Incredible stay in an amazing place - very special. And wonderful hosts.
We came across the hostel by chance - and so glad we did. The hiking in the area is incredible - untouched and so remote. I would highly recommend it.

The hostel is great whether you are a single person, family or group. The place has amazing history - it was originally built in 1796 - but was then completely renovated in 2000.

Our rate included breakfast and we had meals there 2 of the nights. Nico is a great cook and we very well looked after.

The hostel has lots to offer - from helpful information on hiking in the area to massages to beers, wine & so on. Posting here a couple of photos of the hostel - as well as some pictures of hiking in the area.

La Batise was beautiful. The road up the valley was breathtaking and the villages along the way reminded me of simpler times. The family that runs the hostel were so welcoming and relaxed. They have young kids which gave the hostel a great energy and warmth. It is the perfect balance of old alp styling and modern comforts. The bathrooms are large and very clean. The rooms are nice and beds are cozy. In the morning the owner gave us directions to Milan and gave us some advice on travel plans so and how to get into the city and where to park our car. It was an all around pleasant experience and I can't wait until I get to go back to visit again.

Lovely old hostel building. Village is small and services there very scarce. But hostel is very nice, kitchen is good and scenery ... well, it's magnifique.

Great hostel, managed by friendly people in a cosy little town!

Struttura bella ed accogliente, camera e bagni puliti e buona cucina. Il gestore è stato gentilissimo e sempre disponibile .soggiorno di 6 giorni piacevolissimo .

Io e un'amica abbiamo soggiornato qui una notte durante il cammino dell'Alta Via 1. Che dire, accoglienza familiare e calorosa, struttura davvero molto bella e pulita, buon cibo. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Posto accogliente, staff disponibile, cibo ottimo e grande quantità sentieri percorribili.

Ostello in una casa di origini medievali completamente ristrutturato, bellissima posizione con molte camminate nei dintorni, gestore molto disponibile, cibo curato e gustoso

Situato in una valle magnifica accoglienza, cibo e pulizia camere incantevole, famiglia che gestisce magnifica e le due pipette che girano per l’ostello sono meravigliose, consigliatissimo!

Ambiente molto pulito, buona cucina e soprattutto io e i miei amici siamo rimasti contenti dell' ambiente familiare e alla mano insomma i gestori sono brave persone ve lo consiglio.
