La Trattoria del Pesce

This is by far the best Italian food I have eaten at. It’s been two weeks since I arrived Florence & have been struggling to find a good seafood restaurant. This restaurant surely did not disappoint me. The staff are very welcoming, cordial & very friendly. Received a warm welcome from the waitresses. They speak excellent English. Ate seafood risotto as my main course & semifreddo as desert which was recommended by the lovely waitress. This was the first time I ate this desert & believe me when I say it was absolutely delicious & so yummy. Full of nuts. Anyone visiting Florence who is a seafood lover should definitely visit this beautiful restaurant with great ambience & cleanliness. U surely will never leave disappointed.

This was by far a great unexpected experience .We were at Antinori vineyards and there were no openings for lunch. We sure ar happy because this meal was outstanding in every way . From staff to the outstanding food ! The fresh carpaccio del dia , the pastas were exquisite , and our fish magnificent ! Just perfect ! Don miss it if you are anywhere near by. Our waitress Cristina was so cordial and when we finished dining, we were the last couple in the restaurant , she gifted us a complimentary glass of vino . We had already had a bottle pino Grigio w our meal . I asked about a wonderful cracker bread they served and she came out with a bag to take with us ! Just an unforgettable exp ! We love when these adventures occurs ! Grazie milli !

This restaurant serves some of the best seafood I've ever tasted. My starter of baby octopus in sauce was delicious. Very accommodating staff as we arrived without a booking. The restaurant was quite busy but we were able to be seated on their outside terrace.
Serving staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely reccomend.

Very nice ambiance and art work upon entry. The Gran Piatto di Crudo was very fresh and presented artfully. From there the Rissoto al Frutti di Mare was the prefect blend of pasta and seafood. The Fritturi di Mare was perfectly seasoned, fresh, and light battered. The best meal I've had in Italy so far!

Amazing food and impeccable service! The baby octopus with polenta, fritto misto, and risotto were all fantastic but the service was the star! Thanks to Francesco and everyone for a wonderful dinner experience!

Buonissimo !! Perfect seafood restaurant of the highest quality. We have just finished lunch here in a group of 8 and the food and wine were perfecto!! Can't rate the staff highly enough as they were very personable and very helpful attending to our every desire!! Great job team. We will be back no doubt on our next journey from Australia. 😜

Excellent selection of seafood dishes. The portions veer on the side of large so order cautiously. In the antipasti, the polpo and the antipasti alla Trattoria were my favourite. For mains I had pasta al scoglio, delicious!

Located about 20 mins from Firenze down the Firenze-Siena superhighway. Essential to book since v popular even in low season. Enormous selection of fish and shellfish, incl oysters. Raw fish, prawns (incl red), mussels and clams if you like. Have eaten there several times and always a great success. Good, friendly, efficient service. If you like fish this has to be one of the best in the whole of Chianti.

Despite it being a busy Sunday lunch and we had no booking, we returned an hour later to gain a table. The wait was worth it. Delicately cooked seafood, attentive staff and the busy buzz made for a great meal.

Delicious & fresh seafood dishes combined with homemade pasta and risotto. Rather on the salty side. Great variety to choose from and good portions. Friendly staff.

I am stunt at the freshness of all the food here, my friends (10) are all so picky, and myself in a vegetarian, this is the first meal I've had that was so delicious, my veggies where absolutly tasteful!!!

Excellent food BIG portions ordered an appetizer and Primi and struggled to finish YET still had desert - thats how good

We visited this resturant while visiting Chianti near Florence. The service was amazing and the food was wonderful. Beautiful restaurant.

Main Theme Is Fish. Excellent food,very well presented. Not cheap,but good value for the quality.
