Lowkey neighborhood gem. You will find lovingly prepared, home-cooked food here, much better quality than anything Cortina has to offer. Worth stepping in for a meal here in Borca di Cadore before your Alta Via trek!

Local restaurant, not too big and not far from Cortina. Good value for money. We called beforehand but the lady said it was fully booked, however we stopped by on the way and found the place half empty and they have us a table. I believe they don't like reservations. The lady said they "thought" they would have been full by the time of our reservation...

Excellent food and service! Strongly recommend to visitors

Came here by accident - the road towards Venice was closed for the Gira d'Italia. So lucky to stop here for lunch. Food was local and delicious and the menu was interesting with plenty of choice. The salad couldn't have been fresher, straight from their garden. Best apple strudel too! We sat on the shaded patio with fabulous mountain views. Our kind host even let us stay after the restaurant closed and even brought us fresh water so that we wouldn't get thirsty while we waited for the road to reopen! Definitely a place to return to.

Als ik dit restaurant eerder ontdekt had tijdens m'n verblijf in Borca di Cadore dan was ik er vaker gaan eten. Enorm lekker eten, prima vriendelijke service, normale prijzen. Aanrader! Tevens goede parkeergelegenheid voor de deur en achter het restaurant.

Piccolo ristorante tipico, mi sono fermato a mezzogiorno con la mia famiglia ed abbiamo assaggiato i primi. Non ricordo il nome della pasta che ho scelto io (dei rombi a basa di verdure) mentre la mia compagna ha preso i canederli. Per i bambini ci sono a disposizione pasta al pomodoro ed al ragù. Molto buono il contorno di funghi con polenta. Francamente ci fermiamo lì da anni ed il servizio è stato sempre impeccabile. Se cercate porzioni extra large non fa per voi, ma la qualità dei piatti è garantita.

Ho cenato qui con amici e siamo stati benissimo. Cucina tradizionale, ma con spunti creativi, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Tutto davvero gustoso, in particolare gli gnocchi. Il servizio conviviale ma professionale. Tornerò sicuramente

Il servizio veramente impeccabile.

Lo frequento regolarmente da anni e vi ho sempre mangiato molto bene. Consiglio i caziunzei alle rape rosse, il baccala', le patate al forno, il rosso Valpolicella ripasso Scriani e il tortino al cioccolato. Prezzo medio-alto.

Ristorante molto accogliente, con posti all'esterno per il periodo estivo. Molto curato il menù con piatti della tradizione buoni e ben presentati; buone le opzioni anche per i bambini. Buona la cantina con diverse opzioni, in particolare regionali o comunque per accompagnare i piatti proposti. Cordiale il personale; un'ottima esperienza, anche ripetuta nel tempo. Giusto il prezzo.

Einfach nur super!
Wenn ich nicht nur aufgrund meines Urlaubs hier wäre, würde ich definitiv öfter im Monat vorbeikommen.

Essen:
Das Essen war absolut lecker und frisch. Man hat geschmeckt, dass alles hausgemacht und mit Liebe zubereitet wurde. Ich hatte eine Vorspeise (Steinpilzflan mit Käsecreme und Saurisbogen), Hauptspeise (Piatto Cadorina) und Dessert (Erdbeereis an Erbeersauce, selbstgemacht versteht sich).
Abgesehen vom Eis kannte ich die Speisen in der Form nicht und gehe davon aus dass es sich um etwas typisch regionales handelt. Habe mich sehr darüber gefreut und wie gesagt super lecker !

Dazu wurde noch gratis Brotgereicht sowie nochmal zusätzlich ein Brotaufstrich des Hauses mit kleinen Brotspezialitäten des Hauses.

Service:
Unsere Bedienung (eine junge Frau) hat uns sehr lieb und nett bedient. In gutem Englisch konnte sie uns auch trotz der fehlenden Italienischkenntnisse unsere Wünsche erfüllen. Sehr bemüht, hilfsbereit und wirklich sehr freundlich.

Die Speisekarte gibts als klassische Karte aber auch als digitale Version mittels QR-Code. Vorteil hierbei ist, dass man die Karte direkt in anderen Sprachen anzeigen lassen kann.

Ambiente:
Urig gemütlich, passend zum Charakter des Restaurants.

Fazit:
5* in jedem Bereich und das mit Herzen. So etwas hätte ich mir während meines gesamten Urlaubs gewünscht.

Ho mangiato da Cianzia per cena dopo aver letto le ottime recensioni, che posso solo confermare.
L'ambiente è caldo e accogliente e il personale è molto gentile e professionale.
Volevo mangiare tipico e quindi più che guardare il menù mi sono lasciato consigliare.
Ho preso gli Gnoche Da Dota che sono un piatto tipico solo della cittadina di Borca di Cadore e sono un tipo di pasta alle erbette molto gustosa con grana, spersada (una ricotta tipica) e burro fuso. Piatto buonissimo.
Come birra ho trovato piacevolmente la Zahre di Sauris che da friulano ho gradito molto.
In questo posto si sente un incrocio di sapori tra la tradizione del Cadore e quella friulana, tanto che come secondo piatto ho preso il frico con zucca che è diverso dal tipico frico ed è una rivisitazione interessante.
Per concludere ho scelto lo strudel fatto in casa accompagnato da un ottimo bicchiere di Marzemino passito.
Sono andato via molto soddisfatto e tornerò da Cianzia quando ripasserò da quelle parti.
