We had lunch here while visiting Volterra and it was a really good bet. We had a pasta dish and one stake and both of them were cooked perfectly. In 10 days visiting Tuscany and having pasta every day, this one is in my top 3. Delicious! The atmosphere was cozy and the service very friendly. We recommend this place!

Me and my boyfriend had lunch here on our visit to Volterra. We had pasta with ricotta, tuscan ham and truffles and it was delicious. The waiter asked where are we from and after we answered “Romania”, he said something in our language. The atmosphere was also nice, we ate in an old wine cellary.

Great option in Volterra for local Tuscan cuisine. We tried their traditional vegetarian soup and wild boar dish and they were very tasty. We ended up sitting in the cave which provided a nice atmosphere, the downside (if you call it downside) you get no cell coverage and no wifi. The restaurant gets very busy so time your arrival.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch to allow a thunderstorm to pass over. What an amazing find. A great menu, with just the right amount of choices for different courses, some places the menus have too much choice. Was not very busy on our visit. The waitress was very friendly and helpful with good English and helped us with our choices. My wife and I shared a starter, see picture and my wife had a chunky thick Tuscan soup and I had the pappardelle pasta with Tuscan beef Ragu (sorry forgot about a photo until I was half way through eating it) with a mixed salad between us. All of which were very nice and tasty and washed down with house red (Rosso) would have it again and revisit this restaurant!! With coffees afterwards the bill was €66, great value and an enjoyable lunch.

A carnivores' paradise! We had a wonderful meal with each and every dish a hit. The service was excellent and the local wine was a perfect match.

Great small restaurant in centre of Volterra, the prices are a little too high, maybe not so big portions but the quality you get, is in the end, most important. Pasta Carbonara is probably one of the best I ever tried, the waitress (lady) was very kind and friendly. Bravissimo :)

Absolutely delicious Pici Pasta with Tuscan Ragu (similar to classic original Bolognese).

Portion is not large, but in my opinion quite perfect.

The tiramisu is also super special. Definitely one of the best I've had. There's something different about how they make this one, and it pays off nicely!

And finally, super friendly and attentive staff!

Excellent food quality, polite and friendly staff, everywhere all clean, no objection 😉. Price according to quality. Terrace in historic center gives a lunch or dinner a charmant atmosphere. My recommendation.

Loved the Pasta with the Tuscany Ragout! Just amazing! Definitely worth a visit! And the Tiramisu. Un sogno!

The food and the wine was absolutely delicious. The whole personal was friendly and attentive. If you go there, you'll finde some tasty dishes which are not that mainstream. We were defently surprised by the varried food.

Excellent food and service. We chose the evening special dishes and they were all very good. Great wine with a great atmosphere. What is not to love about eating Excellent food in Voltarre!!

Beautiful little historic restaurant. The food and wine was fantastic but the service was even better. Nicest people we have met in Italy!

Went the first time and the food and service was first class, the service and attention and the little things just made it worth it. So we came back again two nights later on our last night and it was no different! The steak this time! Class act will come again. Soprendente!

Whenever we visit Volterra, this is usually our first place to eat. Great food, lovely house red and white and always a super welcome from Robbi and Aurora. They're so generous and attentive, and there's always an added sense of fun there too - you only have to look at the entrance to their place!

We spent a very nice moment yesterday at this restaurant. The food was excellent and service amazing. We could eat in the basement of typical style which was really appreciated.
