Lido Azzurro

Lido Azzurro, has a lovely sandy beach with shallow safe area to swim. 25 euros for the day for a umbrella and sun beds. There is a bar reasonably priced a bear and cocktail 12 euros. Toilets on the beach if required, food available at the main bar. 5 euros to sit on the beach without sun beds and umbrella. We took a taxi from the town 18 euros.

I came to Catania for a holiday and I wanted to go to a beach while I’m here and I went to check out Lido Azzurro and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are super nice they helped us a lot since we don’t speak Italian and the food here is rlly nice too as well as the sun beds and water. I’d say if you have any questions about Lido Azzurro that you didn’t understand on their website message them on WhatsApp and they will reply in like 5secs. I will definitely come here if I come to Catania again

Very nice and clean beach. The bar and restaurant offer good food options, so no need to bring food along.
The view on Etna is amazing and its very easy to get there either by car or bus.
They also have free showers, which is very much appreciated after being in the sea.

Beach itself is amazing! Huge area, nice bar, multiple beach volleyball courts, animation, music, etc. Everything you could ask for!

The beach here is perfect and clean. It is also the very close to the city. You can pay for umbrella and sunbeds, they have plenty of delicious drinks. I recommend it, definitelly worth to visit Enjoy :)

Nice sand beach, sunbeds vary in prices, around 14 euro. Not very crowded, just enough. :)

Wide, sandy beach with nice view of Catania and Mount Etna encompassing whole background 😉 Overall experience was positive - no frills but city centre proximity as an advantage.

I was actually next to this place without paying for sunbeds or umbrellas. The beach is nice and water clean unless you close to the port where you can find a lot of rubbish floating in the water or already on the beach. Disgusting how people destroy our environment

We swam at the free beach beside this. Just beautiful and the water was so warm. Bus service there was ok but ended up walking back. You have to buy tickets before getting on the bus as there is no way to purchase from the driver. We bought ours at the main bus stop. Great value at €1 per person per ride.

A genuine and great resort for having fun at the beach. Here you will find more italians than tourists playing the local games and having fun. Perfect for families with children or people who want an active beach day. Very helpful and positive staff, and good lunch.

Super nice place, good sunbads and umbrellas, the beach is clean, in the Blue zone you may order beverages and the servant will bring it.

Awesome, Sexy, well maintained beach in catania. Near to airport(10 mins with car) and city(10 mins from bus).
To reach lido azzurro, take bus# D from Piazza Borsellino bus station in catania. Bus ticket 1 euro per person available on the station from vending machine.
Employees at the reception(Marco and Jimmy) are too polite and helpful. They also helped us to get a cab to the Airport. Highly recommend !

Beautiful sandy beach. 4€ day ticket pP +sunbeds and umbrella. Not crowded at all and worth a visit if you are not a fan of pebble and stone beaches. Close by to Catania. 25+ minutes walk or 12 by car and parking right in front of the entrance for 2,50 all day!!!

Nice long wide beach area. I was outside the season and there were some trash spread around. But we have a great time!

Good quiet beach in Catania. You pay an entry fee of 25 including 2 beds and umbrella. Well organised and with good family environment.
Also kids park around, full lifesaving coverage and many places to buy snacks/drinks
Prices are ok.

Spacious, clean, friendly staff. Kids spent the whole day, can't wait to get back. Close to the city as well, so no hassle to get to it. Really tasty buffet, lots of choices, and reasonable prices.
