Grand Hotel Palazzo - Livorno

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel Palazzo in Livorno, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning view. The hotel itself is a perfect blend of historic elegance and modern comfort. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, and offer breathtaking views.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure every need was met, making my stay truly unforgettable. The hotel's restaurant served delicious cuisine. Whether you're visiting Livorno for business or leisure, I highly recommend Grand Hotel Palazzo for its impeccable service, luxurious accommodations, and prime location.

Very smart older style hotel living and thriving on its long history. The service and style is second to none. As well as top notch spa amenities. We had a super high class meal in their roof top restaurant too. My picture is the view from this restaurant.

We weren‘t guests at this famous Hotel with great view to the sea. But we can honestly can recommended the friendly and helpful staff. Thanks for printing our tickets

A truly beautiful place and great atmosphere, with excellent service and great location.
Fabiana, the breakfast and restaurant’s hostess, truly provides an exquisite service, turning every meal into a beautiful and fun experience.
Gaia, from the reception, provides a check-in and check-out experience, as well as assisting in one’s necessities, in a smooth, polite and very professional manner.

Uniq place face to the sea with a classic design and a dolce vita mood😊. Zero modern gadgets, but a perfect service on reception. Breakfast little bit expensive considering additional costs, but it’s up to the guests to pay or not. Worth any cent😎

We had cocktails at the top bar and SPA loved it.
We also enjoyed the breakfast choices great coffee and salty options.
They upgraded our room to a Suite and it was a real treat ! Also we celebrated our anniversary and they helped with Prosecco and Chocolate for us!

Superbly located, refined hotel with the highest level of service, for which nothing is impossible. Particularly noteworthy is Manager Marco, who not only manages the staff brilliantly, but is also extremely helpful and flexible. During our stay we were served superbly at a very attractive price! We were accompanied by excellent cousine! We have wonderful memories! We highly recommend!

It is a great building and position.
Services are good and prices are fair.

Beautiful hotel, great service! Would book again

Was upgraded to a jr suite with a free welcome drink (wine). Beautiful interior with high ceilings. The sea view was amazing. Lovely rooftop pool. The restaurant on the roof was a different company so you couldn’t put the bill on the room. They have a deal with a beach resort 20 minutes away to get a discount on a covered seat.

Great “old world” charm hotel located directly across from the seashore. A very good restaurant is conveniently located on the rooftop of the hotel, fresh sea food, amazing views, attentive service, unforgettable ambiance.

Lovely luxury hotel.
Although we only had a classic room, it was very spacious with a good size bathroom and sea views.
My only negative comment would be that the base of the shower cubicle is some kind of plastic decking and it moves about and creaks and just isn't in keeping with the rest of this gorgeous hotel.
Staff were lovely and what really made our stay even more special was the front desk granting us a late check out to suit our late departing flight.
Breakfast was a lovely continental offering which we took on the balcony overlooking the sea.
Time at the rooftop pool and sun deck was the perfect end to our Tuscany holiday.
So pleased we stayed here and we'd both recommend and hope to return soon.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic service. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room is very clean. The view from the bar overlooking the ocean is just stunning! Well worth enjoying a meal and sundowner whilst watching the sun set.

They are so welcome,make as a gift a Proseco for birthday,the room is clean with a wonderfull view.We try also dhe spa center its nice.

I always come back to the restaurant and bar. Have been here already 3 times, and all of those times drove for 1 hour either from Florence, Pisa and this time from Forte Dei Marmi. The Personnel is gentle. Infinity pool amazing, cocktails great.

I don’t remember everybody’s name, but the barmen Elia makes cocktails with heart ♥

Also Victoria in the bar has been very gentle and the gentleman near the entrance.

So thanks for making us feel good regardless our tired journey.

Mixed reception on arrival seems we weren’t meant to need a car parking space ( all sorted just €18 p day)
Pack hangers for the wardrobe - a double room has 9 only & forget evening gowns ladies - wardrobe only enough height for 4’ tall people ( odd when the rooms have a 4 metre ceiling)- Doors 2.2m height clearance

Excellent food in Resturant & enthusiastic bar service ( many €€€€€€€ Aperol spritz €15)
Includes West coast sunset.

Ultimately it’s the waitering staff and room make up staff that make this Hotel Enjoyable - not able to name all but Andrea was at his station in the entrance - instantly completed my recovery of a lost wallet ‘on a beach’ - a Hero-

Staying in one and only 5-star hotel in Livorno,
deciding last-minute,
arriving after midnight to the old, but well reconstructed, Palace by the sea,
being checked-in by a welcoming FO Night Manager,
having upgrade to the one of the most fantastic rooms I’ve seen in my life:
with huuuuge balcony, overlooking sea, ships, Terrazza Mascagni, Lighthouse far away…
having gorgeous breakfast with a variety of choices for every taste,
then having a quick dip in the rooftop pool.

Was I dreaming? Seems like that.
Definitely the best option in Livorno (also with a gym).

Stunning. Beautiful, elegant hotel and our room was huge and gorgeous, with a massive bed with the softest sheets and pillows. Bathroom was tasteful with a deep bath. The views of the ocean from the balcony are breathtaking.
The staff upgraded us as it was our honeymoon and helped us fix some complications, even making phone calls on our behalf. The roof terrace is lovely for a drink but sadly the pool was closed for renovation during our stay. Cocktails were nice but not very boozy.
We had a 50 minute massage in the spa which included access to the thermal baths gor 150 Euro, which I thought reasonable. Not a deep tissue massage but lovely. The sauna wasn't hot enough for my tastes and there was no steam in the steam room, but the pool was gorgeous and warm with various bubble features. Truly one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Shame it's in Livorno as not the prettiest place in the world, but worth travelling for the hotel and you're handy for any number of ferries to the islands.

Beautiful hotel located only a few hundred feet from the ocean. Ocean view rooms feature a stunning view and are well worth the cost. The rooms themselves are not very large, but this is to be expected.

Complimentary breakfast in the morning is well prepared. The staff check in frequently to ask if there is anything we need.

The front desk is very helpful and attentive. They made us feel very comfortable and attended our needs as we traveled with our infant daughter.

The in-house restaurant located on the hotel roof is fantastic. Very high quality food and drink at a reasonable price.
