The Little Olive Grove at Casa Mimosa

We had an incredible time here. The house is idyllically surrounded by olive, fig, plum and walnut trees. It overlooks the neighboring town, with a stunning view which we enjoyed most during sunset with a glass of wine. Great restaurants and grocery stores within a 5-10min drive. Terry, the owner, is beyond lovely. Her restaurant and tourist recommendations (several day-trip options) were spot-on. She was so generous with letting us try her products, which she makes by hand, and would leave us the most amazing vegetables from her garden for when we cooked at home and fruits in the morning for breakfast. My only regret is not staying longer and stocking up on more olive oil and limoncello, but we will be back as it is the best way to soak in Tuscany.

This place is one of the most beautiful and serene accommodations to pick as a base for your Umbria/Tuscany adventures. Teresa is a lovely, welcoming person who goes out of her way to make guests feel at home. Casa Mimosa is even more pristine and prettier than shown in the pictures. We'd come back here anytime we return to Umbria!

What can I say about this little slice of heaven in Umbria? Che bella! Hosted by Terry and Stewart, I was welcomed with open arms and smiles the moment I arrived. Even their sweet pup Penny greeted me with a "welcome to our home" yip! The apartment is extremely comfortable with excellent amenities and furnishings. Having coffee, fruit and breakfast items provided for the next morning, made easing in to the day a perfect introduction to la dolce vita. Being able to dine al fresco and enjoy the incredible views is definitely the way to start and end your day! And speaking of amenities, Terry's olive oil, olive oil soap and hand cream, made from the olives harvested from their grove, are fantastic! My friends all agreed and were happy to receive them as gifts - and are asking for more.
Terry was the perfect hostess, who not only speaks English (or British!), but Italian. As my Italian is very limited, she was extremely helpful in showing me around the area, being my interpreter and encouraging me to actually drive my rental car.
I cannot wait to return in a few months to this little slice of Italian heaven!

We would definitely recommend staying in the apartment at "The little Olive Grove" Casa Mimosa, Terry was so friendly and helpful during our stay, she told us of some great places to visit and eat and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was well equipped, very clean and comfortable, fantastic value for money. HB

First class accommodation and Hosting

Casa Mimosa war eine sehr gute Erfahrung. Es ist ein ruhiger, friedlicher Platz und wir haben uns in der modern und stilvoll gestalteten Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Blick vom Wohnzimmer aus ist parkähnlich und die Ausblicke in die Gegend ganz wunderbar.
Alles war sehr sauber und die Küche war gut mit schönem Geschirr ausgestattet. Viele Extras, wie selbstgebackenes Brot, Frühstückszutaten, Proben von sehr gutem Olivenöl und Seife, eine große Schale mit Obst usw. haben uns gefreut.
Sofa und Bett waren sehr bequem, es ist alles vorhanden, was man sich von einer Wohnung wünscht.
Terry ist die beste Gastgeberin, freundlich, natürlich, frisch und zugewandt, ohne jemals aufdringlich zu sein. Sie betreut alles mit Liebe und Herzblut.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super und wir würden jederzeit wieder unseren Urlaub hier verbringen.
