Hotel Villa Malpensa

I’ve stayed in both the deluxe double and the junior suite on two separate occasions and wouldn’t pay extra for the suite next time. It wasn’t worth it for a short stay. The rooms are clean and spacious enough to open two large suitcases without falling over them.
The hotel is in an excellent location with a free airport shuttle. You cannot walk to/from the airport but the shuttle goes until midnight. (Tip: If you are coming in after that you can take the PAM car park shuttle for €10 which runs 24x7 and is across the street from the hotel.)
Breakfast starts at 5am and the dinner is fine, but there isn’t another option. It’s perfectly adequate but won’t be your best meal in Italy.
We happened to be there during the day and they kindly shuttled us to the next town to a local restaurant which was great for lunch as the restaurant at the hotel is not open during the day. The shuttle will also take you to the train station in the airport if you want to go into Milan.
The reception staff are all very helpful and our group had quite a bit of luggage so they put on extra shuttles to deal with that. I recommend it!

I stayed here the night before an early flight, and it was an excellent choice. Located just 5 minutes from the airport, it offers convenient parking and lovely facilities. The staff were great—attentive and welcoming, making the stay even more pleasant.

The room was spacious with an unexpectedly large balcony. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and they even provided early morning snack options for those with early departures. You can also schedule a free shuttle to the airport at any time, which was incredibly convenient.

The hotel has a great pool, and we even got to see cows grazing across the way, adding a touch of charm. The building itself looks like an old castle, full of character—you certainly don’t feel like you’re at an airport hotel.

Perfect service and delicious dinner. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Air conditioning worked a treat and the pool, only open in summer, just the thing for a dip and cool down. Position perfect for my early morning departure. 3 Euro shuttle to Terminal 1 in the morning. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at VILLA MALPENSA . The location is very convenient and is only at 3 minutes from the airport. They have very efficient shuttle services too . Our flight was delayed a few hours and they were very kind to offer us support . Will surely recommend this property .

If need to catch an early flight from malpensa. This location is an amazing way to enjoy a last minute italian treat before a flight (especially if a long one). Beds are comfortable and large. Dinner is also available a la carte. Temperature of the rooms are a bit too warm, but overall the night passed quietly and relaxing.
A shuttle service runs from 5 AM to midnight to and from the airport.
Restrooms are spacious too and have big shower with good water pressure.
Buffet breakfast is included.

A very cozy and well-equipped hotel in a pleasant atmosphere. A touch of nobility. The furnishings keep what the facade promises. Nice staff, good restaurant and good breakfast. Ample parking spaces. Top price-performance ratio. I will definitely come back.

An outstanding hotel! The services provided are exceptional, featuring a professional shuttle service that ensures you are dropped off at the precise airport door for your airline, they even offer the convenience of picking you up from the airport. It's the perfect accommodation for a one-night stay to ensure a smooth and stress-free connection to your flight.

The rooms are pretty standard, but the hotel itself is gorgeous. There is a patio area where you can sit outside and read outside of this incredibly, mansion-like building surrounded by flowers. The best part, I think, is that the staff are extraordinarily kind and accommodating (especially Inet, though honestly everyone was lovely). I had a flight later in the day and he even offered to coordinate with other staff so drive my suitcase back to to the hotel and then bring it to me roughly 10 hours after we checked out and I dropped my mom off at the airport so that I could explore the city. Talk about above and beyond..! Really kind people and beautiful premises. Oh, and it's only a couple of minutes from the airport and the shuttles are frequent, which I came to appreciate after staying somewhere else after missing my flight and they were full and I had to arrive at the airport 90 minutes before I can check in.

A great place to stay if you are transiting through Milan-Malpensa.
Shuttle bus is quick to pick you up for the 5 minute drive to the hotel.
Rooms are very clean and the bed was large and comfortable.
Dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent, we both had the lamb ribs, cooked perfectly. The strawberry cheesecake was excellent for desert.
Good choice of wines available and a well stocked little bar for pre dinner drink if you wish.

We were so lucky that the baggage handlers went on strike in Italy so we could stay an extra night here! Such a charming place in a peaceful village. The food and drink at the restaurant and bar is incredible, including the free continental breakfast. The rooms are extremely comfortable, clean, and renovated. The staff is so friendly and the free airport shuttle was efficient and close by. They lent us an umbrella to walk around the village and we had such a nice break in between our hectic travels. Sleep with the windows open to the sound of the rain, wheat fields in the wind, and birdsong.

I would like to share my experience of this place.
Transfer: the shuttle works only till midnight (costs 2,5 euro per person with luggage). We arrived at 01.00 am, so we took a taxi. A taxi on the taxi station (just near the exit) costs around 15 euro almost the same price is for Uber (13.50-15 €). The driving time is about 5 minutes - few turns and you are on the place. Receptionist was very nice and patiently answered on our questions. Nice thing - the bottled water in the room is for free. The room is clean and well designed. I didn’t find a vent in the bathroom, so if you like hot steam shower, then you will need to open a window. The air con was a little loud for me, but it depends on your sensitivity to noise. The corridors between rooms are covered with thick carpet, so I was sleeping well and didn’t hear any noises outside, what is a great plus after long flight. The breakfast was nice. Some reviews wrote about “amazing” breakfasts, however I would say just “good”. Nothing special, but everything was fresh, tasty and beautifully served : fresh bakery, tasty coffee, fruits (oranges, kiwi, bananas, pears), grains and yogurts and of course scrambled eggs, different kinds of beacon and cheese, seasonal veggies. Everything what supposed to be hot was hot (scramble, water for tea, beacon etc) and everything what supposed to be cold was cold (yogurts, juice, mineral water). Also it is possible to order espresso or cappuccino. The design of the hotel is sumptuous. It was a joy to wake up in comfortable room and had a breakfast in luxurious hall. Also we used shuttle to get back to the airport to use train to Milano (13 euro per person). So I definitely recommend this place to stay, even if you had a very long and tough flight, this place will cheer you up.

We stayed here 2 nights to be close to the airport before flying home. The shuttle service was very quick, we didn't have to wait long at all. Breakfast was good and we had dinner on site both nights since there aren't restaurants close by. We used the shuttle to go to the airport and take the train to Milan city center and explored all day. Very convenient, A/C worked great, staff was friendly, and we were very pleased. The bathrooms looked recently updated and very nice.

Nice hotel with good free shuttle service from both terminal 1 & 2. Rooms are good size, sparkling, equipped with everything you need.

We stayed at this lovely hotel twice on our recent trip to Milano. On arrival I was really surprised to find such a lovely building with excellent rooms, friendly staff, a super efficient shuffle service and best of all first class food. I was expecting the usual airport hotel experience of basic cramped rooms and poor service but this hotel is the opposite. After many years travelling this hotel is without doubt the best Airport hotel I have stayed in. If it was in Milan city I would book in for my entire holiday.

If you are having flights from Malpanesa airport, this is for sure a great place to stay.

Nice place de Defrag after 18 hours of flying. Comfortable room,really quiet, close to airport, professional and friendly staff that put up with us Americans. Airport shuttle service. Very positive experience.

Local WiFi is terrible, you will have a connection in your room, but without internet)

This hotel is a palace in the most unexpected place, would actually hope to have another cancelled flight in Malpensa just to stay here another time. 10/10
