C&G – Cioccolato e Gelato

I saw this shop first under a different name on the map, I guess since then it changed. Anyway, me and my partner had gelato and a few cakes. The pistachio-hazelnut gelato was so flavourful and delicious, however, the coconut one didn't taste much. We also had a 3-chocolate mousse dome (lovely, not too sweet, light), a pistachio-coconut dome (amazing!!) and a slice of ricotta pistachio cheesecake which was my absolute favourite. The cheese part wasn't too sweet but sandwiched between the sweet pistachio top and the syrupy-crispy bottom.

A beautiful place with many beautiful deserts. I came for ice cream. Took a medium cup with 3 scoops. Costed 2.5€ and was fabulous!
There are tables outside but I enjoyed sitting on a nearby bench.

Freshly pressed orange juice and delicious deserts ♥ I had the cocos/pistachio mouse and it was very light and foamy. Very nice and friendly staff! Very good service

Perfect for quick coffee and some deserts. Service was fast and kind. Prices are lower than all around. Espresso is only EUR 1.20 compared to 3-4 euro around.

Very good quality ice cream! My experience was mostly take away and not sitting there. I tried it twice, one in the morning and one at night. The staff was nice and spoke okay English. The flavor I liked the most is their own mix C&G. It is a mix of multiple flavors-try it out. The pistachio and amareno (cherry) were also good. They have patio seating but it is hot if you are there in the morning on a sunny day. At night it is pleasant to sit outside and watch the people passing. The seating area inside is air conditioned if you like to be inside.

Best gelato in town and they definitely use fresh ingredients rather than artificial flavourings. You can definitely taste it. Definitely try their pistachio and dark chocolate if you like these flavours. It’s inexpensive if you do takeaway(2.50 for a medium and 3 for a large) otherwise you have to pay €0.5 pp for corpeto. The service was not super friendly but it was alright. I would definitely go back again for their gelato.

Really great cafe with delicious cakes. The staff is very helpful and nice. I can recommend it for a coffee and cakes.

Aromatic coffee, very tasty cornettos with white cream, pistachio cream or apricot jam. Refreshing granitas (especially lemon and pistachio) and warm brioche. Polite and patient staff (especially Valentine), good location.

Spectacular look of desserts but same as other places. Been recommended by Italian to go there but honestly it's not much different from other places.

Well, say what you will of this chain of gelato establishment but I’ve eaten it on multiple trips to Europe and it really is some of the best. I cannot complain at all, texture and consistency are really great, flavors good or very good. It’s one I’d happily return to, even if staff have very stiff personality and service; seemingly… Good gelato!

Highly recommend, the negative reviews all focus on how the waitstaff have limited English (ok, but we’re in Italy and their menu is clear in basic words) and how there’s a 50c per person table service fee (there’s limited seating and it’s not completely unreasonable. The ricotta and pistachio cannolo (singular for cannoli) was great, the desserts look incredible in the window and the ice cream was honestly delicious. Deserves higher than its 4 star for an authentic gelato despite being close to touristy places.
