Good place to try the classics of Piemonte. Vitel tonnè. Agnolotti. Bunet. Nice terrace in the old town of Moncalvo.

I had Topside beef with tuna sauce, and it was very delicious. It was the advice of the host from whom I rented the house because this area is famous for its meat more than anything else. I took the waiter's recommendation and enjoyed in the exquisite Bonzano Gajard wine, delighting in its deliciousness. I have a penchant for savoring local flavors, both in food and drink. I recommend it.

Great place with fantastic Piedmontese food, pretty large portions in outstanding decorations.

A local restaurant in Moncalvo worth a detour! The food is well prepared, absolutely delicious and presented in a very appealing way. We loved the whole experience, except the service that seemed a bit unorganised. Nevertheless we highly recommend a visit.

We went here for lunch with a group of four people. We all got primi & secundi piatti and ordered one bottle of white wine. Afterwards we all went for coffee. There were two bottles of water on the table, one still and one sparkling. Very nice that this is already there! Our total bill came down to 132 euro. Great value, given the fantastic food we had.
The vegetable soup with beans, bread and Parmeggiano was excellent. A couple of us went for the suggestions: asparagus with truffle and freshly made pasta with egg and truffle. Very good.
The service throughout the meal was very good and professional.
All in all we liked this place a lot.
Minor points of improvement: when telling about the suggestions it would be nice to also mention the price. The bill could be a little more detailed, now it just reads primitive piatti, varia, etc...

Been wandering in Monferrato for a couple of days and everyone recommended to have dinner here even if apparently it's not that easy to get a table.
This being said, expectations were very high!

Unfortunately the wine we picked, was sold out, but we chose another one and everything was fine.

Food was lovely and delicious. We had starter, main course and dessert.

Everything was amazing!

If I go back to Monferrafo, i will definitely go back! 🎈

Very tasty authentic regional food with respect of seasonal ingredients. Quite small restaurant with two rooms available, back room with a beautiful view on Monferrato hills. Medium priced.

Had an amazing dinner at Corona Reale on Saturday night. I arrived early and was seated before the crowds came in. I sat on the second floor overlooking the piazza. The interior is nicely appointed and pretty. Here is what counts: the food is amazing. The concierge at my hotel recommended and I know why. First, I started with an appetizer sampler of the Piedmontese traditional foods. Delicious. My waiter recommended a Barolo which paired perfectly. Then, I had the Agnolotti pasta, perfectly cooked and the sauce was light and complimented the pasta perfectly. For dessert, I got the hazelnut cake with hazelnut mouse and hazelnut ice cream. Perfect start to my vacation. On top of all of that everyone at Corona Reale was SO NICE. An overall great experience!

I loved this place, very good food at a reasonable price. Cozy and romantic atmosphere. Service it pretty quick as well. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

This is your real authentic Italian restaurant, where recipes are gathered from generations and produce is home grown. The place is typical, the personnel is super friendly, wines are local, and the food is to die for! We went for the full 3 course meal and it was amazing! I wouldn't miss it for the world!

Wonderful truffel menu for dinner. Ot was the first evening of a series of truffel dinner evenings organized by this restaurant, and it was accompanied by stories being told about truffel, its history, fun facts, … (all on Italian, though).

I have visited numerous times and have always been impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. The decor of the restaurant is very elegant and the service good.

Always delicious, elegant, efficient and reasonably priced. We go often. It's my mum's "favourite restaurant in Italy".
