We found this place accidentally and fall in Love with it. Magic nature place, perfect to rest out of the city. Their local wine is amazing and the restaurant is another level of food experience. We had never eaten something like that. Beatiful views, horses, sheeps. Definitely had to come back. Greetings from Poland guests.

A beautiful weekend away. Lovely team working there. Everything is local - so limited options, won't want to stay a week but perfect for a long weekend. Lovely wine and activities.

We are absolutely overwhelmed with emotions as we reflect on our unforgettable stay at this enchanting organic wine farm.

This is more than just a “stay” for us; it's our wedding venue and our happy place. The Tuscan hills formed the perfect backdrop for the celebration of a lifetime, surrounded by our cherished friends and family. It’s where memories are etched into every corner, every vine, every sunset. The warm embrace of Faye and their staff made us feel not just like guests, but like family. Their genuine hospitality added an extra layer of love and authenticity to our celebration. We will forever hold their kindness in our hearts.

As we say goodbye to this paradise while having a tear rolling down our cheek), a sense of melancholy fills our souls. If we could, we would stay here forever. But we take solace in knowing that we will return, that this is not a final goodbye, but merely a "see you later."

So here is a toast (with the best wine of Italy) to the moments that will forever remain in our hearts.

We had a lovely stay here. The girl from the reception helped us very good with the room and brought us to the wine tasting. The room was very big, the bed and pillow excellent. A huge bathroom with good products and a very good bubble bath.

The restaurant served us amazing regional food. Really enjoyed this with good stories about the food and wine from the staff!

The breakfast also amazing! Good local produce and enough to choose. And the have some cookies at the reception (dont forget to taste one!)

The swimmingpool was refreshing with enough beds to lay and a good bar for some snacks and drinks.

We did the wine and food tour with there farm. Dont miss out! Lovely people, awesome stay!

This place is magic, actually I don’t want to share because I like to come every year in all the rest and personal attendance. The staff, the kitchen. We celebrated our wedding in Lavacchio some months ago and I wanted to take the time and thank you guys for this amazing weekend we spent with you!
We saw some locations in Tuscany, but when we came to Lavacchio, there was no doubt that this is the place we want our family and friends come together with us. Its a real gem where you find tradition, peace and amazing views. Thanks to the wonderful staff that made our event perfect - and especially to Naomi, who was always so patient and friendly. We really appreciated your hospitality and will for sure celebrate our anniverseries with you! :)

Wonderful location and just so relaxing and welcoming. Food is very good and of course the wine and oil amazing as produced on site. It’s my first visit back after 15 years and it was a real delight to introduce my young son to this beautiful spot.

Fattoria Lavacchio is a gem of a spot. We relished our time spent relaxing by the pool surrounded by olive groves and cypresses. A well set out and well run establishment, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I’ve been here 3 times in 15 years and it’s always a fantastic stay. Beautiful old farmhouse on a picturesque Tuscan hill with vineyards and olive groves. Exactly why you would go to experience Tuscany. The included Breakfast is to die for, the freshest eggs, cheeses, locally sourced meats, and if you don’t watch out, the resident cat will steal your bacon. Huge pool, with an attached lunch veranda means you can stay at the resort all day. Take the tour of the winery given by the remarkable owner, Fay. She even let us go truffle hunting after the tour with her truffle dogs. Definitely take advantage of BBQ night, unlimited Tuscan meats cooked by the butcher. It’s just 12 miles east of Florence and the restaurant at the wind mill is amazing too.

I've just celebrated my wedding there, which consisted of a 3-day event with around 100 guests from different countries, part of which stayed in-house. There were some complex logistics involved and the team at Fattoria Lavacchio has handle everything in a super professional way. The venue is built with a rustic design which matches perfectly the stunning Tuscan countryside where it's located. Everyone was amazed by the beauty of the place. The staff was super helpful and I can't thank them enough.

Very welcoming rural atmosphere of slow life in Tuscany. Very interesting, educating and entertaining wine tour and olive oil tour. Our guide Tatzu has really put a lot of passion into sharing his expert knowledge and love to vineyards and olives in this biological and biodynamic farm.

All foods were very good, from local producers only. Breakfast was superb, especially juice from blackcurrant. Dinners served at sunsets among hills are very romantic.

Rooms are cozy in rustic style but comfortable furniture, modern equipment, A/C and shower, nice toiletries based on..guess.. olive oil:) All places are Persian cat friendly :)

It’s also a great location for day visits to Florence or Lucca for historical dive and art museums, and Liccio or Barberino outlets for shopping.

We loved their winery tour and tasting dinner in their restaurant. Faye was an amazing hostess because she was interesting and kept our two young boys entertained with grape juice and tasty bites. At the restaurant, there is a playground so the kids can play a bit during dinner. A true gem in the Tuscan hills and most certainly kid friendly. Reservations are a must.

Great location in the midst of Tuscan hills, surrounded by vine fields and olive tree farm. The main building, we were told, from 1600s (with modern renovation inside of course) and I couldn't take enough pictures of this classy structure. Food is great at the restaurant, and we had an awesome pizza night on a Saturday where they fire up the wood fire oven to bake a variety of pizzas for the guests. The owners take great care in managing the property and ensuring guests have a good time. They offer a variety of accommodation types (apartments to B&B-style rooms/suites to villas), so be sure to describe your needs when booking.

This is such a beautiful place. The restaurant was excellent and the staff fantastic. Faye, the owner, went over and above to make us comfortable, even bringing medicine to our friend who was not well. I cant recommend this place enough. If you are visiting this region book yourselves in, take their wine tour, and taste some of the best olive oil in Italy.

Frattoria Lavacchio was amazing. The location is spectacular and the restaurant is to die for. The staff is very helpful and the facilities are very clean.
Keep in mind that it is best to schedule your taxis in advance as they may take anywhere from 30 mins-1.5 hours to get to the farm. About a 20 minute cab ride will take you down to a train station (30 euros each way) and then a 25 minute train ride if you want to get in to Florence. - Most tours depart from Florence so renting a car is highly recommended.
Also, this lodging is VERY family friendly and if you are wanting more of a romantic experience, there may be babies/children screaming and running around at all hours of the day/night.

The place to stay if you want to taste and enjoy the flavours of tuscany! The great place and the friendly staff will take your experience to another level.
