Well worth it! Delicious dishes across the board and great service. We had a full Mel our starting with caponata, swordfish pasta, swordfish kebabs and grilled red mullet finished off with homemade tiramisu and washed down with lovely white wine. Really good vibe and super friendly and helpful staff.

This family owned restaurant in Ortigia is a real gem :) the owner and the staff are very nice. The fish was super fresh, you could really taste the sea! The place is not fancy at all, it was a very nice way to end our vacation in Ortigia. Will definitely come back

This has been an unexpected amazing experience. Since we occasionally landed here after passing by this sunny little spot an hour before. We went back and the food was beyond excellence Caponata (18 ingredients!) made by god hands and the fish so fresh and tender. Service was passionate and very nice. A must stop if you want to enjoy the smell of the sea while eating a marvelous fish plate.

The food is really good. We love our food and especially the grilled fish.

Absolutely excellent meal. Light, fresh and so tasty. Yes it’s not the smart romantic type of restaurant , but boy is it good at fish. Swordfish skewers fantastic. Mixed fried seafood (Frito misto) perfect. If you want fish, don’t miss it.

The place is small but very welcoming. The service staff was great and friendly. The food was delicious and authentic from antipasti to main dishes. Fresh and yummy! Grazie mille

Salvatore and his staff are excellent. This was the best meal we have had in all of Europe since getting here a month ago from Canada. We highly recommend this establishment!

4th Visit here. The food here is exceptional! Swordfish is a must try and so is their orange salad. Staff were wonderful to deal with and gave me a very pleasant service. Highly recommend to visit!

We had a clam and mussels fettuccine which was divine!!! The clams and mussels were in abundance and it was so meaty and juicy… and we also had a lobster pasta which was the special of the day, the lobster taste was really well infused into the pasta and the sauce. Servers were friendly and helpful, I definitely enjoyed my experience and would love to come back again.

To be honest, we came here because another restaurant was closed unexpectedly. But by God we are glad we tried it! The salad with oranges was great. And the highlight was the Tuna pancetta! The waitress (who speaks perfect english) recommended tuna since it's in season. Even while we were eating our main course, we reordered the tuna dish a second time! We finished with homemade tiramisu and the fragola-dessert. This evening was a 5 out of 5! Great food. Great service.

Best fried mix platter - I don’t usually like squid but this is the best ever. Sea bream was so delicate and soft.

We LOVED the tiramisu, we ordered two more to take back to the hotel. Best tiramisu I have ever tried.

Staff were all so lovely, and the meal was very reasonably priced (we ordered drinks too). Highly recommend!

Food tasted very fresh, we chose an assorted of little meals. They do offer menu of the day also. The waitors and waitresses were very attentive and customer focused - probably best service we have had in Sicily thus far. Thank you :)

I love the octopus salad, the tuna, and the eggplant dish. The tiramisu was unbelievably good and I highly recommend you getting this after your meals.

The servers were polite and courteous and very helpful in explaining to me about the dishes, despite their limited English. I look forward to return.

Had some great fish here. Our waiter didn’t have great English so there was a few points lost in translation. Took a long time to take our order and seemed to forget about us quite a few times, waited 5 minutes for cutlery after food was bought out and took a long time to try and get the bill.

But the food completely made up for it. Great quality, super fresh and really enjoyed.

Perfect! Fresh delicious seafood and friendly, welcoming staff. It was away from the touristic area and was a very calm, lovely place to have a meal and take in the beautiful ocean views. Highly recommend.

Best food we had in Syracuse. Very kind and attentive owner and chef! The staff was also super nice and accommodating. For starters we had Caponata and Insalate di Polpo - both delicious. For main course we had fried red mullet & grilled king prawns also amazingly good and fresh. Topped off with home made tiramisu. Fully recommend it maybe reserve as its a small place and lots of hungry customers:)

Wow! The seafood was delish here, especially the grilled shrimp. For the price, it is great value. 13 euros for 4 large shrimp, couldn't imagine that price in Canada. The wait staff was attentive, food came quickly. Definitely will be back if I am every in Sicily.

Lovely unpretenious restaurant in Ortigia, away from the crowds. Simple decor and welcoming, friendly staff. We chose simple dishes which were cooked perfectly. Mussel soup, fried mixed seafood, baked sea bass and sponge cake with ricotta, shared by two. A lovely touch that the chef makes an effort to speak to the diners.
Very reasonably priced, great location. Try it!

Ate here for dinner on a local Siracusan’s recommendation, and was so blown away we came back for lunch the following day. Pictures can’t do the taste Justice. The seafood is so fresh and well prepared, yet not all pretentious or over-the-top. The owner said to us “this is how I cook in my home” and if that’s true, he has the luckiest family in the world. But the kicker is that it’s all extremely well-priced—you can easily pay twice as much for a worse quality meal on the other side of the island. We ate the fresh sea bass, swordfish skewer with pepper sauce, caponata (don’t skip!) and tiramisu. Head here for lunch or dinner after a swim in the ancient ruins **across the street**, or after a sunset aperitivo, I promise you will not be disappointed!
