Fantastic experience all around. Perfect location after having visited the cathedral. The food was top-notch, they have multiple vegetarian options that aren’t repetitive or boring (which is surprisingly hard to find in Sicily!), the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and gave us great wine recommendations! The price was more than reasonable for the food, wine, dessert and coffee. The atmosphere feels so cozy and we left feeling so glad we found this place. Would definitely recommend!

We went here a couple of times while staying in Monreale. The restaurant itself is very pleasant. The food was wonderful! I especially liked pasta with pistachio pesto, dried tomatoes, and stracciatella - this is something you should absolutely give a try! They use Busiate which is a Sicilian type of pasta that looks like a wide spring. And it works so well with all pesto/puree-like things, as it all stays on pasta pieces. The pasta was heavy and filling so you can be happy just with one dish here. They recommended some local wines, and all of them tasted great. Stuff doesn't speak English much, but you still can get an English menu and order what you want :)

Everything was perfect. You need to try pistachio pesto pasta. It's delicious! It's one of the best meals I've had in Sicily.

Excellent spot if you want to enjoy dinner at a local, family-owned business. You can really feel the family vibes and their care for hospitality! It's the best place to go for either lunch or dinner—no brainer!

Most amazing Ragu I’ve had in all of Sicily! The meat was so tender and I’m still dreaming about it. Food was great and service was exceptional. Run, don’t walk!

This place is gem just outside the cathedral but not on the main touristic streets. It was just delicious (we had various pasta and meats and a outstanding rice based dessert: arancine pistaccio) The staff is super friendly and the various rooms are decorated with a lot of taste but in a creative way ( do not forget to check out the bathroom, our kids did not want to leave it 😂). And all of this for a very fair price. Thank you for a great lunch (in a well tuned air conditioning)

We’ve been in Sicily for over a week now and so far this has been our favorite restaurant. We were not planning to have lunch in Monreale but we saw it and it look cozy but traditional at the same time; we checked the reviews and they were not mistaken.
Incredible pasta (we ordered “alla Norma” and pasta with ricotta and pistachio) and amazing cannolo as dessert.

We took antipasti plate (the first one on the menu), Pasta ai ricci (sea urchin), and pasta con salsiccia (sausage). All dishes were wonderful. I particularly liked the antipasti plate 🥰 bruschetta with ricotta and tomato 🍅 included in this antipasti plate was really delicious 🥰 You could find the real quality of fresh pasta 🍝😊♥

This place is a blast. We stopped for a light lunch as the Cathedral was closed for lunch. The decor is fun and well done, really creative and fanciful. The food was varied and really good. Service was attentive even when they were busy.

The food was nice and filling, prices were ok. Traditional dishes in a funky, fun, colourful setting, I really liked the interior. Waiters were quick and kind enough to serve us despite it almost being closing time.

Definitely the best pasta we had during three weeks in Italy. We got the pasta a la norma and the pistachio pesto pasta, and both were amazing. Would give anything to have a plate of either now....

This is an excellent place for dining. It is away from the major tourist area so very quiet and authentic Sicilan! Our young lady was so kind and efficient and we were able to converse in English. She explained all of our appetizers and could not do enough for us. The osteria was full of memorabilia and had loads of charm and atmosphere!!
Would love to dine there regularly and hope to one day return!!

Me and my girlfriend just had a very nice food experience in this restaurant. The food was nice and very well prepared. The restaurant is a type of cellar so even with a super warm day outside, inside was very pleasant. Music was also a nice addition to the meal. Recommend.

Two steps from the breathtaking Cathedral, sited in an handsome road, you can enjoy the Monreale atmosphere proving a great selection of tasty dishes accompanied by well spilt beers and wines. Throughout the cuisine is specialised in Sicilian one, no trouble are made in food selection thanks to the kindness of the staff. Strongly suggested

Best fresh pasta we had in Sicily. Such comfort food. We sat outside and enjoyed the view looking out at the mountains. Friendly staff and the gelato was amazing.

Absolutely fantastic! Food is delicious, atmosphere is unique, warm friendly and some one likes to collect music and old albums. Pasta with pistachio pesto is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. It's creamier than a pesto. Wonderful evening experience, lots of wine choices as well

This is now in my top places, with an amazing experience!! I initially saw a rating of 4.7 and TripAdvisor recommending it so I had to try.

The location is super nice both inside and outside and nonetheless super clean!
The staff is super kind, I loved it!

But the best thing is the food: great selection of first and second courses but the pasta is out of this world. Very large quantities and a great taste, usually pasta with pistacchio can be very disappointing but this was simply perfect in everything but we were in 5 end everyone agreed that all was perfect!!!

I will definitely come back everytime we're back here and invite more and more people to try it, they deserve it!
