I dont know whats all the fuss about. Yes we had the mobile home so i cant comment on pitches etc but from our point of view it was very good 5 nights. Camp is well equipped for family holidays. Pool is very good, so are the shops. Yes a little bit more expensive but if you forget some things at home its still walking distance and you can buy pretty much anything. Animators and mini disco are Top! At least for our kids it was. The let down was walk to the beach and local restaurant. I am not going to recommend it.

What an amazing location and what fantastic staff! Best camping experience for us in Italy so far. We stayed in the Bolgheri mobile home which was extremely comfortable and clean. The food and service from the resident restaurant (Marco's I believe) was superb and extremely well priced. The supermarket seems small but has everything you need and is not at all overpriced. The entertainment staff from Metamorfosi ensured that the kids (and adults) were always entertained and made to feel extremely welcome. One small point is the limited number of loungers around the pool and the tenancy of guests to "reserve places" with towels and leave for hours. The lifeguards tried at times to resolve this but would often get a lot of conflict from those guests. Shameful behavior and not the fault of the resort. One other point was people at times driving too fast through the camping, but this is limited due to the reduced opening hours of the front gate. These issues at down to guests and not the camping staff. Highly recommended an we will most likely be back!!

We spent 9 days at Camping Campo dei Fiori in July 2022.
We opted for the most luxurious "Querchetto Plus", including private jacuzzi at the house. The house (= 40m²) comes fully equiped (dishwasher, tv, airco, 2 bathrooms) and was newly added in 2021. So no "wear and tear" yet. Excellent house. Excellent jacuzzi. Loved it. As did we love the possibility to book from any given day to any given other day (with a minimum of 7 nights), allowing us to avoid traffic during weekends.
The park: spacious. Some older areas with tents. I read some more negative remarks about the sanitary blocks. We did no use these, but i quickly visisted one and it was nice and relatively new. The sports area (soccer field, tennis etc) closes at 8PM, which was a disadvantage as it does not allow the kids to hang out there in the evening. (I can understand why that would also be considered a good thing).
Shop, restaurant etc: nice and clean. Good quality. Not the lowest prices you'll find, but the Lidl in Cesina is only 10 minutes away for those who want to keep it cheap.
The houses are far enough spread apart so you're not woken by your neighbours or anything. This can be different for people in tents etc, but that's not our cup of tea anyway - deprived from all luxury after a year of working full time.
The pool: First week no issues at all, we had plenty of free seats at all time, no need to put down your towel. Plenty of seats also in the grass area besides the pool in the shadow. Second week: More countries have now also started their holidays so more people in the campsite and pool gets more crowded. Still able to find seats, but can image that when the real peak season starts, this becomes a bit of an issue. Great plus: bathing cap is NOT needed (in most places in Italy this is mandatory!). Small minus: no water slides or wild water area. Bonus: a lot is allowed in the pool, such as inflatable objects, playing with ball etc.
Sea: We used the shuttle bus only once. It's really easy to reach the sea on foot and through the woods (in the shadow). Yes, you first need to walk about 300m down the road in the sun. Beach is clean and free. (Private area with rental chairs nearby). Very undeep water the first 20m, so ideal for small children. Very calm water, which is typical for the mediterenian sea.
Surrounding area: Pisa was a bit of a disappointment, besides the tower not so much to see. Cecina and Vada have some nice areas with bars and restaurants, but the variaty in foods is rather limited. I'm not the biggest fan of how they (do not) spice their food. In Belgium, when you order a steak, you get to chose how you want it (medium rare, well done,...) and chose a sauce. None of that in Italy. Same for the fish, simple baked fish, no sauce with it.
Anyway. Great holiday. Apart from Covid-period we normally don't go to the same place twice in a row, but this camping will be hard to beat next year, especially regarding the house. People, really, you'll find cheaper campsites and cheaper lodging, but the "Quercheto Plus" is worth every penny. But hurry, they only have 2 of these (with jacuzzi). Luckily, they do have plenty of recently added "Quercheto" (so minus the private jacuzzi).
Ps: did not use kids club. Did enjoy feeding the animals (goats and chickens) the leftover of our breakfast every day.

This campsite is excellent. I can highly recommend it to families with young children.

