Admittedly, there are many nice Agritourismo throughout Italy, but this one is special. Apart from the stunning view over a small valley, very comfortable beds, the tranquil scenery, a very well maintained and lovely garden - Anita and Francesco are perfect hosts. The food is simply amazing and we had such fun chatting with Francesco. His tips for trips to Siena and San Gimignano were invaluable. No need to "google" anything, just ask Francesco what to see, where to eat and where to get the best Gelato. Our kids loved the dogs (who can resist a dachshund anyways) and when we left the only demand was to return soon.

Our stay with Francesco, and Anita was absolutely wonderful! Their warmth and kindness, the property, the food, the wine, and the serenity made our stay with them our favorite of our Italian vacation. We hope to get back and visit them again someday!

We spent 3 days at this beautiful villa in Tuscany. We wish we could have stayed longer, it is truly an Italian dream. The villa was spotless, the grounds beautifully maintained. Anita is a wonderful cook, I would definitely recommend enjoying her homemade meals and Francesco’s wine selection, and of course grappa.🤗 Had it been warmer we would have loved to swim in their beautiful pool. The owners are kind and do their best to make guests feel at home and comfortable. We also loved meeting there sweet dogs and Rossana the princess chicken. To cute! We are definitely recommending this beautiful B&B 👍

What an incredible experience! My partner and I travelled through Italy for 3 weeks, spending 3 nights at La Fornella dell’Anita. It was the highlight of our trip!
The location is spectacular and the room was comfortable with luxurious fittings, but the hospitality provided by Francesco and Anita is what really made the stay special.
We thoroughly enjoyed Anita’s amazing cooking each night and nothing is too much of an ask for Francesco. He provided excellent recommendations for day trips and where to find the best gelato!
They hold a special place in our hearts and we hope that we can come back again one day!

My family of 6 bade farewell to the lovely owners of Agriturismo La Fornella dell'Anita after 5 beautiful nights’ stay. Each of us left a piece of our heart there. We booked two of the four rooms they have. Rooms are spacious, cozy and very clean. Francesco is the sweetest and most wonderful host. He went over and beyond to help us plan our daily itinerary, provided precise GPS locations on where to park and where to sample authentic local food and gelato. His recommendations were always spot on. His sweet wife, Anita, cooks the most delicious Tuscan dishes and everyone in my family with age ranges from 6 to 80 polished off their plates every evening and went to bed very satisfied. I cannot recommend this farmhouse enough and I’m already thinking of revisiting it next summer. Until then, I can only dream of being here while savoring the olive oil and jams produced by them that I am bringing home.

Beautiful location in Tuscany. Near a small train station with access to Florence. But leaving is not always necessary, as Francesco and Anita take care of you during your entire stay. They welcome you and see to your needs, as well as feed you delicious food prepared just for you, including dietary restrictions. My wife and I stayed 3 days and traveled with our two small children. Our kids enjoyed swinging in the hammocks, playing in the pool, and watching Francesco’s chickens near his garden. My wife and I enjoyed being served breakfast and dinner each day. There is an outdoor covered patio and an indoor restaurant room. Francesco also gave us good advice on where to shop locally for food and wine, how to book train tickets, and how to make limoncello. The parking lot is a bit tight if your car is not small, but there is enough capacity for all guests’ cars. A pleasurable experience all around and would highly recommend.

Highly recommend a visit to Francesco and his team, who hosted our group of 15 adults plus a few kids for dinner in July 2023. Delicious food for the vegetarians and meat eaters, with home made olive oil and ingredients and wine sourced from local areas. Dinner was on a gorgeous outdoor terrace overlooking the garden, olive groves and valley. Francesco was a wonderful host - friendly, attentive and deeply passionate about their work and everything Tuscany has to offer.

We, a group of 16 friends, had a delightful dinner on a warm summer evening. Francesco, our host, was charming and had a remarkable ability to remember everyone's first names. The set menu offered two variations, one for vegetarians and one for meat eaters. The dishes were prepared with local ingredients and cooked to perfection. It was a lovely night, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food.

We had a very large group celebrating a birthday, and had the most amazing service and food from Francesco. The view is stunning, and Francesco (and co!) were all so warm and welcoming. Our favourite meal of the holiday - watch out for Bjorn and Lucky, the sweetest dogs in Tuscany!

We had an absolutely delicious dinner last night in the most beautiful surroundings. Francesco was so welcoming and attentive and the white wine they make there is fabulous! As is the olive oil. Highly recommended. Anna P

My girlfriend and me visited this place because we wanted to stay near Florence but not be inside of the city and have a relaxed place to stay from where we could commute relatively quickly.

Anita’s cooking and Francesco’s service was top notch. The food was one of the best we had during our stay in Tuscany. Everything was fresh and self made even the jam. Would recommend to anyone visiting Florence and looking for a great experience in the surroundings!

5 stars do not do justice to Franceso and Anita. What a lovely hosts who made us feel like family upon arrival and more so upon departure. The house is beautifully restored and close to Firenze. It offered us a comfortable base with our 2 kids. The food is excellent and plenty (that is an understatement!). Highly recommend!

A beautiful agroturismo with a peaceful atmosphere:) the apartment was extremely clean and very comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen. The food served at breakfast and dinner was delicious and an excellent introduction to traditional Italian cuisine! Francesco and Anita were warm and professional hosts, making our stay here a delight!

We had been there for dinner. Location is beautiful and Anita and Francesco are great hosts. You immediately feel welcome and the dining room in an ancient building, nicely decorated is beautiful. Dinner with a traditional four course menue was excellent!

Francesco and Anita are such generous and kind hosts, they immediately make you feel welcome. The property is beautiful, overlooking Francesco’s olive trees and the surroundings, and located only a 30 min train ride from Florence. Anita’s cooking is exceptional, so make sure to book your dinner reservations here. Highly recommended, we will definitely return on our next visit.

We travelled from Canada and were hoping for an authentic Tuscan experience and this was indeed that. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our conversations over dinner with other travellers from all over the world. Francesco and Anita are gracious hosts and fully take pride in the handcrafted olive oil they produce alongside their homemade jam, farm fresh eggs from their chickens and more! Anita prepares a daily set menu of authentic tuscan meals such as pastas, risotto, meat as well as homemade cakes, tiramisu and pannacotta . They are warm, friendly and passionate people delivering food created from the heart.

Wow, wow, wow, we spent quite some time in different areas of italy, a lot of hotels, agriturismi etc. but this one we really enjoyed the most. Francesco is super friendly and provides great service.
Anita does an amazing job, her dishes are excellent with regional and seasonal ingredients and also the quantity of food is more than enough.
The view is amazing, pool area is like a small paradise.
The Olive oil Francesco makes is super delicious.
There are plenty of nice hiking, mountainbiking spots around and the area is just really beautiful.
We will come back for sure, highly recommended

Beautiful place to stay, stunning views, amazing dinners, great hospitality and an escape from the touristy places. Highly recommended, a true gem.
