MAX Hotel Livorno

One night stay on our way from Corsica to Milan. Room was great, though couldn’t work out how to use the plug in the hand basin! Staff were delightful.

My room was very spacious and very clean, the staff was very accommodating and helpful and some spoke English. The restaurant was very friendly and a relaxing atmosphere, the food was great, the breakfast was pretty and filling, the parking was public street parking with underground parking also but all was none secured parking with plenty of light wood definitely come back again. Great hotel. Clean, modern and close to the highway. I appreciated the fast WiFi to enable work, and the restaurant (and the manager) was a welcomed surprise.

Usually a hotel restaurant isn’t the best, but the restaurant at the Max is the “max”. Great place and great atmosphere. Excellent food, very well prepared.

This hotel is popular, so make your reservation early, as they are usually booked.

Very nice and friendly staff. Room was a nice size. Bathroom was AMAZING! Shower nice and hot. Bed was super comfortable. Stuff in the fridge is a very decent price. They will even do laundry for you. The breakfast was also really good. The only small problem was the outlet was loose so the charger kept falling out, and needed to be propped up to stay in.

O-M-G - clean - efficient staff from check-in and throughout the stay. Restaurant and hotel is kept CLEAN! We stayed in a spacious room - for 3 weeks and this has to be the BEST 4 star hotel we've experienced. From Check-in wi footh Francesca, superior help from Talita and Francesca at the front desk, support from the General manager when we had questions and a housekeeping and breakfast staff who are the BEST ! Special thanks to Anna and Armida for how CLEAN our room was kept every day. Breakfast staff Irene and Costanza were also GREAT! The entire hotel is clean and kept clean by a staff that really cares to show hospitality and a clean environment. 5 STARS !

A beautiful hotel! The rooms are big and exceptionally clean. The service staff is very caring. Also worth noting is the delicious breakfast.

We didn't end up getting a room at the Hotel Max but what they ended up doing for us weary travelers was amazing. We ran into an issue with our travel to go on a cruise leaving from Rome. When we arrived in Livorno it was 3am and we had nowhere to stay until we met up with the ship in port at 8am. We arrived at the Hotel Max to get a room and maybe get some sleep. Max told us there were no rooms available. After seeing the state of our party and how horrible of a situation we were in he did everything he could to help us and make us comfortable. He let all 8 of us stay in the lobby, allowed us bathroom access, gave us water bottles, and snacks. He called to taxi companies to arrange transport for us (including two people in wheelchairs). Francesca in the morning helped us do the final call for the Taxi and helped us all get everything into the cars. Can't thank them enough for their generosity during a horrible time in our trip.
