Rifugio La Baita

I really enjoyed my stay at Rifugio La Baita. I did a Transalp on the mountainbike and stayed in multiple mountain huts. All were really good, but this one was simply the best! Beautiful location, good beds, warm showers, good food. Alessandro is a super friendly host. He prepared a very delicious evening meal (really big biker portions). The breakfast was also really good. 100% recommendation!

We visited La Baita more or less by chance on our mountain bike trans alp (Albrecht Route) in September 2015. And it was an unforgettable experience: the beautiful cottage is located in an gorgeous valley and has a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. Our friendly host was, by the way, a fantastic cook and entertainer. We can really recommend to stay for a night or longer in rifugio La Baita and to take a deep breath of Italian hospitality and cuisine!

Excellent location, food and service.
We hiked an hour in the snow (easy walk) and had a great experience at arrival.

Short stop in the morning! So friendly owner! Nice talk! Great Espresso! Awesome views and very cozy! Definitely stop here if you are riding transalp. Oh and i loved the little Kawasaki leaning at the wall outside 😉

Bellissima escursione in val di Rezzalo fino all' alpeggio più in fondo e in alto, poi ottimo pranzo con polenta, zuppa d' orzo, tagliere di salumi e formaggio, crostata ai mirtilli e amaro alla erbe offerto dal gestore!

Wunderschöne berghütte um die Seele Baumeln zu lassen. Es fühlt sich an wie zu Gast bei Freunden. Vom freundlichen Empfang bis zum liebevoll gedeckten Frühstückstisch einfach klasse !

Prenotato mezza pensione nel weekend dell'immacolata, bel percorso per arrivarci, facile ed innevato. Location della baita molto bella. Purtroppo non c'era neve sufficiente per la slittata notturna. Pernottamento e servizio impeccabile, era un weekend poco frequentato siamo stati benissimo, letti a castello e comodità da rifugio top. Consigliato

Ottima esperienza, Alessandro é stato simpatico e disponibile a fornire varie indicazioni. Buono il cibo. Abbiamo passato una bella serata in compagnia e la discesa notturna a piedi con le torce é stata molto piacevole.
Da rifare, sperando di avere la fortuna di fare la slittata.
PS. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare una volpe nei dintorni, esperienza unica

Die Zimmer sind einfach aber sauber.

Alessandro è un ottimo padrone di casa, pronto ad accoglierti, rifocillarti e dissertarti con prelibatezze che spaziano dai primi al dolce (il tutto sempre rigorosamente ‘home Made’) e vini a km 0. Se non troppo impegnato a servire, sarà un piacere chiacchierare con lui e ascoltarlo mentre racconta la storia del rifugio, questa struttura meravigliosa in un contesto (la val di Rezzalo) decisamente indescrivibile. Disponibilità di camere e ‘piccola vasca’ a ciel aperto con acqua riscaldata, da prenotare in netto anticipo. I prezzi sono in linea con la qualità fornita.

Non conoscevo la Val di Rezzalo, a dire poco fantastica. Il Rifugio La Baita si raggiunge dopo circa un’ora di camminata, il sentiero non è particolarmente impegnativo, percorribile da chiunque. Il Rifugio La Baita è accogliente, pranzo ottimo, proprietario molto disponibile e cordiale. Consigliato a chiunque voglia trascorrere una giornata alternativa lontano da ambienti affollati nelle vicinanze di Bormio.

Beeindruckende Natur, sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, gute Betten, sauber und sehr leckeres Essen.

Location fantastica e cibo gustoso: capretto con funghi e polenta strepitoso! Servizio premuroso veloce e accogliente, prezzi onesti. Dal parcheggio al rifugio ci vuole poco più di un’ora camminando tranquilli. Cani non ammessi dentro ma abbiamo mangiato fuori perché si stava molto bene. Da tornare sicuramente.
