I've known this place for a while now and can attest to the tremendous upgrade in both food quality and wine selection. The atmosphere is magical, and I don't think you can find a place like this in the neighborhood. The cook and the food are amazing, the fish is super fresh, and the combination of the cuisine and the seating is sensational. I'm passionate about natural wine and usually choose the wine myself, but they can help you if needed. If you've already tried all the Sicilian natural wines, you can always opt for the French ones, which are very reasonably priced, especially compared to what I spend for the same wine in northern Italy, where I live. I enjoyed a selection of raw fish prepared by the cook and was satisfied before even reaching the second course. You can't miss this place!

Absolutely stunning view from there and delicious food however some service and BEWARE: if you do not appreciate seaspray or your table getting slightly wet, don’t sit near the edge, otherwise brilliant!

Another fantastic lunch. Took my parents in law for their anniversary and the food and wine was excellent. This is the third time I eaten her and another highly recommended place if you are in the area. We travelled just over an hour to get here, but well worth it.

We were a bit apprehensive in booking here and concerned that it would be touristy due to the television series Montalbano... However, we are so pleased we did. It is definitely a tourist attraction and slightly overpriced, but I think it deserves recognition. We had a magnificent time! Location is wonderful, staff friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Great seafood and straightforward - it is a very relaxed setting. Restaurant is located right on the shore. The decor is charming in its nautical and rustic style. Would love to return.

Epic place. No idea why the reviews are so mixed. Setting speaks for itself. Staff were friendly and attentive. Menu is simple and beautifully freshly cooked. Portions generous. I had the octopus and my mum the pasta vongole. Yum! And value - for the quality of the food and the uninterrupted sea views - I think €20 a main course is absolutely fine. I highly recommend.

Beautiful restaurant on the beach of Punta Secca and very famous location for one of the best italian fiction "Inspector Montalbano".
Stunning food and amazing fresh fish dishes.

Great place we loved it and its totally worth to pay a visit! SeaFood is fresh and cooked perfectly. Specifically, I liked the sauce from both main dishes in the photo and amazing dessert.

Stunning food in a stunning location
We went to this restaurant as I am a Montalbano fan who wanted to eat where the comissario eats in the show. Fearing that the place would not live up to my hopes, luckily we were wrong and it was superb! Firstly, the location. It’s right on the beach to the point that occasionally the waves gently lap the edge of the restaurant. You could not ask for better but reserve a table in advance to sit right by the edge outside on the balcony for the best seats in the house. Next the food. Beautiful from the generous bread basket, to the main dishes to the wine. My partner had pasta with mussels, which she never wanted to end; and grilled octopus (can be described as ‘heaven’!) Go there if you’re a Montalbano fan, go there if you’re not, just go there!

Superb.. Food choice, quality and presentation was excellent.. Staff plus the chef were professional polite and friendly.. Try the sardines and mussels.. The sauce in the mussels is worth reserving for plain linguine for the next plste

It was a thrill to eat at Enzo a Mare as we are both fans of Montalbano. The location, right on the beach and at the water's edge is fantastic. The food was lovely and served by very pleasant staff. We are leaving Punta Secca tomorrow so will be spending our final evening at Enzo a Mare and will carry the memory home with us to London. Wonderful!🥂🦞🍣🍤🍽🍷🍧☕🌅🌊🛫✈

Like eating on the sea, wonderful, and especially the fish of the day was outstandingly cooked. Of course not a cheap place. Still, fair prices.

Fantastic location, right on the seafront. Not easy to reserve a table - opening times not clear. Closed a lot of the off season.

WONDERFUL

This restaurant on the sea is a must for Montalbano fans, but even if you have never heard of this famous TV series, this restaurant is one not to miss.

There's a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the sea - everybody wants to sit there, so be sure book a table early.

The waiters are professional, attentive and most importantly, treat visitors well.

The food was delicious, we accepted the waiter's recommendations and were not disappointed. The cannoli are fabulous, don't even think about leaving without trying one. You can't go wrong with cannoli in Italy, but here they are truly memorable.

This is a great place to while away the day, to relax and soak up the relaxing holiday atmosphere.

Everything, including the bill, was just right!

Maybe I expected more. I somehow felt it's a tourist trap. A beautiful but very expensive for what is on offer. I have eaten better in Sicily. You pay for the spot.
