Absolutely beautiful day trip. We had an amazing tour of a beautiful vineyard and had an amazing meal paired with exquisite wines. The tour guide was awesome! The staff was beyond professional and attentive. Our meal was amazing! Be sure to book a tour with lunch included. You won’t be disappointed! The he history is incredible! Looking forward to doing it again next time!

We had a wonderful time on our tour of the winery. Our guide couldn't have been more passionate and taught our large group quite a lot. She truly made the wines accessible and provided some great tasting notes. We definitely recommend visiting!

Onvoorstelbaar. Incredible. We did many tours in different countries and drank a lot of wine and this is the best experience so far. The hostesses, the food, the view, the wine.. Gastronomy + hospitality in an amazing pair. I recommend everybody to go for the full experience with lunch! We’ll be back for the cooking courses because they are closed at the moment unfortunately.

Wow, what an awesome experience!! Set in a stunning location with beautiful buildings (and vineyards too 😀). Paul was a fabulous host, very knowledgeable and friendly, and helped us through the treacherous path of wine tasting. For those who enjoy fantastic wines, olive oils and a great service, do put this into your satnav.

We did the Grand Tour with lunch and absolutely loved it. The winery is beautiful and historic, giving a great look at the fields and cellars built in the 1800s. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we greatly enjoyed our time with her. Lunch was excellent as well. One of our favorite wineries we visited and highly recommend!

Wine is excellent! Tour was concise but insightful and they were thoughtful to provide everyone with fun parasols to help stay cool in the sun. But the best part of the visit was the lunch pairing which was INCREDIBLE. They view from your table is spectacular (also they have misters and fans for the hot summer days). They were generous with the pours and the food was Michelin star worthy. definitely sign up for the lunch if you are there. Also you get to try the vin santo with your choice of desserts!

Fantastic! We arrived with no reservation but were grated warmly and treated fantastic. Beautiful scenery, excellent samalie, excellent wine. Highly recommend

Absolutelly recommended. Very nice winery. Selection of typical vino mobile but also modern IGT creations. New even a Rosé. Lovely terrace and spacious tasting room / shop. We took a wine flight with 7 wines for 28 EUR, introduced by a very friendly, helpful team member of Avignonesi.
Tip: try the Vino Santi, it's just awesome. Also the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is very good.

We didn’t take the tour, but rather arrived without knowing much a about it and decided to take the 25 euro tasting at the restaurant. Delicious wines and great service. We loved learning more about the winery and its wines with Francesca. Definitely a must!

Excellent and knowledgeable tour guide, very educational and this particular vineyard is very innovative techniques and environmentally-friendly. The wine tasting was excellent with the added benefit of paying extra money for some very high-end wines during the tasting, but the extra money was very affordable compared to the cost of the wines. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a good wine tour in Tuscany

I visited Avignonesi last year and ate lunch with my family. I'm writing a review a year later because I honestly can't stop thinking about how amazing it was. The views from the dining area are drop dead gorgeous and the food is on par with the view. We made a last minute booking, the staff was very kind on the phone. They fit us in with a large group but they did not let us fall by the wayside. Even though they did not plan for us, the service and the food was spectacular. I suggest that you attempt to taste every wine and food pairing on the menu. It's easily done with three people; just pass the dishes and cups to your hearts desire then fight for you favorite! As far as the wine tour goes, it was not too long or complicated but you got to see some of the features that make the vineyard special like it's radial vineyard. Overall, an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful winery in Montepulciano that provides an incredible setting for an even more incredible offering of wines. Caterina was a lovely host who really made our experience memorable. Grazie mille!

Did the basic wine tasting tour and had a great time. Lots of info given. You get taste 4 wines (1 white & 3 reds) which is more than some other vineyards in the area. Pricing is competitive too. Personally I love the Chardonnay “Il Marzocco”!

Amazing experience. Was here in Oct 2022. Definitely sign up for the "Grand tasting experience" if you can. The tour was amazing - walk through some vineyards and explanations of their whole process and into the aging rooms. The tasting was incredible. Beyond delicious food (and lots of it). and you get to taste all of their wines which are very very good. We then shipped a case back to NY. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely experience at our wine tasting at Avignonesi winery. The grounds and facilities are incredible and the food board is over the top. The wines are a good variety of their offerings which everyone will find something to their liking. Our sommelier, Almudena, was amazing, fun, and answered all of our questions. Thank you for a memorable visit!

We did the grand experience, with delicious lunch and generous wines overlooking the vineyard. Beautiful place, love the ethos of biodynamics and respect to both nature and wine that is high quality. Very informative tour.

What a place!! The beautiful surroundings and the inviting buildings tell you that you're in for a treat. And you get even more than that. Not only do they produce some of the best wines in ... the universe - Grandi Annati; don't get me started - the staff has vast knowledge of the products and is very smiling, kind and helpful. When going there (and you really should) enjoy their lunch-board. We gladly drove 60 km just to taste it again. And we'll be coming back!
