Podere Sant'Angelo Tuscan Holiday Homes

It was a really pleasant stay! Podere Sant'Angelo is a very cosy and peaceful place. A room as well as a garden are well maintained. Graham is a very nice person, always happy to chat and to provide information about local attractions.

We have had a wonderful two weeks stay in the Albegna apartment in Podere Sant Angelo. The apartment is very comfortable with everything you may need for a great holiday. Graham is very knowledgeable about the local area and gave us many top tips of places to visit. The local towns of Arcidosso and Castel del Piano have well stocked supermarkets and lovely cafes. There are so many little restaurants serving amazing Tuscan specialties in the area, two of our favourites being Trattoria Cacciatore in Rocchette de Fazzio where we had an amazing cod dish and Da Noi at Cana which has amazing views over the valley. A beautiful location and a super relaxing holiday. Thank you Graham. We will certainly be returning to your beautiful accommodation.

We've had an amazing time at this lovely place. The apartment is very well equipped and there is everything you need (we stayed at albegna apartment). Even a baby bed is available.
Graham gave us many valuable tips about excursions and local stores and we had pleasant conversations.
The view from this elevated location is just amazing.

Had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Podere Sant’Angelo - this place is truly idyllic, with stunning views and total peace and quiet. The accommodation is clean, tasteful and welcoming, and the garden is full of beautiful flowers. Graham was really helpful and gave us lots of great suggestions of things to do in the area. Highlights include the scenic Monte Labro walk, and hiring bikes from Alberese and cycling through Parco Maremma down to beach. I will definitely be returning to Podere Sant’Angelo next year!

We have had a lovely stay in the Albegna apartment in Podere Sant Angelo. We explored the local river, went to the beach, and had many amazing meals at the local restaurants! Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful natural Tuscan surroundings!

We would like to thank our very friendly host Graham for the three heavenly weeks in cottage Zolferate. His estate is beautiful. Lots of privacy in our own garden, with the most beautiful flowers, herbs and butterflies. Everything we needed was available. He also had useful tips for nice trips in the area. We first learnt about Podere Sant'Angelo in the RHS "Garden" magazine and after referring to the website decided to book a few days stay after our planned visit to Firenze, (easily visited in a day). The scenery is magnificent, the local towns/villages charming. Graham, the owner recommended a number of very good local restaurants where we ate well and enjoyed some excellent local wines. Before leaving Zolferate, we were already talking about our next visit. We stayed in mid May when the wild flowers were at their most spectacular but any time of the year would be most enjoyable.

Graham could not have been nicer, we took 2 of the 3 cottages. Perfect location, completely quiet in beautiful garden with roses in flower and view over Tuscan hills. Roccalbegna the nearest village charming with several authentic shops, pharmacie, bar.. etc. We'll be back.

Lovely stay, relaxing setting in the heart of Tuscany. Delicious food. Enjoyed visiting hilltop villages, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pitigliano. Graham had lots of useful advice, will definitely recommend to my Friends. Will definitely come back.

Graham's Podere Sant'Angelo apts are perfect for relaxing. There is peace and quiet surrounded by the 4 Bs above.

The apts are spotless and modern. There are fabulous views out the front door and from the patio.

Europe is experiencing a heat wave. Here in Tuscany at 2100' asl, the temperature is about 95F (35C). BUT, the breeze is cool and and there is no Humidity!!!

Following a week of sweating and mobs of tourists in Rome, this is the ideal place to decompress.

Zum vierten Mal in Podere Sant‘ Angelo!
Wir haben hier eine Woche verbracht und uns wie immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gemütlich, hat alles, was wir brauchen, und entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Graham hat uns wie jedes Mal gute Tipps gegeben, was man unternehmen kann. Wer Spaß an kurvenreichen Straßen hat, kann wunderbare Ausblicke auf die typische toskanische Landschaft vom Monte Amiata, Monte Labbro oder Castiglione d‘Orcia genießen. Lohnenswert sind auch eine Radtour im Parco naturale della Maremma (mit Bademöglichkeit in einer wunderschönen naturbelassenen Meeresbucht) und ein Bad in den schwefelhaltigen Terme di Saturnia. Wie bei jedem Aufenthalt gehören die Restaurants „Da Noi“ in Cana und „Il Barilotto“ in Santa Fiora zu unserem Pflichtprogramm. Ein besonderes Highlight sind die Klassik-Konzerte des Amiata Piano Festivals, die jedes Jahr mehrfach stattfinden. Es wird sicherlich nicht unser letzter Besuch in Podere Sant‘ Angelo gewesen sein!

Meraviglioso posto immerso nella natura. Bellissimi appartamenti ben tenuti, ben puliti con ogni confort. E il proprietario Graham una persona sublime, molto educato e sempre disponibile. Lo consigliamo vivamente e speriamo di poterci tornare presto. Paola e Aldo

Al nostro arrivo abbiamo subito apprezzato la bellezza del posto, immerso nella natura e ben curato. Le case sono pulite e dotate di ogni comfort.
Il padrone di casa è una persona molto gentile, disponibile e, al contempo, discreta.

La sera è possibile apprezzare un meraviglioso cielo stellato ed il silenzio della natura.

Non distante dalle terme di Saturnia e dal bel borgo di Pitigliano.

Das Anwesen Podere Sant‘Angelo ist wunderschön in der Natur und sehr gepflegt. Der Gastgeber, Graham, hat sehr viel Liebe in den Garten gesteckt. Wir wurden von ihm sehr herzlich begrüßt und bekamen während unserer 10 Tage Aufenthalt immer wieder gute Tipps. In unserer Wohnung Zolferate fehlte es uns an nichts und im Garten fanden wir viel Ruhe und Erholung.  Herzlichen Dank für alles!

Siamo stati benissimo appartamento Capitorio pulito e con tutto il necessario per una vacanza tranquilla. Paesaggi bellissimi in un contesto molto silenzioso. Si possono raggiungere in poco tempo alcune località molto importanti tipo Montepulciano, Pitigliano, Marina di Grosseto e tante altre località. Graham Bradford il proprietario ci ha accolto molto bene e spiegato tutto in maniera molto chiara. Grazie di tutto Graham Bradford ci rivediamo di sicuro in futuro..

Posto incantevole immerso nella natura. Perfetto per chi volesse un weekend o una settimana rilassante lontano dai rumori della città. Le stanze sono super pulite e attrezzate e la mattina si ci sveglia con un paesaggio paradisiaco. Si raggiunge facilmente Saturnia, il mare e dei bei ristoranti nella zona. Graham il nostro host é super gentile e disponibile.
