Farmhouse Val di Boccio

We loved our stay here. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with happy animals everywhere you look, and the lovely Lucia spoiled us with a fantastic evening meal each night of our stay. The rooms are simple and clean, and we were lucky enough to be able to relax by the pool. Thanks Massimo and Lucia 😍

This place is wonderful. The setting is drop-dead gorgeous; the animals, pool, farmhouse, and surrounding towns and villages are a delight. But what makes it stand head and shoulders above other places are the lovely hosts, Lucia and Massimo. They look after the place brilliantly and exude happiness and warmth, not to mention Lucia's excellent cooking.
You'll struggle to find a happier place than the terrace of visitors from across Europe, enjoying their evening meal and chatting as the daylight falls. Book it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Val di Boccio. The nice pool, beautiful view and the diners and hospitality of Lucia and Massimo. After four weeks of holiday our kids told us there highlight was our week at Val di Boccio. They loved playing around with the other kids, the donkeys and the cats.

Cannot say enough good things about the place. The communal food served at 8:30 is phenomenal, the grounds beautiful, the pool fantastic and animal (especially cats) sweet and playful. We were there for 7 nights with two girls, almost 5 and 7 and we loved it. Very strong recommendation. Get the small house apartment og the “Gelsomino” room when you go.

What an amazing place! Would highly recommend as a base for both families and couples to explore Umbria. A wonderful place to stop and relax. It was fun feeding the donkeys and goats and playing with the cats and also enjoyed some wonderful homemade meals by Lucia and Massimo. The best gnocchi ever!! We hope to return!! Thank you so much for some amazing memories.

Our 7-night stay at Val di Boccio exceeded all expectaions.

Starting from when we first arrived, we were impressed with a gorgeous view of the hills from the farmhouse.

We booked the self-contained apartment with a kitchenette, which allowed us the freedom to dine in on a few occasions.

We were truly spoiled with delicious dinners made with ingredients grown at the farm and at the hand of the excellent cooking skills of Lucia.

Having booked our week during the hottest time of the summer with 40+ degree weather, we took much needed respite from the heat at the swimming pool. They also had a smaller wading pool, perfect for our pre-school-aged daughter.

It is evident that much care was put into making this place so comfortable for its guests.

We thank Massimo, Lucia and your friendly staff for making our stay so comfortable.

One I forgot to review.

This place was amazing. Stayed here in May 2019 with the family. We had a great stay and the hosts were exceptional. We were a little unlucky hitting particularly unseasonal bad weather but we enjoyed our stay non the less.

Perfect for families.

We just spent two weeks at Val di Boccio and can’t decide what we loved best - the fabulous dinners, walks in the idyllic setting, generous and pristine pool, visits to feed the donkeys, the kids playground, the playful twin kittens? All came together to make a perfect stay for our young family. Many of the families we met come every year and one Italian guest even shyly admitted the food was better than his mother’s! Day trips to Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio were another treat. Local shops are a short drive away and there are good facilities to prepare your own lunches as well as for laundry. Massimo and Lucia work very hard to make each stay special. Particularly with Covid restrictions a few changes have been made to keep everyone safe but everything has been done to maximise fun and relaxation in truly breathtaking surroundings.

This is an amazing and authentic place. The location and view is fantastic, and the atmosphere is great and relaxing. The food you get is amazing - authentic and home made, like you dream of. The place is own by some young and fantastic people.This place can higly be recommended!

Excellent stay! Friendly animals, wonderfull food, beautyfull landscape and good location for trips to the surrounding cities. Highly reccomended!

It's tranquillity and swimming pool

Bellissima location immersa nel verde dell'umbria tra Gubbio e Assisi. Perfetta per chi cerca pace e relax. Tutto è tenuto con estrema cura. Le camere spaziose, confortevoli e pulitissime. La piscina è molto grande e curata. Il panorama mozzafiato.
A dare un valore aggiunto a questo posto meraviglioso sono i proprietari, Lucia e Massimo, due persone squisite e appassionate del loro lavoro. Ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Lucia oltretutto è una cuoca eccezionale. Vi consiglio la sera di cenare qui. Propone piatti della cucina locale fatti in casa con prodotti del loro territorio.Tutto buonissimo. La colazione ottima con buonissime torte e marmellate fatte in casa.
Siamo stati benissimo! Consigliatissimo.

