Gelateria Gusto

Excellent gelateria! I recommend their pistachio granite (an Italian slushy). We also ordered the Sicilian pistachio ice cream and tangerine ice cream. They were all delicious! The staff speak English and explain the flavors. It is a must if you are in the town. A small portion costs about 3-4€. You can get two flavors.

Fantastic gelato shop! Chanced upon this humble gelato outlet along the streets of Siracusa. Offers a local flavour of Sicilian Nougat - a light flavoured milky tasting ice cream flavour. Very affordable as it costs 4 euros for a scoop and additional 1 euro for premium flavours.

Best gelato I had in Sicily. Recommend the ricotta (like the inside of a cannolo) , pistachio and vanilla. The girl who works there is lovely too!

Amazing ice cream and sorbets. The best we've had in Sicily. Good choice of flavours. We loved the mandarin, lemon, strawberry and dark chocolate.

Really great gelato! The flavours are really tasteful. You can taste that it is good gelato. I think it’s the best of the city.

The girl begin the counter was really friendly. She spoke good English. She also immediately washed her hands after touching money. The hygiene in the shop was also very good. A real good employee :)

If I ever come to Syracruse I will visit this place again for the great service and gelato.

Absolutely fantastic gelato. Could not recommend more highly. Best gelato we’ve tasted in Italy. The gourmet hazelnut flavour is a real winner. Chocolate was also excellent.

I think this is the best gelato you’ll get in Siracusa. There’s something really right about having simple, uncomplicated flavours with high quality ingredients that speak for themselves.
We came here to try the local pistachio gelato. I ordered a cone with just the one flavour which I don’t usually do but I felt the pistachio needed to not be imposed upon by other scoops. It was everything perfect, a nutty roasted delight, perfect sweetness, big serving and the waffle cone really topped it off, high quality and truly delicious.
We ended up coming back several times to eat the pistachio again and try other flavours. Would definitely recommend the local hazelnut and the almond too. We sat out the front watching the evening go by, super lovely. Very yum.

Incredible gelato. The stracciatella is definitely a must try. It is very smooth and creamy with very juicy chocolate bites. Honestly, the first bite of this gelato was so magical. I would definitely compare that first bite of stracciatella gelato with seeing your newborn for the first time. If you ever have the chance to come try this place, do it. I don’t care if it’s a 3 hour drive; I don’t care if you’re allergic to chocolate. As a matter of fact, I don’t even care if you aren’t anywhere near Sicily — this place is a must try at least once in your life time. I mean, as the saying goes, you only lives once; you might as well spend a portion of it feasting on this glacé gelato. I would definitely come back for more!

One of the best Gelato’s we had during our two week trip to Sicily. The Bronte Pistachio was especially delicious although comes with a 1€ premium charge! The server was very friendly and gave us two massive taster scoops before we chose the flavours we wanted on our cones too! Definitely get your gelato here when you’re in Syrakus!!

Gusto has one of the - if not THE - best Pistacchio and Nocciola gelatos in the world. Their ingredients and production methods are of extreme quality. This place is a treasure for the gelato-lover!

Wonderful small gelateria in the heart of Ortigia. The gelato is absolutely delicious - Pistacchio de Bronte and Mandorla di Avola are absolutely worth the little extra money, extremely creamy and Almond with a wonderful light saltiness and tiny bits of almond in it. Also tried Stracciatella and Lemon which were also amazing.

One of the best ice creams I have eaten! The ice cream is fresh and tasted very good. I had flavour pistachio. The price is 3.50 for a scoop of ice cream and it is well worth it.

I’ve been traveling around Italy for a month and eating a lot of gelato. This was definitely one of the best. Considering visiting Syracuse again just to have it again

One of my favourite gelatos in Italy. Had this 3 times in 2 days. Even my dad, who seldom takes desserts, loves this so much. A must-try

After a very long walk in the sun, this pistachio gelato was the best thing to get more energy for rest of the day. Creamy and full of flavour, the ice cream just made our taste buds feel in heaven. Hidden from sight, this jewel of gelateria is the place to have something refreshing, whether it's a scoop of gelato or a granita (we didn't try it but the locals took the figg one, so probably it was good).

Incredible place! The gelato is to die for. The best flavors I’ve ever had. I recommend the carmello and pistacchio. They serenaded us each time we went and had so much fun.

This was recommended to me as the best spot for gelato in Ortigia and it absolutely lived up to that title. Delicious!

Their gourmet flavor options like pistachio or vanilla caramel is the best ice cream I’ve ever had! We went every single day on our trip in Ortigia. Must try!!!
