Castello di Volognano

This place was awesome and so was Iacopo. The view was amazing. One thing to know is that a car rental is highly recommended but you need an international driver's license to be able to get the car. We weren't informed of this by Europcar and they didn't give us the car. There is a bus that takes you to the train station. Google Maps helped with the schedule. Although the times were limited. We were provided a number for a local transport person although it is a bit pricier. Would still highly recommend. Everyone from my party of 9 enjoyed our stay and the wine tasting/tour.

A wonderful magical experience for our wedding and family holiday. Perfect in every way and Iacopo made it seamless and smooth. Would highly recommend and love to return someday.

Stayed here for a week to help teach a gilding course. The castle is stunning and extremely well looked after. The staff were very nice and super helpful. I definitely recommend staying in this beautiful location. Oh, and it has a pool.

We were visiting from San Francisco for our honeymoon. We did the tour and tasting with a light lunch. Such a memorable and special experience. We were the only ones and had the winemaker all to ourselves for the duration of our visit. We especially enjoyed the Vin Santo tasting. We would easily come back again.

Jacob is fantastic. He took his time and went through the vineyard and wine making process with my wife and I. The wine is fantastic and the service is even better!

Un piccolo borgo/castello che merita una sosta.

Bellissimo. Luogo ricco di storia con panorama fantastico sulla valle dell'arno e il Pratomagno proprio di fronte. Non si capisce chi ha permesso la costruzione sul retro, verso la valle e quindi visibilissimo anche da lontano di una serie di baracche e silos in acciaio, (presumo per il vino, peraltro eccezionale) praticamente MOSTRUOSI E INDECENTI (-5 STELLE).

Splendido castello per le forme ed il restaurato sapientemente condotto.
Andando a Rignano sull'Arno da Firenze,
lo si avvista sulla sinistra in cima ad una salita,
ovviamente in posizione dominante,
affacciato sul versante che guarda l'Arno.
Se si è in giro per le colline attorno al capoluogo, vale la deviazione anche accontentandosi della sola perlustrazione esterna consapevoli però che la vera visita sarebbe all'interno.

Luogo incantevole, fuori dalla città ma ad un passo da tutti i servizi. I proprietari e i dipendenti, risultano essere persone squisite e disponibili, ottimi vini e olio di prim'ordine. "Valutazione" data dopo esperienza ormai pluriennale... Che purtroppo sta volgendo al termine, ma spero potrà continuare grazie all'e-commerc(se cosi si scrive..)

Ambiente tipicamente toscano con buona cantina ecottoma ambientazione... eccezionale per l'autunno.
