Gratteri Resort

In general we felt it was very hard to find hotels with a higher standard, friendly personnel and good service in Sicily. Gratteri resort was the pearl we were looking for. We had a pleasant stay and could highly recommend the accommodation for some days to relax.

The staff was really friendly and offered an excellent service. They spoke italian, english and ,i assume, french! From the outside the place looks nothing like a resort, but they did really a great job inside to feel sheltered and relaxed. We had the superior room with a small jacuzzi and a sauna. The standard was high and I really liked the whole wooden setting in the room.

The pool itself was really nice place to relax. Unfortunately 3 of the 4 pool features like bubbles and water beam didn't work or we were too stupid to activate ;)

The only negative to say was that we didn't enjoy the breakfast (Cornetto was dry, eggs were cold) and I really hope for the place that this was a one-time experience.

We didn't try the restaurant for dinner, but had some club sandwich at the pool, which was not bad.

Advice for other people: follow the sign and don't drive the the city! There is a street which is not correctly mapped in Google maps.

We recently ate at the Gratteri Resort in Gratteri for the first time. It won’t be the last. Superior customer service, facilities and food On top of thar add a beautiful location and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

From the second we landed, we knew we were in heaven! The team are amazing and so attentive. The food is absolutely delicious and the pool is just perfection!

We had a nice stay at the Gratteri Resort. The staff was really friendly and comforting with all requests.

Upon arrival we got some welcome drinks and even a free room upgrade. The resort is well equipped and the pool area is just gorgeous.
The ride from Cefalú / Palermo is scenic and you should really listen to the Resort and not Google Maps since you’ll end up driving through one of the oldest villages of Sicily.

No words can describe how special this place is. You can tell that a lot of thought and passion was put into every corner. We stayed here during our honeymoon and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff is warm, friendly and very genuine. The room we had was beautiful with a nice private little patio, where we sat in the evenings. The room was really clean when we arrived and was subsequently cleaned thoroughly every day. The pool is really nice and very well kept - they even have pool service and play some nice music.
The food in the restaurant was good, but the atmosphere was a bit strange and we wished we could have sat outside.
A small suggestion for improvement would be to put a little shelf in the shower where one can put shampoo & shower gel :) Otherwise everything was perfect!

This gorgeous place saved us after we initially booked into very disappointing accommodation. The setting in the mountains is stunning (and the drive up pretty dramatic!) and the hotel itself beautifully renovated. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the village and mountains, and everything was immaculate and wonderfully comfortable. The staff were all so helpful and charming, and the standard of food was great. Would definitely return.

Lovely place in small and cozy city of Gratteri. Perfect for quiet relax in mountains without city noise. Mountain trail just a few meters from the hotel. Great restaurant, hospitality of staff was amazing, so helpful and caring! Would definitely return!

Extraordinary place owned by fabulous people!! Antonio ans Rosalia have built a wonderful resort in a tiny typical romantic mountain village. It’s amazing ans warmful. This is a place to visit in Sicilia. Do not hesitate. Alessandra y Gregorio

We were really looking forward to stay at this beautiful place. Unfortunately due to very bad weather conditions we couldnt make it, but Mr Antonio was really nice to call us and offer us to waive our cancellation fee from his own voluntarily will.
What an amazing service!!

Amazing place in a beautiful town. The staff are extremely helpful and the food is excellent. It's a great base for walking and exploring the surrounding landscape, which is so peaceful. A perfect place if you want comfortable surroundings in peaceful surroundings

Looking back at our vacation on Sicily, we can only share praise.
Since we were early in the season, my partner and I were the only guests for the night at Gratteri Resort. And we were welcomed so warmly.
We booked our room (with a bath!) after good communication with Naomi, who was also our hostess when we arrived. She was so sweet and thoughtful, we felt pampered and comfortable. Details, like the romantic card and a rose on the bed, are that little extra.
The use of the sauna was super relaxing, the ‘dolce’ Sicilian breakfast buffet overwhelming and delicious. The Cannoli’s are a must-try!
We recommend this hotel highly, when you are looking for comfort and relaxation in an adorable town.

This resort was for me a really surprise. Located in one side of Gratteri, try to pass by Lascari 20 minutes driving up, which is a little village really clean and well maintenaid in the middle of the mountains you will feel the warming welcome of Naomi, Antonio and the rest of the team. If you are seeking resources and inner peace and balance this is the place to be. I recommand the dinner in the resort with a good sicilian wine... Antonio and Naomi are there to help the clients in order to have the most pleasent holidays and will guide you for the place to visit, restaurants and chees choise... I thank you both for all your kindness during our staing in Gratteri.
