The location is wonderful and the food was just as wonderful.
I tried the top three restaurants on this beach and this one was for sure worth the ratings.

Nice location and fair prices. Atmosphere is amazing close to the sea and lots of Italians take their meals there. So it can’t be that bad 🇮🇹

Beautifull restaurant directly on the Bovo Marina beach, with great sea and sunset view. Excellent service and hospitality of the Owner. Great quality of products, and really exellent food. All primi (pasta) are excelent. Tagliatta di Vittello, caponata di pesce spada, polpo and Tuna - the best. We had excelent time there during our stay in Luna Minorka. Definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner :-)

A perfect spot to spend some time while enjoying good food

Incredible evening spent here! The sunset was magical, the staff were delightful and it was the best pasta dish I’ve had in Sicily!! (Shrimp with spaghetti out of this world!!) my husband said his was excellent too!! (Octopus skewers) YOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Giovanna and her team really do a great job: Delicious food (the pasta with sepia was amazing), a very warm service - and all this in a beautiful location right on the beach. We are already looking forward to coming back!

Mah , da dove comincio ? La location è molto curata, arredi ben scelti , mise en place impeccabile e.... La vista: direttamente sulla spiaggia di Bovo Marina. Servizio? Eccellente. Dall'impeccabile signora Giovanna, che come una perfetta padrona di casa è presente ,ma non invadente , ad ascoltare i clienti. Lo staff : Nino è nato x seguire una sala ed i clienti , è fantastico , riesce ad accontentare tutti , sicuramente anche grazie al buon equilibrio e sinergia con i colleghi. Paolo, il figlio della proprietaria è competente e di una gentilezza ed educazione con i dipendenti , il che vuole dire tanto. Arriviamo al cibo : sicuramente materia prima al top e ci sta perciò pagare qualcosina in più ma ne vale la pena.... Oltretutto le porzioni non si fanno ridere dietro..... Complimenti alla cucina che nonostante il locale è preso d'assalto da tantissimi avventori , riesce ad essere veloce ed accontentare le variazioni sul menù richieste dai clienti senza intopparsi mai. Bravi , bravi tutti

Il ristorante “Marina Gió” è una perla nascosta affacciata sul mare, raggiungibile attraverso un incantevole sentiero costeggiato da alti alberi. La location è curata nei minimi dettagli, creando un’atmosfera rilassante e suggestiva.

I prezzi dei piatti sono leggermente sopra la media, ma la qualità del cibo giustifica ampiamente il costo. Abbiamo ordinato dei primi piatti e siamo rimasti colpiti dalla freschezza dei gamberi, che meritano un voto di 10. Anche i dolci hanno soddisfatto le nostre aspettative, in particolare il tiramisù è stato eccezionale, e il semifreddo al pistacchio era molto buono.

La qualità del pesce è ciò che ci ha impressionato di più: fresco e delizioso, rappresenta sicuramente il punto forte del ristorante. Il servizio è stato buono e molto veloce, anche se abbiamo notato una differenza nell’attenzione tra il personale femminile e quello maschile. Le donne si sono mostrate più gentili e premurose, mentre gli uomini sembravano un po’ frettolosi.

In conclusione, “Marina Gió” è un ristorante che consiglio vivamente sia per la qualità del cibo che per la splendida location. Se avete ospiti, potete tranquillamente portarli qui, sicuri che ne resteranno entusiasti. Noi sicuramente ci torneremo.

Locale molto bello, con ottima vista sul mare ed arredato finemente in tema mediterraneo. Porzioni molto abbondanti, sia antipasti che primi di ottima qualità, eseguiti alla perfezione.
