Piani di Bobbio is a delightful ski destination, conveniently located just an hour from Milan, offering everything a winter sports enthusiast could wish for. The ski area is well-equipped with a variety of excellent trails catering to all skill levels, ensuring a thrilling experience whether you’re a beginner or an expert. The onsite restaurants serve up delicious, comforting meals, perfect for refueling after a day on the slopes.

A handy tip for visitors is to head straight up the mountain and utilize the rental facilities there, as they tend to be less crowded than the ones near the cable car entrance. This smart move can save you time, letting you maximize your day on the snow.

The absence of any drawbacks highlights the area’s appeal; it’s a place where every aspect contributes to an unforgettable skiing adventure. The charm of Piani di Bobbio has us already planning our next visit, eager to once again embrace the snowy slopes, cosy atmosphere, and impeccable services.

Beautiful getaway from the city life and not too far from Milan. The place is very accessible with lots of parking space, bar shop, restaurants atop the mountain and school and rental shop for activities. You should go during weekdays because it's less crowded.

Fantastic small ski resort in the mountains close to Milan, Lake Como and other areas.

We drove from Lake Como for a day’s skiing, found the car park to be ample with many staff available to help and direct. Ski passes are reasonably priced at around €40 per day.

We also booked a lesson with B-School and it was excellent. Partner’s first time ever skiing and the school were great at getting her going down the slopes within an hour!

Super Nice little resort 1:30 hrs from Milan. The ski rental is AMAZING, you Will be in and out in 15 mins and there are locker rooms to store everything. The resort is a cabin lift up into the area and there are 2-3 days of great fun for everyone. Prices are great and a long weekend here can’t go wrong. But if you have more than 3 days planned I would recommend a bigger resort

Good ski place for beginners and there are some good slopes for intermediate skiers. There are several restaurants at the top. You can also sled if you don't want to ski or snowboard. There are also several places to rent equipment at the top.

Our recommendation: if you want to visit all the places in one day trip, go early around 8 to 9 AM and buy return ticket because the cable car service is maximum till 17:30. Otherwise, you can buy just 1-way ticket and stay there till how long you want. There is a 1.5 hours walk to get down. The patch is well maintained but you must have good hiking shoes.

You can find,
- 35 Km of slopes - Snowpark - Cross-country skiing - Relaxation & Fun
- Fun, relaxation and all the beauty of a unique area
- A variety of summer/winter sports
- Just 50 km from Milan & Brianza
- Shuttle bus service and Snow Bus from Milan
- Skiing at low costs
- E-bike renting options
- cable car from Barzio:
-adventure park for children
-Stunning view of Italian Alps

1 way ticket = 8€. Return trip ticket= 13€ children (0-5years age) = unique 5€ (return)
Timing: 8:00-17:00

We had a wonderful time skiing here, it's not the run of the mill ski resort that would try to rip you off, we had very good experience renting the equipment for a discount because we were using it for parts of the day (children can get fussy when skiing). Slopes are very good for beginners and during the week there was no queue for the ski lifts (didn't go over the weekend so can't say). All in all we hope to get back next year.

Perfect spot to learn how to ski, they have several options available for different level of difficulties. You can rent a lot of gear here especially if you are new bie like us, who has not yet decided whether you want to invest on this kind of sport or not. There are also any other choices to enjoy the snow, like snow boarding and snowbob. Dont worry to get hungry here because they have many riffugio who serves delicious foods, even if you would feel like you want to dine in, you can always do a picnic on the ground on the benches.

Amazing place!! This was our first skiing experience ever!! You can rent all you need from there, and there are small slopes to practice. It was crowded but I guess we enjoyed the crowd, there were no queues for tickets, rental, or restaurant despite the crowds!

Great place to ski on a budget! Lots of options, low prices, everything works (lol).
If you're an experienced skier, you may find it boring. But if you're a broke student, visiting Milan from a warm country or a family with small children and not wanting to break the piggy bank, this is for you!
