My family and I have just returned from a week at BelSentiero, where we had an amazing time staying at such a wonderful place. We cannot thank Jan enough for his hospitality, his recommendations of where to visit were always spot on, and his knowledge of Tuscany is superb. The villa itself is beautiful, comfortable and caters to everyone, from my 83 year old mother to my 13 year old niece. We had the whole place (5 bedrooms) to ourselves, enjoyed the exclusive use of the large kitchen, relaxed and played board games in the beautiful lounge after dark, and spent many warm afternoons, after a few hours of sightseeing, in the beautiful infinity pool overlooking the Val d'Orcia. If you are looking for the perfect place for a family reunion holiday, this is the place!

Finishing up a beautiful stay at Jan's lovely bed and breakfast! What a serene, relaxing find out in the Tuscan countryside. From the lovely patio you can see out across the rolling hills to Pienza (25min drive) and Montepulciano (35 min drive). Both UNESCO world heritage sites. Jan's pool is easily the most pristine, clean pool I've ever swam in and you can sit at the infinity edge and look out over the valley. Breakfast is lovely, and tonight we even had a beautiful hosted dinner where we visited with the other guests. Jan himself is very friendly and so accommodating. What a wonderful, relaxing stay. Our room the Rosmarino was so nice - a large comfortable bed (in US we would call it "king sized"), and a large bathroom with a double shower and bidet. Extremely comfortable. Wonderful stay.

if paradise on earth has a name it is the val d'orcia and a place called BELSENTIERO, a small hillside villa with a stunning view of the expansive valley beyond, a peaceful calming ambience, a refreshing infinity pool and an owner/host who delivers on every level, attentive, professional, informative and exacting. staying there and in this region of italy made for the best and most memorable of european holidays.......and let's not forget simone, the frosting on a very delicious cake!

We were lucky to have stayed at BelSentiero the past few days. The accommodation is simply amazing. Very kind host, the best views of val d’orcia, great rooms and lovely pool.

A beautiful oasis and retreat. Very lovely place with a kind owner. Great infinity pool and lounge area. Rooms are very clean and typically Tuscan. The property has only four guest rooms which means that it never feels crowded or busy. We plan to return next year.

What a beautiful place! Located outside Campiglia d'Orcia in the Southern part of Val d'Orcia, it has a breathtaking view over the valley, as far as Pienza. Since the new infinity pool has been completed this summer, the setting is even more spectacular.
We spent a week at BelSentiero in August and we were delighted by this experience. Jan and Renzo have done a wonderful job renovating the beautiful building. Jan knows everything there is to know about the Val d'Orcia and gives you advice about culture, restaurants, wine, olive oil and everything you want to know. We also enjoyed all of our personal conversations with him a lot.
By the way: don't miss out on the Tagliere at Renzo's Bar, it is the best we have had in quite some time.
The week at BelSentiero was one of the best vacations we have ever had!

BelSentiero is a beautiful Tuscan property with immaculate garden situated in a peaceful location near Campiglia d'Orcia, perfect for exploring the area. Jan is a fantastic host who would happily share his local knowledge and passion for Italian history, direct you to the best restaurants in Val d'Orcia, places of interests or local events. We thoroughly enjoyed great wines and delicious food that was served on the veranda and already looking forward to our next visit!

Een Bijzonder verblijf bij Belsentiero in de Val d'Orcia

Belsentiero in de Val d'Orcia is een echte parel. We hebben hier drie weken genoten, en dit was al de tweede keer dat we er verbleven. Jan, de eigenaar, is een geweldige gastheer. Hij zorgt ervoor dat je je meteen thuis voelt en maakt van je vakantie iets speciaals.

De omgeving is adembenemend mooi en straalt rust uit. De glooiende heuvels, wijngaarden, en olijfboomgaarden zorgen voor een idyllisch decor. Hier kun je echt tot rust komen, weg van de drukte van het dagelijks leven.

De locatie zelf is perfect voor wie van natuur en stilte houdt. Of je nu de omgeving wilt verkennen of gewoon wilt ontspannen, Belsentiero biedt het allemaal. Wij raden deze B&B van harte aan en kunnen niet wachten om terug te komen. Bedankt, Jan, voor een onvergetelijke tijd!

