Very, very nice pebble beach, well worth the short walk and €5 entrance, even in 30+ degrees. Busy, but not over crowded even on a Saturday. Bring food and water (a couple of nice shops in the village of Castellamare del Golfo perfect for that purpose) or buy from the over priced van at the entrance (€12 for 3 cans of Coke). Toilets in the nearby museum, a bit of a climb from the beach. No umbrellas allowed, wear good shoes and enjoy your day at the beach!

Southern entrance to Zingaro nature reserve. 8km of coastline with access to 6 beautiful beaches. Wonderful day of hiking, swimming and snorkelling. Highly recommended!

being in the area, you need to spend a day to walk through this park along the coast ... beautiful bays with beaches (you can go down to six) ... the path leads along the slope among countless dwarf palms and prickly cacti ... beautiful views ... and the reward there is a bath in the sea at one of the bays..

Amazing hiking trail. In February the flowers are blossoming and the sea water is crystal clear! Bring your own bottles of water and food as there is no shop or kiosk along the hiking way.

Quite a walk under the burning sun, but there are places to rest in the shade, two or tree restrooms on a path and nice beaches with stones

Such an amazing place for a hike. The trail is 7km long (one way) and both ways took us 4 hours. The views were incredible, nowhere else to be seen. There is parking (for free) but the entrance costs are in the first photo. Definitely recommend if you are in Sicily. Also, an amazing place to stay near this park is “Frida casavacanze” (search on booking.com), 10/10 place to stay with family (5-7 people).

Stunning views! We took the coastal trail up, then over the mountain to the borgo and back - 11 miles in total. Very hot and steep in some place - bring lots of water, good shoes and a hat. No places to buy anything but you can top up w water in a few places. I would recommend to set of early mornings g otherwise it just gets too hot.

€5 entry, beautiful walk and beaches. Very crowded, particularly with beach users rather than walkers making progress a bit frustrating. Paid €7 for parking in overflow, not sure if this is needed for the main carpark but we arrived hours too late for that. Museums on route not that interesting.

Definitely worth to visit, but consider weather, good hiking clothes and SPF.

Very nice and easy hikes to enjoy the coast line. It is possible to go for a swim.
Hope that everyone follows the parks rules and takes his/hers rubbish back to the parking lot!

Beautiful spot for a hike. It wasn’t too busy in April over Easter weekend but I’m guessing it gets hectic as it gets warmer. Make sure to bring your bathing suit and towel for a swim!

Sometimes words can't grasp the beauty of Nature: "Riserva dello Zingaro" is the perfect example! It's impossible not to fall in love with this natural spectacle!

There are no bars, restaurants or fountains inside the Reserve... Therefore it's best to be well prepared and equipped with water and food!

Furthermore, the whole hike is under the scorching sun and rocky terrain... Therefore it's best to bring sunscreen, a hat to cover the head and running/trekking shoes (u cannot enter with infradito)!

In summary, to enjoy "Riserva dello Zingaro", it is best to go in the months of May/June or September (otherwise it's really hot).

If you like being in an intimate contact with the nature, admiring the Caribbean-like sea underneath, you cannot miss the 12km walk through this natural reserve between Scopello and S. Vito lo capo. The scent of flower, the peacefulness contrasted just by the noise of your steps walking through the path are the best to recharge your battery and disconnect from the caos of your life.

The first carpark you see is €5 with some lovely men watching the cars. It’s on a hill so if it rains it’s a bit difficult to get out. Make sure your handbrake is on. If you pay at the end it could be free as they seem to leave after 5pm. The normal carpark is free but usually full.
