Guisy is a gem! She took great care of us while we visited Ragusa, helped us communicating with taxi drivers etc and was always just a text message away to help whenever needed. She also knows the best restaurants and sunset spots. Grazie mille, Guisy! Let me know when you‘re coming to Berlin

We visited the Ragusa tourist information office and was greeted by Rita.
Rita went above and beyond what my expectations were when I walked into the office.
Her attitude towards me was warm and welcoming. Her English was perfect. She organised a cooking class for me and transport to the train station.
I was amazed at the level of service I received. We had a wonderful visit to Ragusa and I think Rita played a massive part in our enjoyment. Thank you

I visited Ragusa around new year. Most of the churches and palazzos were closed: nevertheless I managed to have some nice wondering in town. Around the third day I started to desire some varieties, and ventured into this information point. I was greeted by Virginia, a very no-nonsense person with no feigned approachability, and may help you best (I imagine) if you know what exactly you are looking for. I did not, but nonetheless got a wealth of information from Virginia that was of use to me till I left for Syracuse—or even longer had I stayed—for I only stayed in Ragusa for five days, but the nearby towns of Modica, Scicli, the beach area, and the castle of Donnafugata, as I was made to learn, all merited a visit. They also organise tours to these places, though in winter these are non-feasible for solo travellers. Regardless of that, I received enough pointers from Virginia, that I could have planned trips with public transport to any of these places, had I more leisure or time. I should also mention that I asked about something that was not available at the moment, and she promised to get back to me with more information later, and indeed kept her promise well: and she did all this without think much about profiting from it. Be sure to walk in and ask should you have any question about travel logistics.

Virginia was very informative and clear about driving restrictions and where to park. In all our travels, we have visited many tourist offices and Virginia was the most helpful, knowlegable and competent. Virginia is an asset to Ragusa Ibla.

The tourist information office in Ragusa Ibla is OUTSTANDING. Virginia is an OUTSTANDING hostess and goes beyond the call to help guide you around Ragusa and the greater area of Val di Noto. I was able to purchase (cash only) bus tickets at the TI. Virginia researched bus and train tickets from Ragusa to Sicili to Marina di Ragusa and Modica. Virginia emailed me detailed itinerary and transit times. Virginia also spoke excellent english and went way beyond the call of duty to help me thoroughly enjoy my 3 days in Ragusa Ibla. I was able to confidently take the bus and train to Modica and Sicili because of Virginia's competence. Virginia is the best TI person I've met in Italy. She deserves a big raise and local honor for providing tourists the utmost in hospitality. Thank you so much Virginia, I so appreciate your time and effort! All the best to you!
