Osteria Monti Domaso

One of my favorite places at North of Como lake, have been here numerous times. Always delicious food, amazing wine list. Service is in overall good, sometimes they are a bit overrun and it takes longer, but still friendly and professional.

A great restaurant with a very creative and delicious seafood menu. Everything is great, including the free spread and little pre-dessert.

Very nice location, food was excelent. Steak was cooked to a perfect medium. Recommend!

A really fabulous restaurant, great wine list and well priced. The service was excellent and the food fabulous. I have eaten in many Michelin starred restaurants and have to say the food here was equally as flavoursome, beautifully cooked and elegantly served. Great ingredients and simple cooking equal a diners delight. Bravo. I had for my main a Montana of king prawns and langoustine served on bed of ribbons of slightly pickled vegetables which was fantastic, my wife had a pumpkin and cauliflower cream served with herbed croutons as her starter and a sea bass with sautéed peppers and black olives as her main course. Price stated was with. One glass of chianti, two glasses of vermentino and a bottle of water. For the quality of the food this was a very fair price.

Awesome food! Awesome staff with courteous of fine dining! You’ll never regret for what you pay. In fact having stayed a week in Domaso, we picked this restaurant to spend our last night and it was the right choice! This was the only restaurant that serves fresh risotto which they told me in advance it takes about 20mins-25mins. I am a big fan of risotto but trust me, you’ll never get ones around. Most of them arrived at your plate within 10mins! But this restaurant was the ONE! I am so happy with the food, the wine and the service! Checkout our food pic below! Plus they are generous to offer you on the house tiny bites while waiting. They even craft special vegetarian bites for me since I’m a vegetarian. Surely must try restaurant!

Really good food. Menu includes mostly fish options, though the few meat options are the best I've had in a while. Desserts are delicious and not as mainstream as other restaurants offer. You pay slightly more than other restaurants in the area, though it's definitely a 9.5/10.

There's a big range of wines to choose from along with the food. The waitresses are very helpful and polite.

When in Domaso or close, definitely visit this restaurant.

This place is a MUST. Excellent ambiance, friendly staff, and outstanding food. We went multiple times and the team at Osteria Monti Domaso consistently delivered. Also kid friendly with simple pasta choices.

Being tired of touristy places with okay food (which are many in the area), we stumbled upon this restaurant which does not have lake view or flashy advertisement.
the food is very good, you feel the thought and effort, also in simple traditional dishes. I had pasta vongole and it was one of the best I ever tried.
Highly recommended for those who care about quality food.