Ho avuto il piacere di trascorrere le mie vacanze presso il B&B Bel Sentiero nella splendida Val d'Orcia, e non posso che esprimere la mia più entusiasta raccomandazione.
Se cercate una fuga dal caos e dalla frenesia quotidiana in un luogo dove regna il silenzio questo è il posto ideale per voi.

L'ambiente che ho trovato è semplicemente stupefacente.
Ogni dettaglio è curato con attenzione e amore, creando un'atmosfera accogliente e raffinata.
Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e ben curate, offrendo un'oasi di comfort dove potersi rilassare completamente.

La piscina è un vero paradiso!
Le sue acque cristalline invitano a un tuffo rinfrescante, mentre ci si perde nel panorama mozzafiato che ti circonda.
È il luogo perfetto per godersi il sole, leggere un libro o semplicemente abbandonarsi alla dolcezza del dolce far niente.

Ma ciò che ha reso davvero speciale il mio soggiorno è stata l'incredibile gentilezza del proprietario, Jan. Sempre disponibile e premuroso, ha reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile, offrendo consigli e suggerimenti per esplorare al meglio la Val d'Orcia.

Consiglio vivamente il Bel Sentiero a chiunque stia cercando una vacanza tranquilla e rigenerante.
Qui, gli unici rumori che si odono sono i cinguettii degli uccellini e il canto delle rane nello stagno. Potrete godervi tramonti meravigliosi e sperimentare la vera pace che solo la natura può offrire.

In conclusione, se volete immergervi in paesaggi surreali, gustare prelibatezze culinarie tradizionali e rigenerarvi in un'oasi di tranquillità, il B&B Bel Sentiero è il luogo perfetto per voi.

Abbiamo soggiornato un weekend in questo meraviglioso BeB ,una locazione meravigliosa e magnifica ,immersa nel verde e sulla splendida Val D'Orcia,il proprietario Jan molto cordiale e disponibile,le camere sono molto accoglienti,ciliegina sulla torta la splendida piscina a sfioro sulla bellissima Val D'Orcia,che dire .,consigliatissimo.

La struttura è fantastica, immersa in una cornice fatta di val d'Orcia sullo sfondo, circondati da querce e cipressi. Un Prato curatissimo. la colazione è ottima e il proprietario è una persona eccezionale!
Su richiesta è possibile prenotare la Jacuzzi esterna per fare un bagno all'aperto in acqua calda! Compreso nel prezzo! La piscina e sfioro è magnifica!
Ci tornerei altre 100 volte!

The structure is fantastic, immersed in a setting made of the Val d'Orcia in the background, surrounded by oaks and cypresses. the lawn and grass are very beautiful. the breakfast is great and the owner is a great person!
On request it is possible to book the outdoor Jacuzzi to take an outdoor bath in hot water! Included in the price! The pool is magnificent!

Bellissimo casale immerso nel verde. Molto curato il grande giardino attorno la struttura, ampio parcheggio.
Presente anche una bellissima piscina a sfioro con vista. Grande gazebo attrezzato e lettini sdraio. Jacuzzi per un bagno rilassante.
Interni: 4 le camere a disposizione. Ho prenotato la Violetta. Spaziosa e comoda. Presente sia riscaldamento che aria condizionata perfettamente funzionanti.
Bagno ampio forse necessità di qualche piccola ristrutturazione.
Disponibile e gentile il gestore della struttura.

In een woord SUPER was ons verblijf bij Belsentero! Vanaf de prachtige veranda hadden we een schitterend uitzicht over de Val D'Orcia. De villa heeft een ruime tuin en er hangt een ontspannen sfeer. Gastheer Jan is erg vriendelijk en kan vol passie vertellen over de mooie plaatsen in de streek.

Wij verbleven één week. De kamer was erg ruim en voorzien van een goed werkende airco. De badkamer zag er ook prima uit.

Het ontbijt was altijd goed verzorgd met volop keuze. Wij zaten iedere ochtend goed vol. Daarna kon je direct een duik nemen in de prachtige infinity pool. Echt een mooi zwembad waarin je kunt ontspannen.

Het is een stukje rijden vanuit Nederland, maar als je op zoek bent naar een kleine B&B in de Val D'Orcia met volop rust en ruimte én een prachtig uitzicht, dan is BelSentiero echt een aanrader!