Immerso nel verde umbro, l'agriturismo Val di Boccio è un paradiso per il relax. Accolti con calore dai proprietari Massimo e Lucia, abbiamo soggiornato in una stanza confortevole con vista mozzafiato.
La cucina è eccezionale con prodotti freschi e tipici.
Posizione strategica per visitare borghi e città come Gubbio, Assisi e Perugia.
Io e la mia famiglia (cane compreso) ci siamo trovati benissimo.
L'Umbria è stupenda!

Esperienza fantastica, posto bellissimo ben curato, Massimo e Lucia gentilissimi e sempre disponibili, si mangia divinamente e specialmente pietanze locali.
Lo consiglio assolutamente x una vacanza memorabile.
Noi abbiamo passato solo 4 giorni, ma ci torneremo.

Agriturismo bellissimo, oltre le aspettative. Immerso nella natura, con un panorama da cartolina, accolti dalla gentilezza e disponibilità dei proprietari. Lo consiglio a chi voglia staccare dalla frenesia della quotidianità. Cucina ottima!

Bellissimo agriturismo nel verde delle colline Umbre. Si respira natura, splendido panorama, bastano poche ore per rilassarsi. Stanze e appartamenti rustici, ben arredati e molto puliti. Posizione ottima per visitare città come Assisi, Gubbio e Perugia da cui dista poco più di mezz'ora. Massimo e Lucia ti accolgono con estrema simpatia e disponibilità, fino a farti sentire quasi in famiglia. Ottime cene e colazioni con piatti tipici e a km zero, torte e marmellate fatte in casa. Un'esperienza da favola: non crediamo che in poche righe si possa riassumere il nostro soggiorno. Agriturismo Val di Boccio e' una perfetta location per chi vuole trascorrere qualche giorno di relax e disconnessione nella natura, ma anche come punto d appoggio per visitare le citta' principali dell'Umbria (Gubbio, Perugia e Assisi distano a circa 30 minuti di macchina dall'agriturismo). Massimo e Lucia son dei fantastici gestori: ci hanno accolto sin da subito con gentilezza e simpatia, consigliandoci anche alcuni luoghi meno comuni da visitare. Impossibile non citare le cene in agriturismo: di qualità, abbandonanti ed allo stesso tempo delicate, con piatti a base di prodotti tipici del posto e della tradizione (lasagne al tartufo, gnocchi tartufo e fiori di zucca, salsiccia all'uva, pappardelle al cinghiale ecc). Cracco scansati. Anche la colazione e' ottima, anche qui con prodotti dell'agriturismo come marmellate di vario tipo ecc. La piscina (con idromassaggio) e' perfetta per una giornata di riposo, o anche per rilassarsi a fine giornata. Insomma, voto 10 e lode e grandi complimenti a Massimo e Lucia!

Un luogo di pace dove ci siamo anche divertiti tanto grazie alla piscina e alla presenza di tanti animali, ai quali si può dar da mangiare con i bambini. Ambienti curati e puliti, staff gentile e attento ad ogni singolo ospite. La cucina è ottima. Consigliato!!

Half oktober hebben wij, samen met onze twee kinderen, 1 en 3, en paar dagen hier geslapen. Het was geweldig! De gastvrijheid van Lucia en Massimo zijn hartverwarmend. Prachtige omgeving, heerlijk eten, dieren die gevoed kunnen worden! Keuken equipment is basic. Veel leuke dorpen en steden op rij afstand. Zeker een aanrader, we hebben een heerlijke week gehad!

È stata una bella scoperta questo agriturismo sulle colline umbre. Il luogo è molto bello e panoramico, in mezzo al verde ed i boschi, con una struttura rustica e ben curata, dotato anche di piscina, anche se non è stato possibile sfruttarla durante il nostro soggiorno nel ponte dei Santi. La nostra camera era spaziosa, confortevole ed arredata con la cura tipica di un agriturismo. Molto gentili e simpatici i proprietari, Massimo e Lucia che ci hanno consenso di avere un soggiorno molto piacevole, con una menzione particolare per le cene preparate da Lucia, ad uso esclusivo degli ospiti, veramente molto buone ed abbondanti. Molto buona anche la colazione, con tutto ciò che ci si può aspettare da un agriturismo comprese torte e marmellate fatte in casa. Un posto da consigliare per soggiornare nella natura e per visitare l'Umbria dove torneremo molto volentieri se ci sarà l'occasione.
