Pane e Radici

Amazing, delicious food with excellent and friendly service. We ate lunch there with our four year old daughter and were treated as special guests. The portions are quite large though it’s tempting to eat everything! We happily give Pane e Radici in Sambuca di Sicilia five out of five stars!!!

Wonderful restaurant with a good balance of meat and fish dishes with some vegetarian options. We went the seafood route and didn't for a second regret our choice. The wine too was amazing and rightly so as we're bang in the middle of the wine trek in the Agrigento region of Sicily. The staff were lovely and attentive without over doing it. The restaurant was full for a Monday night which surely must be an attestation of their quality and good food. A must try and now I regret not having taken photos .........well we'll just have to go back another evening to remedy that.
This being our first experience of Sambuca di Sicilia, a town filled with history and mysterious tales we are excited for the following days. However, keep this a secret as it truly is a pearl near the sea.

Wow this place is tops. Food is what you'd want to find in Sicily: traditional, fresh, flavorful, and beautiful to look at. It is located in a tiny village in SW Sicily. The servers are local young people who do all they can to keep your table covered. Prices more than reasonable for what they put on your table. I recommend the antipasto di mare nostrum. It's a knockout. Full selection of wines from the local vintners. GO.

The food is amazing and the atmosphere is welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoy excellent food and wine!

Fantastic. Food. No more to be said... fantastic food!!!!! Also very nice staff and nice place. But Even if no one was friendly and there werde plastic chairs in a tent, the food would still be worth it. As mentioned before: it's fantastic :-)

Ristorante con fascino unico, dalla location al sig. Mario. Cibo del territorio buonissimo con bellissima presentazione e vino per accompagnare! Il classico posto in cui vai a pranzare e ti senti dal posto, in cui il proprietario trova il tempo per fare due chiacchiere con te, cosa che al Nord dell Italia non si trova più ormai da anni. Prezzi giustissimi e una qualità del servizio da 5 stelle!
