Delicious and rich food.
Very good wine pairing and reasonable prices. I ordered the cacio e pepe and it was one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere in Italy.

This is one of my favorite spots to have lunch in Orte and it's got shaded outdoor seating which is great when it's hot. They have great vegetarian options. There's a mixed vegetarian starter that all my friends love. I'm not a vegetarian, but I love it as well. I've always had an excellent experience here with both service and food. My favorite starter is the prosciutto and melon, but Italy only uses fresh ingredients so it is seasonal. It is very important to note that at this particular restaurant, it is customary to go inside to pay your tab at the end of the meal when you're ready. I only mention this so you don't wait at the table for an hour wondering why the check didn't arrive. :)

Absolutely fantastic Italian restaurant with a home cooking. Everything that we tried was absolutely delicious. Will visit here again for sure, you must try this!

Wow! This place was a great find. Stopped in for lunch after leaving Rome driving to Tuscany. The staff was wonderful and inviting, despite us not speaking Italian. The food may have been the best of our trip. We had a divine lamb roast and delicious pasta, fried artichoke, and suppli. Absolutely eat here if you are in the area!

The best gnocchi that we had so far. Really good eggplant parmigiana and super white wine. Friendly and efficient service. Fair price to top it off.

Ate here going up to Tuscany and back from Florence. Quick easy off highway and great meat plates with amazing roast pork as well as their fantastic pasta dishes! One of the best tiramisu.

Simple food done really well. We had ravioli and the bolognese. Both were really good. Would recommend.

Un luogo di altri tempi nel borgo di Orte. Cacio e pepe ineguagliabile, maialino al forno che si scioglie in bocca. Accoglienza e ambiente informale dove sentirsi bene tra i muri di pietra della Contrada che ospita il dehors. La sosta a arte vale la pena per questo ristorante

Siamo stati in questa trattoria sia a pranzo che a cena durante il nostro viaggio in bici di ritorno verso casa. I cibi sono buonissimi, abbiamo mangiato torta al testo con cicoria e salsiccia, visciarelli cacio e pepe e al sugo piccante, tortellini in brodo e zuppa di fagioli e cavolo nero, tutti ottimi. L'ambiente quello di una vera trattoria, Andrea e Francesca che ci hanno accolto sono state gentilissime e cordialissime. Un posto di quelli che ormai non si trovano più.. ci torneremo!

Siamo stati a pranzo venerdì scorso, ambiente accogliente, cameriera gentilissima, ha accontentato le nostre richieste, piatti abbondanti e buonissimi 🤤 ho dovuto lasciare una parte al mio compagno, pane profumato, buono anche il vino della casa( bianco),bagni puliti 👍 giusto rapporto qualità prezzo. Parcheggio a 100 metri vicinissimo. Lo consiglio vivamente se come noi siete di passaggio.

Per interrompere il viaggio da Padova a Napoli ci siamo fermati in questa cittadina abbarbicata in cima ad una montagna . Bellissima Orte e tipica la trattoria ove ci siamo fermati. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo oltre le attese . Tutto è buono . Vi consiglio Arrostini, Pasta Cacio e Pepe e Pasta Amatriciana. Il vino bianco della casa è eccezionale.

Ci siamo fermati per caso oggi per pranzo,cibo casareccio,cucinato bene.prezzo da trattoria(come una volta!)consigliamo e facciamo complimenti al cuoco ed al cameriere . Persone gentili e servizievoli
