This tour experience was incredible! Small, intimate, and very informative. You begin with a tour of the grove and then move to the press and learn about the process. Then enjoy appetizers and wine with the owner. The drive to the grove is beautiful and worth every minute. This is authentic Sicily.

Had a great time here, it was beautiful to see the trees and the olive oil is delicious. You drive from the location to the Olive trees. Federica and Elio were lovely hosts. Plan to spend some time drinking wine, and eating bruschetta, and trying delicious olive oil.

This is the perfect experience for anyone interested in learning more about the production of olive oil and how to properly taste for quality. We started with a tour of the olive groves where we learned about the different varieties of olives grown and how the trees are farmed and harvested. We then went back to the mill to learn how the olives are processed to create the oil. You end with lesson on how to properly taste olive oil and enjoy a sample of the oil paired with local charcuterie. You have the opportunity to purchase some oil and other products to take home at the end (and you’ll definitely want to purchase some!). The visit to the olive mill was a fascinating and informative experience. The owner welcomed us warmly and proved extremely helpful in guiding us through each stage of the olive oil production process, from olive harvesting to pressing and filtering. His passion and knowledge of the industry truly shone through, making the entire visit extremely interesting and educational.

The tastings were a real highlight of the experience. Conducted in a cozy room adjacent to the machinery hall, they allowed us to sample a variety of high-quality oils, highlighting the nuances of taste and aroma of each. It was a pleasure to taste the different oils and compare them, enriching our understanding and appreciation of the wide range of flavors that olive oil can offer.

The atmosphere in the mill was truly hospitable and relaxing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable environment that made us feel immediately at ease. It was enjoyable to spend time immersed in the peaceful atmosphere of the mill, fully enjoying the experience and deepening our knowledge of the world of olive oil.

Great place to taste olive oil and learn more about the process. Magnificent experience with a guided walk amongst the olive trees, a walk through the factory and a tasting at the end. They also had a VR experience with even more details from beginning to bottle. We also decided to adopt an olive tree. A must visit when in Sicily!

We loved our experience. The tour was informational and fun. The olive trees are beautiful and the virtual reality was very interesting. We really enjoyed the cheese, pesto and wine at the end.

My partner and I took a fantastic tour, which included both the groves and then the milling process. This was followed by a tasting session. Our guide was tremendously welcoming and hugely knowledgeable. The food and drink provided was delicious and it was overall a superb experience. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience - would highly recommend. After a friendly greeting from the team, we were taken for a tour of the local olive grove owned by the family. We learnt lots about the growing and harvesting of olives for oil. After we were taken on a tour of the mill and then saw even more through a brilliant virtual reality experience. We then enjoyed a special olive oil tasting followed by a light lunch of the family’s produce and other local ingredients. It has been the highlight of our trip to Sicily and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We had a wonderful afternoon touring this family run olive farm. It included a walk through the olive grove and a tour of the production mill as well as a very nice “brunch” (which was actually a pretty substantial meal) and of course olive oil tasting. The people were super friendly and knowledgeable, particularly Federica. Highly recommended.

Very informative olive oil and processing tour! The staff were wonderful and very knowledgeable. The olive oil was of amazing quality, and the food they served alongside of it, was so delicious. Part of the education was Oculus VR, another cool addition,

It is a great tour to experience. You will learn alot about the proces of making olive oil and also. It's a friendly family busines, from 1947, almost like a museum. We did a tour with brunch, which tasted great. We recommend this tour!

We really enjoyed the tour with brunch. Very friendly people and they have beautiful family business. The whole proces is here, from growing, farming to extracting by mill. When you come in june like us, the olives arent ready to be farmed but they have a nice VR tour to see the whole proces. Afterwards you will get a nice lunch! Totally recommend it!

I recently attended an olive oil tasting that was absolutely delightful. We started with a charming tour of the olive trees, learning about the cultivation and harvesting process. The highlight was a delicious lunch featuring nibbles and freshly made pizza, perfectly paired with exquisite olive oils. The lovely white wine served alongside was a refreshing complement. The whole experience was well-organized, educational, and thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended for a unique culinary adventure!

Full disclosure, my wife loves olives! I like olive oil, but that’s usually as far as it went. I cannot stress enough, how fantastic the tour of this farm and olive oil factory was. First of all the owners could not have been nicer, the explanations as to how everything was grown, everything was made, and even the sampling and VR experience was exceptional. If you come to Sicily and you only have a couple of excursions that you do, please, do yourself a favor and make this one of them! After going through the tour now we want to buy some to take home and continuously import this to the US, it’s that good! You will not regret it, this tour is totally worth it!

We had a lovely tour of the olive orchard, olive oil production, enjoyed a soap making demonstration, olive oil tasting and a lovely lunch. Fabulous experience and even better olive oil!

Amazing olive oil tasting and lunch! From the groves, to the virtual reality production , to the amazing food and of course OLIVE Oil. Everything was fantastic. The current owner is 3rd generation and the presence of family shines bright. Federica is super friendly and very informative. We even got to meet the owner. After leaving you won’t want to buy any oil from the store anymore! HIGHLY recommend.

Yesterday we joined the Olive Oil Tour and Brunch at Terra Surti. It was amazing! At first we were taken to the olive fields and walked around. Our guide told us everything, from the harvesting till the processing. Currently they are in the middle of the harvest and make very long days. Nevertheless, the tour was great and told with so much enthusiasm!
