I can't speak on hiking as I only walked the promenade, and hey, it was beautiful. The Athena monument was stunning and I loved the sculptures on the garden side.

Very nice walk. the unique tropical trees are all around. parfumes of flowers....and the super view on the sicily strait is fabulous. Cesare ice cream is the first, superb.....delirious for every palate. you must prove brioche with inside ice cream......it's wow!

Great place for a walk.You get a gorgeous view of Sicily and the place is very romantic especially at night!

Probably the nicest seafront promenade in Italy. If you are in the nearbies, don't forget to have a stroll here. Wonderful in the early morning and on sunset.
