At the reception they were very helpful and spoke English and French. The same for the service at the breakfast which was very good.

The location is perfect.

Loved the location with views of the castle and the boats. It is the perfect jumping off point for many beautiful places in western Sicily. We stayed 15 days during a 10 day tour with You, Me and Sicily taking extra days to search out my college roommate’s roots. The staff is very accommodating. They made me feel like family.

What a wonderful hotel! The location could be out of a movie: right in front of the old harbor with small fishing boats. The staff was very helpful in showing us around and giving travel tips. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of local specialities.

What a fantastic place to stay! In early November, my girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at Cala Marina. I'm not one to write reviews often, but as we were reminiscing about our trips and going through our photos, it became clear that this hotel deserves nothing but praise.

During our travels throughout Sicily, we stayed in various types of accommodations, but Cala Marina surpassed our expectations by a long shot. It's a charming establishment situated in the lovely town of Castellammare del Golfo. Despite our late arrival, we received a warm welcome and all the information we needed.

The staff, in general, are exceptionally kind and always ready to assist. They helped us plan our evenings, find great dining options, arrange running and boat tours, and more. The breakfast experience was simply outstanding! You have a wide selection of local and international pastries, bread, eggs, and more to choose from. The delightful lady overseeing breakfast provides a warm welcome and explanations for all the food choices.

We sat on the sunny terrace, enjoying our breakfast while overlooking the port. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone. It left us with a heartwarming feeling when we look back on our stay.

Hi, so we did a round trip over Sicily and this hotel by far has exceeded our expectations. We were in many different hotels of higher or same price points. Breakfast with real variety and thinking in international preferences, service outstanding and not only attending until 8 pm as many places in Sicily, clean rooms, outstanding location and recommendations, and the mattress was very comfortable. Top points on the kind personnel, especially the lady who prepares the typical sweets for the breakfast, she even takes time to explain you what is each thing.

We were super happy with our stay here. Great service, one of the best breakfasts we had in Sicily, very clean and cozy room with ocean view. They also helped us finding a parking spot right next to the hotel.

Beautiful area and amazing location by the water. Many restaurants and small shops within close walking distance. Hotel is very clean and quiet and the staff is very friendly and helpful. All the staff speaks English also. Spectacular views from all around the area. Highly recommended.

The best hotel to stay for amazing Sicilian holidays! First of all the staff is so friendly and nice that you feel like at home, you don't have to worry, they will help you with anything. The room is very nice, spacious, clean and the view from the balcony is simply amazing. Breakfast is delicious and it is not only sweet breakfast there is more to choose from. I'm very happy that I've chosen this place!

The best hotel staff in Sicily!
They are super friendly and helpful and doing the extra step to make you happy! The breakfast has good quality local products and variety of choices. The location is great as the street is calm but you are right in the center of everything nice. I would definitely stay again and longer!

The outside air-conditioning unit is bit noisy but everything else was just amazing!

Very nice small hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and Claudia welcomed us very friendly. She gave us many advice e.g. free parking spots and made restaurant suggestions. They even offered us to shower after a boat trip even though we didn't have a room anymore because we were about to head to the airport. Our room was big, had a view from the balcony and was very clean. Very convenient location of the hotel at the harbor. 5min walk to get anywhere in town which is a very cute one with lots of great dining options.

The Hotel is clean, very well maintained throughout. We driven up from Malta I like to park without stress and ease, they have a parking area next to the Hotel with entry and exit via parking barrier, cost €8.00 per night, which was responsible. Breakfast was adequate and enjoyable. Enjoyed chilling on the open terrace in front of the hotel over looking the port, commanding arguably the best of any accommodation, it is so conveniently located to really enjoy this beautiful area to the fullest.

Would I go back? Without hesitation, I was disappointed to leave. Loved Castellamere and this superb Hotel.

Top 3* Hotel! Perfect location - top view to the harbour. Nice hotel staff, they help by any problems or questions. One of the girls at the reception speaks also perfect german.
