Tenuta Casadei

I really enjoyed our tour and tasting of the winery. We bought a bottle at the end but I wish I'd bought more. Would definitely go back and recommend to anybody in the area

Incredible experience! Not only was the attention exceptional, but the products and the winery itself are fantastic. Anyone that has a chance to go, you will not regret it!

We had the most amazing visit with Kira our guide. The winery is beautiful the wine is exceptional. Would recommend to anyone! And hope to come back one day! We traveled very far to get here and it was absolutely worth it.

Walked down from Suvereto for an impromptu visit here. The setting is beautiful and the wines were great. Our host Kiera was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Would recommend!

Very nice modern winery. We had a great tour with Kira who shared some great insights. But of course the highlight is the tasting. We loved their amfora wines (especially the Shiraz) and their newest white vermentino so make sure to include these. We left with some great wines to take home. The winery is only a short walk from Suvereto so you do not have to drive, or you can take a bus, it stops right in front of the road to the winery (100 m). Tip, add a visit to another winery (we combined it with Bulichella only 10 min walk on the same road, see my other review).

An absolutely amazing and magical experience at the Casadei winery! My husband and I are very familiar and very much enjoy the wines of Stefano Casadei and family but had not yet toured the winery. What a memorable, enchanting, and informative 3 hour tour with the effervescent and charming Kira. She greeted us immediately with her warm smile and enthusiastic demeanour which made us feel right at home. The tour of the various vineyards describing and allowing us an interactive experience was for us paramount. Her knowledge and passion of the Casadei brand was important to us as we’ve been on other wine tours in the Chianti area but this was for us more personable, hands on and informative. Her knowledge of sharing and conveying the brand’s beliefs, strong roots and ecological respect for the land, animals and processes confirmed for my husband and I, the love we have for the Casadei wines. After the tour, Kira meticulously prepared a beautiful ‘tagliere’ to properly accompany the wine choices she had on offering for us. She introduced us to the delicious, refreshing and vibrant Filare23 which for us was a first and fell in love with it instantly and purchased a few bottles at the end of our tour. Thank you once again to Kira for welcoming us and allowing us to experience a beautiful morning of walking the Casadei vineyard, thoroughly explaining the various grapes and methodologies of the house beliefs and standards. The importance of preserving the land, the environment and ultimately producing exceptional wines. This house and their wines and of course the tour of Casadei is not to be missed.

Beautiful vineyard with amazing wine. The tour was great, and the guide was very friendly and welcoming. The people here have an obvious passion for their wine and we would definitely recommend anyone in the area to visit this winery!

We had such a wonderfull experience. Very friendly, professional and expert explanation by Kira. She is a very skilled lady who gived us such a elaborate tour. The wines were perfect, but she gave us the passion of the company.

We joined a tour and wine tasting. Our hostess was super friendly and was well educated in the art of wine making.

We had a nice young lady as our tour guide with good english and a lot of time for us. We spend two hours there and tasted some good wines like "sauvignon blanc" and the special white one "the orange" (ask for it). We had a good time and they all were very nice to us.

Great farm

Avevamo prenotato l’esperienza pic nic in vigna. Al nostro arrivo, a causa di una insolazione avvenuta il giorno precedente al mare (e ci teniamo a precisare non correlata all’esperienza in loco), la mia ragazza stava avendo un mancamento, ma fortunatamente abbiamo trovato personale veramente umano e disponibile, che ci ha portato nella zona più fresca della cantina, fornendoci una colazione improvvisata, venendo incontro alle nostre esigenze. Non avendo potuto usufruire del servizio prenotato, il personale ci ha fatto una presentazione all’interno delle varie sale della cantina, dove ci ha spiegato in dettaglio il processo di vinificazione, permettendoci comunque di vivere un’esperienza bella nonostante la momentanea problematica di salute della mia ragazza. Ci teniamo intanto a ringraziare infinitamente il personale per la gentilezza dimostrata, senza la quale molto probabilmente la mia ragazza sarebbe stata male.
Consigliatissimo per le varie esperienze proposte e soprattutto per l’etica dell’azienda e la bontà del personale che la rappresenta in toto.

Conoscevamo l’azienda e qualche loro vino per questo abbiamo deciso di venire a visitare la realtà della Tenuta Casadei per approfondirla.
Siamo stati accolti da Asia, una ragazza veramente professionale e preparata, che con tutta la sua passione ci ha spiegato per filo e per segno ogni aspetta dell’azienda.
Siamo rimasti molto colpiti dalla bellezza della tenuta e della loro filosofia nel rispetto della natura.
