Cortona Wine Tours

I’ve taken two wine tours with this company and they far exceeded my expectations! The drivers were professional and prompt in picking us up directly from our hotel in Cortona. The selection of wineries was perfect- from the stunning old world, traditional style like Villa S. Anna to the rolling hills of a modern winery growing hydroponic vegetables next to the vineyard. Wine Tours Cortona arranges a perfect taste of Tuscany that includes a ride through the beautiful countryside with history and friendly chatter with your driver. You will feel safe in the hands of these professionals, whose air-conditioned vehicles are also pristine and comfortable to ride in. They can accommodate private tours for 2-8 guests. Each stop includes a tour of the winery, tasting and usually a light Tuscan snack with the wine. It’s obvious the drivers know the area and winery staff well. I appreciated that we didn’t feel pressured to buy anything, but both trips I ended up shipping a case of wine back to the United States, as well as purchased some bottles to enjoy on the rest of our vacation!
Communication is on point with this company; expect a prompt response and ease of booking for this five star luxury experience at an affordable price. I’ve shopped around and they are by far the best value for the day in the area. A truly exceptional company all around!

We spent two days with Alberto touring wineries in Tuscany, and he is the ultimate guide for learning about the entire process! We learned more about wine than I had in my entire life, we had tremendous fun, great wine, and enjoyed his company as much as the scenery! 10 stars!!!!

Alberto, was a godsend. I feel like he saved my wedding. He was my go to guy when we were in Cortona. He planned a day excursion for 25 ladies that where there for my wedding. We went to two wineries that were both so different and completely complimented each other. He also arranged a day trip to Siena. Every person was beyond impressed and had a great time. Leading up to the trip he always got right back to me. I would highly recommend.

Alberto is simply a fantastic guide. Highly knowledgable about Tuscan wine - the terroir, the grapes and the individual vineyards themselves - as well as local history and cuisine. And above all he made our day interesting and fun, not just another processional wine tour.
We visited two wineries with him in Montepulciano: Villa Santa'Anna and Dei. Both quite different, but each offered up superb reserva Nobiles and Rossos (the former also produces a nice chianti and a vinsanto, the latter a decent grappa via another producer under licence) Lunch at a fantastic local eatery in an old medieval building was included (a tiny place, we were the only tourists in there - we'd never have found it otherwise). Thank you Alberto for a great day, one of our best in Tuscany.

Our group had an AMAZING day with Alberto! He arrived promptly to pick us up at our hotel, and we visited two delicious wineries over the course of the day. By far one of the best tours I have taken He picked our group up where we were staying in Cortona. He took us to two amazing wineries in Montalcino. The first one family owned with fabulous wine and the second with great wine and lunch. He knows his wine and the local area as his home area.
