I just had the pleasure of dining at a hidden gem of culinary arts in Catania, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat.

Absolutely amazing place! Small cafe with authentic Italian atmosphere near the market. We had a wonderful breakfast here. The sandwiches were juicy and with interesting taste. There is a good wine selection. Cannoli was also tasty. They prepared us great cappuccino although it was not in menu.

P.S. we have took a breakfast here all 3 days in Cathania, because it is the best!

Super pretty small local locanda with delicious cold plates and paninis!! We have ordered for our lunch the mixed cheese and cold cuts board with two glasses of Nero d’Avola… a real festival of taste finished by a delicious tiramisu and espresso 🤤. Great food, very warm welcome of the waiters… definitely recommended for a value-for-money lunch. We will return for the paninis 😀

We discovered this restaurant on our way from the nearby market. We ordered food and were pleasantly pleased. Even though the restaurant is not big (and maybe that's a good thing), it offers high-quality gastronomy. I highly recommend a visit. And thank you to the staff for the friendly welcome.

If you look for something special not mainstream but also not fancy, simply natural, but in its kind unique, you will find your choice of high quality vegetables, fish, meat, or cheese. Taste the local beer. 🍺

What a tasty morning meal. Great and welcoming service. They asked us our preference and took one panini, slices it in half and gave us two interpretation to our preferences (strong/soft traditional Sicilian sandwiches).
They have a variety of cheese and salami and great spreads and additions.
It was fresh, tasty and cosy.

My girlfriend said it’s the best sandwich she has ever eaten. You can customise and the guy is super friendly and accommodating even thou he only spoke a little English. They also stayed open past when everyone else closes for a siesta :)
