Review only for car return drop off. Clear instructions from Highway exit to the Avis T1 terminal. After less than 10 mins (5 mins wait, 5 mins checking the car and ✍🏼 signature) we could leave, didn’t even need to go inside the office.

The Avis office to T1 has smooth pavement and roof so it was pretty easy and close to check in counters.

Got a good price which was better than many of the ordinary "cheap rental services". When I arrived I got upgraded and got a much better car. The time spent for getting the car was very low and all the process were very smooth. Same with return, and the service agent was both quick and friendly. In total, maybe my best car rental experience ever.

Had an Avis rental in Italy for one week. Great car (Jeep Compass) with a super GPS (in English) who got me where I needed to go. Return agent Roberto was exceptional in that he took me to an agent who corrected my invoice.

Very good service with a smile , got the car I asked could not ask for anything better, was nervous as had a very early 6am drop off and left key in a box but all was ok and safe … will use again

Excellent Rental experience- we rented a car in Milan airport (melpansa terminal 1) for 7 days - we got a new car - the rental and return process was easy . We even got help to connect our phone to the car screen .. if you need a rental car in Milan .. look no further than Avis ..

Superb everything went smoothly. Just got the keys and checked the car. All good and off we went. We got a Lancia Ypsilon. For 2 adults it’s a good size. We had normal luggage. One bag and one cabin suitcase. Friendly staff. Will hire again.

The service was top notch from beginning (I made a reservation online) to end (the price was precisely the price quoted). The car we were given was a brand new Seat 4 door sedan which was excellent in every way --excellent handling, braking, gas mileage with a very smooth ride. The price was a true value, and given the car, I would rate the price as a bargain.

Please be aware the Avis/Budget counter in Malpensa does not open until 7:30 am which I was informed of beforehand. My flight arrived very early, but the counter opened precisely at 7:30 with no delay and 4 agents immediately ready to service customers.

I've rented many cars in the past at Malpensa with a so-so set of experiences. I'm glad I tried Avis/Budget and will definitely do so in the future.

It works the same way as it does in the US. just walk to the car and you're good to go.

By law, you do need an international driver's permit despite them not asking you for it when using the preferred perk.

Don't understand the negative reviews here. I have rented cars from Avis (and others) around the world and my experience at Avis Malpensa was as good as it gets in the rent a car business. No issues on pickup and a very professional experience on dropoff thanks to Marco and his female colleague (sorry can't recall name, but see photos). They made everything simple; explained exactly how to get to our rooms at the Sheraton. More than anything, I appreciated how friendly and caring they were. Definitely set the highest standard for your company and earned my loyalty.

Great and consistent service over the years. People always friendly with a smile and finding solutions for everything. I will remain to be Avis customer in years to come. Avis - Malpensa team is a great team and see you again!
