I have large and extremely flat feet. It's tough to buy shoes and with the wrong shoes my feet hurt easily. When I went to Florence my usual boots grew moldy from the rain. In this shop, they carefully selected a pair of hand made soft Italian leather boots that was half the price of my North Face boots. The man explained that good soft leather is better than synthetic shoes. The next day I walked 4km with no discomfort and the boots didn't have any moisture or odor problems. I returned and bought 2 pairs from the daughter of the original man who founded the shop in 1954. One of the pairs included a size 46 Tuscan leather dress shoes that were a fraction of Ferragamo prices with quality that was on par. All 3 pairs are soft, comfortable and very good value. They patiently selected the right pairs and I highly recommend this shop.

The owner is pleasant to deal with. Large selection of Italian shoes and reasonably priced.
