Macelleria/ Butcher Shop - Piazza Castello
After the many times I have visited this macelleria I still cannot figure out its name. Nevertheless, the meat here is from locally raised and sourced animals from the mountainous Sicilian countryside. It is fresh and has a distinct flavor compared to our commercially raised meat her in the USA.
When I am in town I buy my meat from this establishment particularly the deliciously seasoned ground beef for hamburgers and sausage without fennel. The meat is ground, seasoned and the products made all right in front of your eyes.
