As a bed-and-breakfast owner in Tuscany, I value my vendors, incredibly… FRANCESCA has been a trusted tour guide for our bed-and-breakfast for the past five years. I have personally taken dozens of tours with her. She is exciting, vibrant, funny, and most importantly, knowledgeable and informative wherever we go! She knows all of the important people in each town… She takes you to the most beautiful shops and stores… She makes lunch reservations at these amazing little restaurants that one could not find on their own… just recently, we had a group of 10 guests that attended our Total Tuscany retreat. Francesca, toward us in montepulciano and Cortona… We loved every minute we spent with her. I cannot recommend her enough!

A FRIEND COMES TO TOWN !!

Imagine you are visiting Tuscany and you haven't seen an old friend in awhile but both of you are VERY excited about the visit.

This is what it feels like to tour with Franchesca Raspanti of Tuscanytours.
Franchesca is the cool, local friend you have in Tuscany who knows EVERYTHING about Art, Music, Food and Wine.

I had the privilege to engage Franchesca's experience for 2 tours : 1. An in depth " walk about " tour of Montepulciano ( imagine that cool ,local friend being an Art Historian and a Level III Sommelier !! ) I learned SO much and it was done in such a casual, conversational style, and ; 2. An in depth Wine Tasting Tour with special emphasis on the Brunello houses in Montalcino and the great Vino Nobile houses of Montepulciano.

Because of her life long residence in Tuscany and her excellent reputation, doors were opened that would NEVER be available to the casual visitor !!

It was a mind blowing experience, delivered not from some mediocre Tour Guide just wanting to get home but from your cool, local friend who just happens to be a brilliant Art Historian and Level III Sommelier and who is very glad to be with you !!!

I can not recommend Franchesca more highly.

We had two amazing tours with Francesca as part of our “Total Tuscany” retreat with Relais Ortaglia. We were so lucky to have tours of Montepulicao and Cortona with her. She knows so much history and details of the area, but is also so personable and enjoyable to be with! We had days of learning and fun. Even if it’s just an afternoon, it’s definitely worth planning a tour with Francesca. You will get so much more from your time in the area than just walking around on your own. We look forward to more tours with her during our next trip to Montepulicano. 🥰

Francesca was a delight. We used her for 2 different days touring Montepulciano and Cortana. She is extremely knowledgeable of the area and has a great personality. She also allowed us plenty of time along the way to shop, grab a gelato and rest 😀. Looking forward to more tours when we return to Tuscany.

Francesca did a great job with our group. She not only shared her extensive knowledge of Montepulciano and Sienna with us, she was funny too. You can tell she loves her country and was excited to share its history with us. I would recommend Francesca as a guide to anyone.

My family and I booked a day in Tuscany with Francesca and I am so grateful we did. We simply told her what we would like to do and she put together a whole custom itinerary for the whole day and made it such a lovely experience for us. She guided us through the Val D’Orcia valley with beautiful sights, booked two wineries where we got lovely tours, tastings and lunch and took us to Pienza to see the town and to enjoy some lovely gelato. She was such a pleasure to spend time with and she is extremely knowledgeable about the area, the wine, the olive oils and the towns. We were so lucky to find her and she gave us an experience we will really remember. When we go back, we hope we can reconnect with her for more memorable experiences.

Our tours with Francesca were fantastic. She had a great knowledge of wine and superb selections of vineyards to visit. When I come back we will call on her again.

Fantastica!! Ottima guida enogastronomica per tour nelle colline senesi. Tanta simpatia e tanta competenza a 360gradi....la consiglio assolutamente per chi vuole visitare ma soprattutto gustare Siena e i suoi Borghi!!!

Visitare Montepulciano e dintorni con Francesca è il top, oltre ad essere molto preparata è anche simpatica.
