An excellent experience. Although a bit off the beaten path, it's definitely worth the visit. The wine was explained in great detail, and the appetizer platter was exceptional. For each cheese and ham, the origin and additional information were provided, along with a recommended order of tasting. The host and service were super very friendly. 5 stars!

Did you ever think about how an ideal Italian wine bar should look like? I guess, Evoe comes pretty close. Great service, excellent wines, great recommendations, and also pretty good food (Tomato salad!). Love this place!

This is what a wine bar should be, a passionate, knowledgeable owner who takes you on a wine journey from various local Sicilian wineries. We loved every minute and will be back. Thank you, a presto! 😊

The wine and food itself was phenomenally good - brilliant quality - but in Sicily there is a lot of good food and wine, and what really sets this place apart is the care and attention to detail of the owners.

Between the five of us, we were served ten different wines. Our server was patient with us, didn’t rush us, told us the full story of every single wine, making each wine feel very special.

Although we had a dinner reservation for later, we were recommended mortadella and burrata on focaccia as a snack. It was sensational.

Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be going back.

One of our favourite wine bars that we found on our trip to Sicily. We actually went back twice. The service sets this place apart. The owner really knows his wines and took great care to understand what type of wine we like and found the perfect glasses for us to try.

Wonderful little gem with friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable staff and an extensive wine menu! Some of the best cold cuts we had in Ortigia too (don’t miss out on the donkey mortadella). Loved it so much we went back two more times. Highly recommend for anyone who loves wine!

Best place in Ortigia, the owner has real passion for wine and makes an effort to fit the best wine for your taste, large variety. Cheese and cold cuts platter was amazing! Had a wonderful evening, more people should know and choose this place in Ortigia❤

Stumbled upon evoe for a little pre-dinner aperitivo. At first I was not sure about the place a it was quiet and yet the team seemed busy. But once I was seated, and the food came I was quite happy with my choice. I hade a cheese and charcuterie platter (yummy!) and after having a glass of bubbly, I did a mini wine tasting of most Sicilian reds. I did not catch the name of the person who was leading my tasting but he provided lots of information and was able to adjust based on curiosity of patrons! As I was quite curious, he also provided a book that gave me additional insights on indigenous Sicilian grapes.

Really nice restaurant. 100% recommend! The chef is really kind and have much patient. You could take the wine tasting also for just half glasses. We have tried 10 half glasses of wine from sparking to white wine, red wine until to the moscato. The chef have given fully suggestions and also introduce for every wine. Must to try here for wine lovers!

The best wine restaurant in Sicily! Inside decoration is very fashionable and cosy. Every Wine which the owner recommended was so tasty. I can't forget the taste of variety raw ham from Italy. They were fresh and very soft. I want to visit to this place again:)

Perfect wine shop and restaurant. I did a wine tasting; and the owner is so knowledgeable about the wines and regions they’re grown in. They also have great local craft beers and food. It’s beautiful place to sit and have aperitivo or a meal, inside or outside along the historic streets. The prices are also very reasonable for purchasing the wines to go.

A wonderful experience! The bruschetta, and taglierà of salumi and formaggio was delightful. Our host graced us with an impressive knowledge of some exceptional local Sicilian red wines that he tailored to our personal preferences. And the restaurant had such a relaxed atmosphere with smooth, chilled-out background music. Whenever we return to Ortigia, Evoè will definitely be on our list to visit again! Bellissima!

Food was great for the price. Nice wine selection with local bio and natural wines.

The porchetta and buffala were flavorful and had an awesome mouthfeel.

This is the best wine bar in Ortigia by far. The owner elevates your experience with his knowledge of Sicilian wines, his personable vibe and his incredible customer service. Our family of 6 stayed here for 3 nights and went there every night.

The owner was really friendly and helped me out with a vegan meal (including vegan specific wine), even though it's not typically a place vegans would seek out (lots of meats and cheese). Bruschetta and wine was delicious.

An excellent wine bar, a real gem. Top quality tagliere di salumi e formaggi, bruschetas, everything is really tasty. An endless variety of wines. A really nice and very helpful owner. Amazing experience
