Osteria i Macelli

The best restaurant of the area. Amazing place where you find delicious italian cuisine. The restaurant is in a calm area of Borgo a Mozzano, near a tiny river that relaxes with its sound while sitting on the terrace. The resturant proposes handmade pasta and is very careful to everything: we feel how much they care! The waiters are very professional and kind, they will offer you the best wine and always be sure that you are satisfied. They only use high quality ingredients, and, according to me you can’t be wrong to go there for a special delightful meal. 5 stars because I can’t choose more!

A few things from the menu were finished when we ordered, which was strange for 8 pm - the beginning of the evening ,and the pasta dish which i ordered with the meat, came out late, BUT the stuffed zucchini flowers were the best I tried, the meat was handled good and wasn’t fat, and the pasta was “smooth” and full of taste.
We sat inside. the atmosphere was welcoming…
so definitely 5 stars for us.

Mind you - The place isn’t watching the bridge.

Beautiful space with Italian charme and nice decor. Lovely service with good recommendations. Small menu but everything sounds tempting and all meals we had were fantastic. Even our vegetarians had several options. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we made a new reservation straight away.

We had a lovely lunch at Osteria I Macelli. I would definitely come back. Our waitress was kind, patient and spoke English. Food was great. Local wine was delicious. Thank you for a great time.

Roberto was a fantastic host for our evening. He spoke good English and put up with my broken Italian. We got recommended some dishes and they were great. Good atmosphere and great food.

Amazing food and service

A good selection of dishes from ravioli with champagne sauce & truffle which is lip smacking to your traditional tortelli al ragù, also an excellent variety of meat dishes. Suitable options for vegetarian too. Prices are reasonable. Nice outdoor terrace, friendly staff, nice family ambience. 100% satisfied. Bravi

Fantastic food, friendly and fast service, waiter spoke good English and was very helpful in helping us understand the menu. The Tiramsu and steak was gorgeous (these were two seperate dishes) :)

Roberto’s service was heartfelt, informative and genuinely even better than the incredible food. The live music added to the convivial ambience. Perfect evening.