My family travelled around Tuscany in 2018 and decided that this was the best campsite that we visited, so we booked again for 3 weeks this year (2021). My 11-year old son had a great time in the excellent pool, tennis (for 5 Euro), ping pong and at the mini disco. The showers and toilets are kept clean and the campsite is relatively quiet. The nearby beaches are very nice, but somewhat crowded in August. The owners of the shop are extremely helpful: fixing air beds, pumping up tyres and of course selling the standard things you expect on a campsite.

I have been to many mini discos before (20 years experience :-)) and can honestly say that I have never seen anything better. The animation team (in particular, Arianna and Luka) have amazing energy. The were always really positive and entertaining. The kids love it - even my son who thought that he had grown out of it!

The place it's very nice and paceful. It's in the midle of the nature and near to the sea. The sea it's at 700 meters away and there is a bus that will transfer you to the sea or you can walking. The crew is nice and open to help you at any time. Of course the place is huge and very quiet on the night so you'll rest and enjoy your sejur in Tuscany. On the camping there is a nice pool for those who doesn't want to go at the beach. And the sea is very clean and nice and the beach is wild near a great forest and you need to walk the forest first to go at the beach.

The camping is really gorgeous. plenty of space, beautiful swimming pool, very good restaurant and a real good children club with lots of activities for children. There is even a market selling all food you need for reasonable prices.
Just about the restaurant, I ate there several times and all the times I've been extremely happy. Pizza is one of the best I have ever had and trust me, I know pizza quite well. There first time I went there I tried the "salumi misti" plate and it was fantastic (this is the posted photo). Really very good is also the bar. In the morning they have a beautiful and delicious selection of croissant and pastry. Best way to start any day of your holiday.
Absolutely recommended

Experience with a tent:
We (couple) booked a camp pitch ahead through camping.info which I can recommend. The website of the camp itself is not much informative. When we arrived, the reception was well prepared and gave us all the information about the camp and a map.

There is a huge parking outside which you can use anytime. You can drive inside the camp immediately after the check-in (even in the evening) and then only inside some intervals, I think 8:00 - 10:00, 12:00 - 14:00, 18:00 - 20:00, otherwise the gate is closed. Our pitch was big anough to suit a standard car (VW Passat), our medium tent, and still leave anough space for sitting on chairs. The pitch was bordered by trees that created convenient shadows. The place was overall nice. It had even some power outlets, which we did not use. What is a problem there is that the soil is very tough, so bring some hammer with you.

Bathrooms were close and were open all the time, clean enough. I've seen better but they were OK. The water was drinkable.
Around 10 minutes of walk there is a beach, which is not entirely beautiful, but good enough, with funny waves in the afternoon.

To sum up, I can recommend this camp. It is convenient and calm, with reasonable price.

Great place, beautiful campsite, fantastic location. Been to this place 3 years ago, and since then it has improved massively. The camping offers a wide variety of activities, such as fitness, tennis lessons, entertainment for young and old (Miniclub, sports tournaments, football school, archery for adults, Minidisco, shows, etc.). Sportfields for football, volleyball, basketball, footnet, archery, ping pong and tennis. During the night then silence is respected, so everyone can sleep in peace and quiet.

All in all, a fantastic place to spend your holiday.

Almost perfect location. The Management isn´t just polite but takes real care of the visitors and you can feel the effort and thought they put in the Site in many details. Natural Site with big trees everywhere; Super nice Pool-area with Coffee-Bar and lots of Ice Cream; daily Kid´s Club with programs like Kite-handycraft or colour-fest and even a Goat petting zoo; new Bathhousees; MiniMarket always open including Sundays; Pizzeria in the Site as good as the competition in the surrounding villages; Shuttle Bus to the Beach every 15min. if youre too lazy to walk the 800m. five stars deserved

We went to the biketrip throw Austia and Italy and it was the best camping along our way! It's so cozy and it has everything: a lot of plants, a pool, a lot of space for tents, cars, huts, even quite big filed and several 'bathrooms'. And goats!:)
We always stay for 1 night but here we've stayed for 3 days and delayed our journey because it was so relaxing being there.

Christina from Croatia who works in reception and all staff who checked us in and out were delightful. Cleaners did an excellent job of showers etc. tennis court in fantastic condition considering its synthetic grass. Just the right amount of sand to play like a clay court. Can’t wait to return
