molto ben curata. Camere accoglienti e molto confortevoli.
Unica nota negativa i soli due giorni di pausa...... Vabbè, ci rifaremo per la prossima volta, amen!

Abbiamo cenato nel ristorante dell'hotel e la pizza ci ha sorpreso per l'alta qualità delle materie prime, l'abbondanza degli ingredienti e un gusto spettacolare. Anche il servizio è stato cortese e attento. Si trova a meno di 10 min a piedi dal centro e una parte dei tavoli esterni ha la vista sul castello.
Davvero consigliato!

L'hotel é molto carino e la stanza spaziosa, peccato solo in certi momenti la pressione dell'acqua della doccia calava, ma credo sia un problema di tutto il paese. Molto comodo il parcheggio e la colazione veramente ottima. Torte e cornetti spettacolari.

Pobyt w hotelu przewyższył moje oczekiwania. Pokoje były bardzo czyste i dobrze wyposażone. Obsługa była pomocna i sympatyczna. W hotelu działa restauracja gdzie można zjeść bardzo dobrą pizzę. Na terenie hotelu znajduje się bezpłatny i bezpieczny parking.

Abbiamo soggiornato 10 giorni fa. La gentilezza, la pulizia, l'arredamento e la cucina meritano di ritornare in questo albergo. Siamo stati veramente bene. Consigliatissimo

Esperienza fantastica in questa struttura, proprietaria super simpatica e professionale, il ristorante nella struttura é eccezionale, materia prima di qualità, tutto buonissimo. Ho già consigliato la struttura ad amici che si trovavano in zona. E sicuramente manderò altre persone perche sicuramente farò bella figura. Sicuramente una tappa fissa quando sarò a sarteano.

La signora che ci ha accolto molto solare e cortese, camere belle e pulite, la colazione ricca e varia.

Ottima esperienza. In viaggio vacanza con famiglia. Tutto apprezzatissimo dall accoglienza simpatica cordiale familiare alle camere belle pulite con ampi bagni ,apprezzatissimo il bollitore con le tisane che Nadia,la proprietaria prontamente rimetteva al consumo. La cucina eccellente con ingredienti di qualità .Grazie Nadia per tutto .anche per le chiacchierate ed i consigli escursionistici. Torneremo. Super consigliato

Sarteano non lo conoscevo come borgo e soprattutto non conoscevo la Gustea, però l'istinto, oltre le già favorevoli recensioni, mi hanno fatto scegliere questo hotel per il soggiorno insieme a mia moglie. È stata una delle scelte migliori che ho fatto per quanto riguarda gli alberghi. Questo non è un albergo bensì una casa dove si trova simpatia e calore e va da sé che la struttura è bella si mangia benissimo i proprietari simpaticissimi la qualità dei prodotti di livello elevato. L'alta qualità dei prodotti locali usati in cucina, dove la sapienza artigianale ne ha esaltato i sapori toscani ha reso le cene, e le colazioni mattutine, davvero all'altezza dell'essere La Gustea un presidio Slow Food.
