Absolutely love this place. Free museum which can easily be pre-booked online. See the history of the wonderful world of Piaggio - the highlight for us being all the wonderful Vespas from throughout the past century, including plenty of unique models. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Loved by all, not just bikers.

Great exhibition of Vespas from old to new with a lot of information on the history.
And, not only do you get to see scooters you also see the Apes, Gileras, Aprilias and more.
And there's no entry charge.

Book in advance!! Blew away my expectations. Amazing building and collection of Vespas and other Piaggio vehicles. We didn’t realize we were supposed to make a reservation, but the friendly staff let us in. The fact that this is a free museum is wild to me. Our 3 year old son LOVED it. Amazing rainy day activity in Tuscany.

It’s a must visit for any Vespa lover. It’s at the old factory and lost of Vespa and other piaggio products as well. Very organized. It’s a medium size facility that you don’t need a lot of time to spend.

Highly recommended!
It s well designed and you will learn a lot not only about the Vespa but also about the Piaggio company and their achievements from the beginning.
A great place also for kids , they have cared so much to decorate the playroom on theme!
The visit is free of charge and the staff is very friendly and you can visit the gift store at the end.

you don't need to be a motorcycle lover to visit this museum. it's all about the development of technology and design… great ideas made real with vision, great effort and dedication. it's very informative and well organized. 100% recommendable. it's free but leaving a voluntary contribution is not a bad thing to do.

Absolutely loved this museum. I'm in awe of Italian's design, invention and engineering. The lady giving the tour in English was excellent. She clearly loved Piaggio and was justly proud of her heritage

Full disclosure: This place has been on my bucket list to visit for many years.

I have seen the photos, and read the reviews so I knew what to expect. It's not as big as you wish it could be. But it's free (donation of at least 5E is appreciated).

The staff were really friendly and helpful too.

This place is an absolute treasure of all things Vespa and Piaggio. There is lots to see in the 1 hour window you are given to tour the museum. Its plenty enough time, plus you can spend your hard earned cash in the gift shop too.

Make sure you book in advance via the museum website. Your name will be on a list. Knock on the doors and they will let you in and check you off.

Don't forget to go upstairs and check out the artwork Vespas and the other Piaggio items in the separate room. I really do love the Ape's.

My wife, boys and I visited whilst travelling to Pisa, as we needed to pass a few hours! What an absolute treat this turned out to be; I was so glad we found it!
First of all…… you have to book a slot via their website and there are restriction on opening times and days, particularly at the weekend!
This is free museum with voluntary donations at the exit (well worth a donation). There is adequate parking along the street on a Sunday.
The museum is not huge and my family comfortably saw what we want in an hour. However, for Vespa fans or other Piaggio production bike fans (Aprilia etc) you could easily spend so much more time here! There is an absolute wealth of history about the company and all of the motorbikes (and more) that is has produced through the years.
A must for any avid or casual motorbike enthusiast.

Must see!!!
We do visit a lot of motorcycle and automotive museums in Europe. This one gets the top!!! You decide how much you pay (yes, this may be free of charge, if you decide). In old production facility you will see massive info, multimedia and VESPAS, Gilerra, piaggio, etc… great exposition.
Consider opening hours.
Space for kids, couple of bathrooms, vespa sidecar for taking pictures. History, design and art in single space.
Mekka for vespa addicted. For the rest… must see.

One of the must see locations in Tuscany. It is not a big museum but includes all history and variations of Vespa. You can see also works of different artists, including the one with Dali’s touch on it. Entrance is free, you can reserve a guided tour for only 5 Euros. Highly recommended.

Surprisingly good! Free museum and a very nice one. We enjoyed the information about the history and seeing all those special Vespa’s. Enough parking space around the museum.

Such a nice small museum!
I recommend booking the guided tour (also available in English) that's only 5 € per person.

Huge collection of mainly old historic Vespa, Ape, Gilera etc etc including some british. Beautifully presented and super interesting. We loved it. However, they want you gone after an hour, even tho few there. You need to book online, and even tho we booked a tour, it didn't happen apparently because there weren't 5 english speakers booked. We can't be sure as security greeter didn't speak English. So in summary a most wonderful place if you have any interest, but on site organisation poor. Bookshop a waste of time. We loved it.
