The dinner, with Gabriel the awesome sommelier and a chef that whips up all sorts of delicious local cuisine that is filled with love and creativity is awe inspiring!

Amazing hotel and position. Real 5 stars hotel. Position is amazing if you travel for culinary and wine reasons. in the middle of Roero and few km from Alba, Barolo and Barbaresco.

One of the amazing treasures of the region. It’s a castle converted partially into a hotel. Perched on a hill top and looks around all the directions. Has fabulous views and amnesties of a five star hotel. The service is exquisite. Each of the person has an unique personality which add tremendously to an unique experience. The gardens are beautiful and the village surrounding it is nice to walk in. A rare place I’d come back to

I am not sure which part was a better experience. The hotel or the staff. Matteo was incredible. He educated us on the area and the wines that we were drinking. The bar staff was great and very knowledgeable also about the wines. We loved the fact that we could order amazing wines by the glass at lunch time... before we went to taste but still return to the hotel for dinner and still be presented with an amazing wine list by the bottle. I am embarrassed that I don't remember the lady's name who served us lunch on the first day and greeted us warmly every morning for breakfast but we loved her too! The whole team was great. Our room was amazing. We were supposed to be in Italy for 1 week but work called us back after 3 nights and thanks to your hotel and the team there, we did not feel cheated out of our full stay in Italy. We came home rested and relaxed as if we were gone for the full week.

We absolutely loved this magnificent hotel/palazzo. We have been lucky enough to have stayed in some amazing hotels around the world and can honestly say that this one was truly special and rates as maybe the top hotel experience of our travels so far.
The building itself is so beautiful and special from its position perched on top the hill offering true 360 degree panoramic views of the entire area to its gardens and amazing interior.
The intimacy of such a small hotel with such opulent surroundings creates a very unique experience for a guest and one that we really loved.
The staff are all so friendly and informative and obviously share the passion and pride for the entire facility themselves which really shows.
We cant wait to come back and have already shared and recommended to our friends.

We absolutely loved this property! If you would like to feel like a King/Queen, then take the time to stay here for at least a few nights. The rooms are amazing and the staff is top-notch. The location is on top of a hill overlooking the famous Langhe area. It was like looking at a postcard every time I looked at the window. They have a wonderful breakfast in the morning with a beautiful sparkling wine produced from the region. We never wanted to leave here and will definitely return. You can eat at the restaurant in the Castello, which we really enjoyed or walk to the small town of Guarene and eat at the Osteria, which was also excellent.

The hotel was absolutely amazing. The garden was beautiful and well maintained. The staff went above and beyond to help with anything we needed and everyone was very friendly. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and the bed was quite comfortable.

Beautiful settings, excellent breakfast. Rooms are beautifully restored. A bit on the noisy side if people are walking or chatting in the corridors. Splendid gardens and lovely views on the vineyards.

The venue is incredibly beautiful and creates the perfect setting for a wedding with a royal feeling.

All our guest was taken back by the exclusive feeling of the Castello. Everything was beyond what we could wish for. Food was delicious, service was on point and the General Manager Giuseppe Dell’erba ensures everything to run smoothly.

Being able to stay at Castello di Guarene was a dream come true. You feel transported back in time and also treated as royalty. The staff, cleanliness, food, and overall experience are exceptional! Would love to return some day!

Exceptional spa, breakfast, and service, beautiful castle filled with thousands of antiques and paintings from the 1700s and earlier. The restaurant is very good value. A rare gem! We will definitely be back!
TIP: Ask for a mattress topper if you like a soft bed.

Beautiful antique castle, fully renovated to best standards. Amazing experience, lovely staff, a spa to die for. Special cushion, bowls, and dog food in the room, to welcome our dog! Never experienced this in another 5* - fantastic.

We LOVED Castello Guarene. It exceeded our exceptions in every aspect. The building and rooms were beautiful, the staff was completely gracious, the gardens provided a wonderful opportunity to relax and take in the amazing views and the common areas were inviting. We sat by the fire in the evening and enjoyed the roasted chestnuts. What hotel roasts chestnuts for the guests? The dining experience was equally impressive starting with breakfast with an extensive array of options (including a honeycomb with fresh honey!), a lovely lunch in the "casual" bistro which is a stunning room and dinner in the formal dining room with the traditional menu. Rita, Simone, and everyone made us feel at home. Can't wait to return!

Really lovely place, great welcome and fantastic food. Staff were all wonderful and the spa was good. Quite busy as it was holiday time but really great. Would recommend this place for anyone looming for some great views, good wine, great food and a time to relax.

We spent a couple of days here a while ago, and it was really like nothing else we've ever experienced. From the absolutely stunning welcome to the excellent staff and breathtaking rooms everything is just out of this world. If you can afford it, book it.

Exclusive experience in this castel transformed in a hotel. Luxury and relax. The hall, in medieval style, is huge with confortable sofà, a piano and pool table. The spa and wellness area offer a swimming pool, steam room, sauna and massages. Breathless view of Langhe. The rooms are beautiful and in ‘700 style. The restaurant offer very good food. Fantastic!

The most luxurious experience we have ever had. We were literally temporarily living in a museum. When you walk through the doors it's like stepping back in time. You'll have to see for yourself because it is indescribable!
